This is the exact layout of our 2022 Gulfstream Conquest 30ft, except the bathroom is switched with the shower on the passenger side, and one more very large outdoor storage behind the sofa. I also have more storage above the sofa, and our bathroom door swings toward the kitchen and attaches with a strong magnet to make a nice ensuite bathroom. I have a single bowl sink in the kitchen which leaves more counter space. We love it!
Hi Matt and Andrea my dislikes are the toilet and not much storage and no cup holders but not a deal breaker. I can deal with it. My likes are no slide outs and love the bed room and the storage outside. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
I love the white RV, super cool in the sun. I love the no slides. I could rent this out when I'm not using it without worrying. Nice space around the bed. Hate the generator! Give me inverter generator or give me solar and huge LFE batteries or both. Dump that noisy, shaky, 170 lb Onan in a ditch. If you ran that generator, we wouldn't be able to hear you guys making the video in there.
I like a no slide unit but I'm looking at those for the low 80s online and I see such low quality, cheap blinds, cheap furniture, just bare bones just to say you have a new RV then for the same prices I see 2015 and 2016 small Isata Class Cs with full body paint, a ton better build quality, more features and chances are all the factory defects are fixed. I don't know. I worry about how is that lower quality going to hold up because I don't want a RV thats going to fall apart while I still owe 10 years worth of payments on it. I saw a 2010 dynamax the other day for 45k that had leather furniture, real wood cabinets, I'm talking Airstream quality and it was 13 years old and I'm wondering if this motor home would look that good after 13 years. I'm honestly thinking a used higher quality well cared for class C is a better choice and value then a lower quality new class C. Whats your opinion on that?
Hey TJ I was scrolling down and I really like your comment .. two ideas from me: I’m 💯💯💯 with u on ur stress about the quality supporting the financing .. Just bcz of this risk, I’m waiting on my buy until I have a big chunk of cash up front (I pay cash outright, or , I can comfortably afford fixed % rate financing, max 5 years, on the balance). If someone tells me real estate is location location location, a used RV is condition, condition, condition. There’s no rule for that, it’s always case by case - know before u dough. Either way, I make sure I can always cover a repair up to 15% of the price, so that if there is no warranty, or, that breakdown isn’t covered, I still am.
My dislikes are the propane. I think it is easier to switch out a propane tank then go get it filled. There was an RV park where we stayed in Morganhill, CA that had a service if you put your propane tank out they would come around and exchange it for a full one. Also, there is not much storage inside. The high shower and toilet, but those are not deal breakers. We like the towing. We like to dry camp on the desert to ride our dirt bikes and side by side, but want an RV we can easily park at a National Park (our travel trailer is 29'). It is really nice to not have to have a slide out for a bed. We cannot count how many times we have arrived somewhere in the middle of the night and just needed to go to sleep before we were able to do anything else as it was dark and we were tired. Our toy hauler RV travel trailer does not have any slides and we can get to our bed easily. It is extremely nice to climb into bed after a long day and go to sleep. The kitchen area is doable to me as I would use that corner counter area for the coffee maker.
Matt, on Three things you dislike, you combined three things into one, haha, so actually, its 5 or 6 things you don't like! I really think you need to change the 3 to 5!
Hey Matt. You don't seem to care for this rig as much, but it is probably one of the most practical as well as affordable RV the average customer is most likely to purchase. I could live in this rig.
Hi Matt and Andrea, I have a question, I like the idea of N/S facing bed but, often wonder why they’re not more centered so both sides are easier to access. If anyone knows why they do this please tell me,Thank you. As for my likes/dislikes, here we go now. Likes are #1 No slides, #2 lighter interior, #3 N/S facing bed, also I like the overhead bunk weight of 800 lbs. Dislikes #1 doors/ latches on outside doors, #2 No pantry/ lack of inside storage, #3 high step into shower/ plastic toilet/ no medicine cabinet. Also instead of privacy curtain maybe have wood pocket doors. Maybe with some upgrades in materials, some cup holders, more counter space/ tower of power and pantry I’d consider it. Thank you for sharing this review with us. Hope to meet you and Andrea one day soon. 🙂
I do like RVs with no slides. So much more piece of mind. Yes, you lose a lot of living space but it’s I were primarily boondocking or National and state parks, no slide is nice. I understand this is a “budget” RV. But… it does look like they used cheap materials in a number of areas. Likes: MSRP No slide Larger cab area compared to Ford. Dislikes: 3500 chassis. I’ve driven both and prefer the 4500 Plastic toilet Lower quality blinds, privacy curtains that don’t give privacy, and lack of interior kitchen cabinets Thank you for another excellent video.
Good review, Matt and Andrea. Being 6'2" tall, the 80" bed makes up for a lot of sins. However, the main functions of a motorhome seems to me to be providing a place to (1) sleep, (2) eat and (3) answer nature's calls. So it does #1 quite well but falls well short of the other two. Storage in back, accessed from outside, is quite good but that's an inconvenient place for a pantry. I really want to like this one, but not quite.
If coachmen is really reading this, they need to really push their quality control better. I recently bought a very similar model and damn, soo many repairs I have to deal with. Can’t believe something soo has many problems.
Thank you Matt and Andrea. We love how you guys honestly rate every RV you show us. Side note , my dogs now have a new potty command, “PRIME POOPIN’ POSITION”.
Hey M/A thanks for running this one, the class C is where I’m looking to buy, and there’s a lot about this to like .:. the cockpit seat reclines 👍🏽 much further than I figured it would, and that cutout behind the driver is so simple it’s awesome; kitchen has a good amount of space 👍🏽 tho I would option in a single sink; an 800 lb 👍🏽overhead bunk ROCKS there’s lots of sleeping space; and (4x4 coming) the hitch rating 👍🏽 is surprisingly high .:. I’m not a fan of Chevy 👎🏽 chassis except on price point; a king bed is 👎🏽 tough to fit without a slide, although some Towables make it work; you already know I would put a sliding barn door 👎🏽 on the bedroom and mount a bigger TV on it, combo-ing that with making one of the below-price-point privacy curtains go away; and (4x4) speaking of, the cabinet colour 👎🏽 makes the interior look below price point as well - a light grey or a white cabinet birch (colour) front appeals more to me especially with the frame and insert style already in place .:. No slides helps ccc, reliability, and price point big time 👍🏽👎🏽 but square footage is smaller so interior storage space suffers .:. The price point kicks butt and takes names 👍🏽 but I’m looking for a C to do long trips rather than weekend getaways. The small storage and small bed 👎🏽 are a big part of my choice.
Overpriced! This entry level Class C was selling at $60k before the pandemic. Price will be back down soon with everything going on today. No one needs an RV.... Just be patient.
I think with that you're talking about and being nice and with the more towing package in a more heavier frame all that and you know like you said a bigger size that would be nice but that's everything correct on it looks good and me but needs more towing because you might want to bring more stuff with you like cooking all that everything possible well I like take some with me and drive around leave the parts somewhere thank you
You guys never talk about or measure and report the road noise or engine noise in these RV's. I found there is a huge difference in engine and tire noise in these RV's. It would be super helpful if you could give some indication of that. I had to add a bunch of padding to my dog house engine cover in my Class A to get so I could even talk to my wife in our RV.
Matt, is the USTEP ladder just meant for climbing up a few rungs??? Just wondering because you still have NEVER demonstrated how to safely get on and off a roof☹️☹️☹️
05:10 one AC in a 30ft RV - you need to stay out of the south or bask in the heat 09:30 Y'all need to start testing the OTC weight claim by putting Matt & will in it at the same time ... hahahahahahahahahahaha
I would be very wary of the Chevy chassis. Otherwise it looks pretty nice. I like no slides and that big bed. Bath is a little chintzy. This looks like a good model for people looking to save money.
Do not like the kitchen at all . No storage and no counter space that is usable . I cannot sleep with my face against a cabinet so I do not like that and the bathroom with the raised shower and toilet do not work for me ! Plastic toilet is a no go ! Do like the lightness and the cab is nice , but overall with the lack of storage and kitchen set up it is just not practical . Great video ! The new shirt is hilarious !!
Great price. Like it but, no oven.🤔🙄 i could deal with stepping up into the shower IF it had an oven! Love that the weight over the cab was 800lbs! That's awesome! Yeah, really like that rv!! Can always switch out toilets and get a porcelain one.
Likes: Bunk house, for us it’s good to have our son (disabled) needing to pass us to get to the door. Also the bathroom for him is right there for all of us to share. Theatre seating and great kitchen, but can you replace dishwasher storage/oven. My wife will not use a dishwasher. Dislikes. Table is odd. No egress window behind master bowl. Again a reach, but I don’t care for the side by side refrigerator. Other than that it’s a sweet ride, just a bit out of our range, even at $380k.
Team Matt, Which chassis do you prefer, the Ford or Chevy for a Class C? And why? Also, the retail price of a ceramic or porcelain toilet isn’t much, the wholesale price that manufactures get is probably $100 than a plastic toilet. It makes no sense why there is a plastic toilet still being manufactured.
Weight is the major factor in deciding on plastic toilet. Some Sprinter-based RV’s going for over 200k have plastic toilets to create a few more pounds of carrying capacity.
The weight difference is roughly 27-30lbs. If that small increase in weight impacts the CCC enough to render the RV unusable then the manufacture has probably started with the wrong chassis to begin with. Having a stained toilet for the life of the RV isn’t worth saving that 27-30lbs. Just my opinion.
I dislike the Chevy, no underbed storage, the 2 curtains, the double sinks with no counter space, & no stabilizers. I like the light cabinets and that's about it.
I really hate this floor plan, it sucks that all the non-slide units in this size have the same floor plan, I wish one of the manufactures would come up with a no-slide version of the 31mb or jaycos 29XK
Pretty basic unit. But, nice. Q: Matt, when you "fail" a toilet, could you mention whether or not it can be upgraded to porcelain, or in some cases, can they be repositioned slightly. Sometimes the toilet would be better if it were turned slightly. Otherwise a nice unit. 110,000 is kinda high for whst your getting
Glad you are in Texas. Haven’t watched one of your videos in a long time. Is auto leveling an option? It would have been nice to have a forward window in the bunk-over-the-cab. Some solar should be standard.
Not bad for the price. I can afford to swap for a real toilet. I don’t like split bathrooms, again the price make is doable. A good solo unit or day tripper
The thing that disturbs me is that Patrick Henry, the person who is credited with saying "Give me liberty, or give me death!", was actually willing to take up arms and kill people to back up his convictions. It was a statement that life in a world without liberty was not worth living in and people who would deny others their freedom deserved to be killed. I get that "Give me porcelain..." is catchy, but it's equating plastic toilet bowls with people being oppressed by a tyrannical government or, conversely, that porcelain toilet bowls are a basic human right worth going to war over.
You just explained something well over Matt’s simple head… he just seems to think it’s a catchy sounding phrase so I will yell it over and over with no idea of where it came for or why it’s inappropriate… I’m Canadian and even I knew about the etymology of the phrase… you would think such a proud American would have some knowledge of the history of the crap he spews 🤡
@@lifeaftereverything4986 The whole channel (to clarify, I think of the motorhome and towable channels as one channel) has been... interesting the last year or so since going independent. The focus on community has certainly gone forward, but the quality of presentation and attitude seems to have changed. The quality of information is relatively the same, but it feels like much of the fun is gone. I've seen this happen to many channels when they transition from being more of a fun hobby to primary source of income.
Why does the sofa not have arms? It just appears to me that Coachman doesn't put much thought into any of their Class C's , like it's the sacrifice in their line of RV's.
I had a long list of dislikes, then I realized that it was because this is an entry level unit. However, I don't like the 3500 chassis, especially on a 30 footer. Also I would have liked to see the dinette (or sofa) removed for a larger kitchen and more storage. As it is, it looks very cramped in that area, and for me I don't need dining for 4 or seating for 7. I like the true queen sized bed and also that it's north/south so that there's room on both sides. I also love the lack of slides and 30 foot length. I think that I've been watching too many of your videos and have too much information stuffed into my little brain. Most of the time all I can see is ways that I would redesign the unit to fit my needs, and not individual things that I like or dislike. 🤨
“I can’t confirm if this RV has stabilizers or not”just shows your level of not giving a crap about you videos anymore… it would be easy to confirm… just step outside and look underneath?? Confirmed!! When do we hear the story of your free RV that was promised 2 weeks ago?? And why you would choose an RV that is obviously not well suited to your needs?? Every time you mention it you have a complaint about it… so tell us the truth on why you chose such a bad RV and how people should trust you to help them find the right RV for them when you couldn’t even do it for yourself??
🤣😂 vans are not reasonably priced to begin with so good luck with that part, and 90% most have the back double couch where u can stick bikes, kennels etc in between for travel. 🍻
@@Couplescience I'm sorry I don't know the classes yet. I'm still learning. I'm not looking for something that's stealth. I'm looking for something to where I can take to GA or around the state and pull into a rest area and get a decent rest. Something that's easy to drive & not huge. Also we can take our dog & be comfortable with putting our dog in the kennel and not leaving at home alone.
I'm actually unimpressed with this given the size. At 30ft, so little counter space, so little closet space. I've seen smaller with better! I don't even care about plastic toilets (if anything, pressure the industry to start offering composting toilet options...) but storage! At least the cargo capacity is good. I hate seeing RVs with storage space but the capacity is way too low for it to be relevant once you get a human in there with a full water tank!
Dislikes: kitchen sink (too small for useful double sink), queen bed (we would prefer twin beds), and interior storage (but, it is what it is) Likes: PRICE (this easily could be all 3 likes), compressor refrigerator (huge, ginormous, improvement over an absorption refrigerator) and exterior storage.
Two travel trailers i had both had sinks like this one, and you know what is super handy about that little sink? You can wash a dish or your meal dishes and set it aside to air dry in that little sink. Super flippin handy! And spend half the time doing dishes. When there is two people there is always dishes of some sort being used. Wished my new rv had this sink instead of one big sink, which by the way takes up more room that can only be used to wash dishes and remains empty all other times. 🙁
You guys are just too cute. I missed the potable and fat azz on the roof. I'm not sure why but it's just NOT the same, lol! You both have great charisma and spunk. Keep it up!
Likes: awning, shocked a coachman rv has a ladder, N/W bed, Dislikes: no exterior tv, twisty storage door locks, no slid outs, cheap looking blinds, cheap plastic shower 'door' (deal breaker), too many dislikes to mention. Where's the tv?
Like the wide awning, exterior paint, cabover sturdier than most... Dislike lack of rear storage access under bed window, should be option for 2 ACs, no place for trash can - bunk could have window on passenger side for more light.
@@Couplescience They make units for that also... May not be as powerful individually but the extra flow still cools faster than single unit in many cases.
Not fond of ladder attached to the R V, mostly because the bottom step is so high up off the ground. Even that bumper is too high No cup holders in dinette. Sink needs a cover Like the price.
Talk guy likes Chevy platform (can’t fit in Ford E-series) and 80” bed. Like it having no slides. The dinette seating, though, looked Lilliputian, but maybe that was just the camera angle? I don’t understand the obsession with porcelain toilets so that doesn’t bother me. On the whole, quite nice I would love to once see a Chevy model not built out as the discount version.
high stepshower and plstic high step toilet are both deal breakers no cross breeze windows over cab is another deal breaker.no auto leveling..another deal breaker. twist doors on storage is still yet another deal breaker.
No storage and no pantry isn't good. Before anyone buys this unit, take a look at someone else's on the road in a park somewhere to see how it is in real life with stuff inside. Better be an expert at organizing, even for only weekend trips. But it can work for 2 people, maybe plus a small child I think.
I love Class C RVs with no slides!
@@Couplescience Exactly! Slides are just another thing to worry about.

My number 1 like is no slides. 2 compressor fridge 3 over cab capacity Dislikes1 shower step height 2 lack of counter space 3 lower carrying capacity
Thank you for reviewing a Class C with no slides. Also, many people are looking for state and national park sized RV's.
Exterior storage could of been your number 3 in the things you like
You have got to mention if it has navigation or has Apple CarPlay. For some of us, we would need to spend the money to modernize the audio system.
That ladder is some superior design and execution.
I like the contrasting piping on the seating it breaks up the color

@@kdub2224 i agree, but that is the reasoning. Ask Airstream , they put plastic in the 280k Atlas. Sprinter chassis are absurd, but snobs want them.
love the no slides. Could be our next RV Wish you could tell what sale price is!!
Cute, not for us but I can see some loving a simple basic Class C. The price is really good though.
No slides! Yay!
Please start telling us what motor is in the rv please. That would be cool if that was a duramax.
Very nice very well put together, but no storage...
Welcome back to our channel Edward! Thanks for watching 👍😁
I don’t like 1) the sink 2)the lose wires in the overhead cabinet 3) 🤷🏽♀️. I like 1)bed 2)cockpit space 3)no slides
😑No Potable Water ? Why ? ty love the vlogs
over priced. Wait a few months and everything will be on Fire Sales.
Much better to buy a Coachman beyond or Nova. Much nicer build quality.
Not bad for the price. I can afford to swap for a real toilet. I don’t like split bathrooms, again the price make is doable. A good solo unit or day tripper
Great RV I'm interested
Agree.
Matt sounds ridiculous, it’s too extreme. 🍻
That’s stupid! Get a sense of humor dude.
@@janicelennon2198 It was slightly amusing the first two or three hundred times. Now it's just spitting or pissing into the wind. It got old.
I don’t like the curtain that comes close to the stove. Hubby couldn’t be cooking breakfast while I was in the shower.
He’s that bad of a cook huh. 😂🤣😉
Every time you mention it you have a complaint about it… so tell us the truth on why you chose such a bad RV and how people should trust you to help them find the right RV for them when you couldn’t even do it for yourself??
bathroom door to the ceiling please...so when someone's in there at night with the light on, it doesn't light the whole rv up.
Yes, a smaller sink would be better.
Can you please show some reasonably priced van with bathroom motorhomes large enough for a large dog kennel to be inside.
Somehow 109000 doesn’t strike me as cheap
I'm actually unimpressed with this given the size. At 30ft, so little counter space, so little closet space. I've seen smaller with better! I don't even care about plastic toilets (if anything, pressure the industry to start offering composting toilet options...) but storage! At least the cargo capacity is good. I hate seeing RVs with storage space but the capacity is way too low for it to be relevant once you get a human in there with a full water tank!
Dislikes: kitchen sink (too small for useful double sink), queen bed (we would prefer twin beds), and interior storage (but, it is what it is)
Likes: PRICE (this easily could be all 3 likes), compressor refrigerator (huge, ginormous, improvement over an absorption refrigerator) and exterior storage.
@@SpykersB OK - different point of view.
sad for nice size pass-through storage to only have access on each side. really limits ease of getting to stuff.
Have ladder, will travel.
Min 10:08. Where ur sitting should b a full.. closet...
Matt you look wore down take a break dude you and Andrea deserve it
Before watching video, I predict no ladder since it's a Co;achman. edited: I was wrong.
You Didn't Ask Us To Hit That Thumbs Up 👍. "What Other Super Excited RV Reviewer Is Gonna Take His Fat A$$ On The Roof? NOBODY!!! 😂🤣😅
👍
Not fond of ladder attached to the R V, mostly because the bottom step is so high up off the ground. Even that bumper is too high
No cup holders in dinette.
Sink needs a cover
Like the price.
I cook and I want a double bowl sink sorry .
Agree! Double bowl is the best! 🍻
I heard John Cena wasn’t a fan of this one for the same reasons.
🤣
high stepshower and plstic high step toilet are both deal breakers no cross breeze windows over cab is another deal breaker.no auto leveling..another deal breaker. twist doors on storage is still yet another deal breaker.
Quality in RV's has gone waaaayyyy down. Basically taking your money for very sub par materials and workpersonship. Very 😢
I don’t like where the TV is.
Not big on the Chev chase sorry 😐
No storage and no pantry isn't good. Before anyone buys this unit, take a look at someone else's on the road in a park somewhere to see how it is in real life with stuff inside. Better be an expert at organizing, even for only weekend trips. But it can work for 2 people, maybe plus a small child I think.
PLEASE stop saying "we do got" 😡
Not a Chevy motor no thanks
This coach was a waste of time to build. BIG 0
That’s an ugly RV. Hate class C’s
TERRIBLE unit.
