Hi Everyone, We hope you enjoyed our video! Which small Class A motorhome under 30' did you like best? Do you prefer a travel trailer, motorhome or 5th wheel? Please say hello by leaving a comment below and sharing your opinion about these RV floor plans.
I would like to see an RV Company make something that someone on SSI could afford at like $3-400 a month payments plus insurance and help end part of the homeless problem. I for one would do it and just go to a different park every month. You would have to get a PO Box but I make enough in food stamps and by myself I would be OK. Some you wouldn't do that with but some it would be great!! Dreams are still there for a better world at 60 years of age
@@damianbadboy7586 There are quite a few full-time RVers because it can be a more affordable living option or they can travel to chase work. I would like to see some more affordable RVs out there too. Don't forget to check the used market. Can find some great deals.
You're welcome and thank you! So glad you enjoyed the video. It was nice to see one without a slide out! They can be such a hassle. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
One important aspect you didn’t point out on the 1st and 2nd models is. “NO PULL OUTS” I like that. That’s an awesome feature for seniors and those with limit strength and ability.
@@ljsavmech no worries. Just making sure your weren't referring to furniture like bedding. The slide outs operate electrically so I'm not sure if it's a concern for seniors. The biggest drawbacks to slide outs are that they have a tendency to stop working and leak.
Hi Mike and Susan! Great video! The one I like is the Jayco Alante and the Thor. I love the Jayco because of all the storage for as small as it is. Jayco and Thor did great with these Rvs. Thank you Mike and Susan! Have a great week and see you in a week.
Hi Sherri! So glad you liked the Jayco and Thor floor plans. They both offered more storage than the Coachmen. I think my pick would be the Jayco too but because that Thor shower was way to small. Hope you have a great week, as well! Thank you for your support!
Thanks Mike!!! The 27XPS is on my radar since I’m team Non-Slide. I really checks all the boxes. I wish the shades were privacy up but that’s certainly not a deal breaker for me.
Love the coachmen! great to see no slides and small. Seems like it would be easy for quick overnights and I love the desk feature for the passenger seat!
The Coachmen Pursuit 27XPS is a great floor plan for it's size and without slides! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
We saw that and wasn't quite sure if that's what that was 🤣. Thank you for pointing that out. And thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
The Alante is a very nice floor plan with a huge slide out! Jayco did a great job. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
In #1 I like the kitchen area separate from the living/dining area so I don’t block the tv while preparing meals. No drawers- I can live with that. Toilet room is tiny but the split bathroom is okay. #2 I prefer a jackknife sofa and you’re right about turning the burners sideways for counter space. #3 is my favorite. the cockpit area looks pretty but is the media screen visible to the driver? That’s a problem in many rvs I’ve looked at, as there is so much glare on the screen the driver can’t see it clearly and the passenger (me) can’t reach the radio controls. I love a smaller dinette and televator and the jackknife sofa, and good sized kitchen area and big sink. The bathroom and shower are a good size for this small rv and the big bed is a plus even though having a slideout can be a pain. 👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the review. There's nothing wrong with watching TV in your RV...we do too! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!

Thank you for your reviews.

The Thor Vegas has very nice drivers cab and the chairs looks so comfortable. It looks stylish. Cant go wrong with the pull out bed, cup holders, and the little end table. I saw a pop up receptacle and look like possibly a USB charger behind the salt and pepper shakers I really like the kitchen drawers. I like when RVs put kitchen drawers in and when they think of the trashcan placement. I like the refrigerator swing wide enough to access everything Jayce Alante 27 delivered a lot for the dollar. I like the wardrobe in master but not the tight leg room to get in and of bed. I do realize that’s a Sacrifice made to have that large of a cabinet in that space. Yes, I would still want to watch tv during camping. Especially for anything over 72-96 hours away from home.
So glad you liked the floor plans in this RV tour video. I like the features you pointed out. Those are important for others to think of as well. Thank you for sharing your perspective! Question: 1) How do you travel through city infrastructure (bridges, tunnels, Etm) with propane. 2) Can you share what a typical propane setup looks like.
The propane is supposed to be turned off prior to entering tunnels. We have a blog article that might answer your questions. rvblogger.com/blog/is-it-ok-to-drive-an-rv-with-the-propane-on/
Awesome video. Good to see gas models come popular must people can’t afford to repair the diesel. We got 15 vlite which I bet we never watched the bedroom tv twice lol. 🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦🛠️
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed the video. We were thrilled to find some smaller Class A motorhomes. Diesel is always so much more expensive. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
We are weekend, usually state parks, campers and rarely have TV service b it when we do, we might watch at bedtime or if there’s a football game we want to see.
Euro. No dishwasher, would prefer an additional drawer. The TB and LE have huge outside storage in the rear, and you can access the bathroom with the slide closed.
Great video !! especially the 27 xps, we like this model but the dash and driving area look different, we saw a 2024 and it was different than the one in your video. Anyway you gave us very good information, thank you!
That's interesting that the dash looks different. This was a 2024 model at the Hershey RV Show in Pennsylvania where they feature their 2024 models for the first time. Either way it's a great motorhome under 30'. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Hands down Jayco! Love the kitchen with all the storage I mean really, was it the first one without kitchen drawers?!? And second one has a shower that some may not be able to shower in? Also I like Jayco dinette and couch lastly the ability to store a kayak down below is awesome! I’m not a full timer but also not a big TV fan We use one tv once daily to watch movie in the evening Dont watch in bed or outside What kind of “A” do you have? Maybe next review- under 30 diesel A’s?
Glad you liked the Jayco. It's a great motorhome floor plan under 30'. We have a Thor Challenger 37FH. Diesel Class A under 30' is a great category. Thanks for the suggestion. And thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
What is available > 24 ft front bumper to tow ball in a class A that is comfortable for 4 adults and can easily tow a heavy trailer also under 24 ft from front of tow bar to bumper?
The Vegas in this video is 25' and can tow 8,000 lbs. In theory you could tow a TT. The Thor Axis 24.1 is also a contender. I'm not aware of any Class As that are under 25'. If you do tow a TT with a small motorhome please be sure to check all your weights to tow safely. Mortons on the Move wrote an article that might be helpful. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support! www.mortonsonthemove.com/motorhome-towing/
Thank you for adding one without slides. I never have a tv while on the road. However, I have my phone that does everything I need (youtube, sports, movies, ect.)
I actually like the first one except for the fact that there is absolutely no kitchen storage. It sleeps 6, where do you put the food they're going to want to eat? The drawer under the sofa is fantastic and I guess that's the pantry? Except that thanks to no storage in the bedroom, that's where everyone's clothes have to go. There has got to be a way to get a little more storage in those coaches. Other than that I was very surprised with that little RV, they did a pretty good job. One note- giving us the weight limit on the drop down bunk would be helpful. The number of people doesn't tell us much.... But the weight limit would.
The Coachmen Pursuit is a pretty good floor plan for a motorhome under 30' and without slides. But it definitely lacked storage. Sorry we didn't give the weight capacity on the upper bunk. We always have a hard time finding that information, even on the manufacturer website. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
The Vegas is such a letdown by the end. The entire rig was actually pretty great and then you get to that shower, it negates everything ! I will standby previous comments and say I think Jayco is one of the best bang for your buck in the industry as a whole. Great video, guys thanks for the upload I can only wish you got into the more electronic stuff in the front seats for motor homes
Hopefully some other manufacturer, or another division of Thor like Jayco or Entegra, will take this floorplan and improve it with a better shower, better electrical system, dual pane windows and better fit/finish. Compressor fridge is a giant step forward, but the electrical system is antiquated and inadequate. From reading the owners' group, it seems like most owners invest heavily in modifications. This size/style needs some competition!
@arisdaddy2001 You shouldn't have to invest heavily on modifications when your rig costs this much. We are seeing more smaller rigs so hopefully it will become competitive.
The mid bathroom in a Class A under 30' does tend to narrow the hall space quite a bit, especially if there isn't a slide out. The Delano does have a great floor plan! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
We would love to see a class a rv with theater seating across from the tv. A couple does not need the fold out sofa. We really could do without the dinning table. We would rather have a larger kitchen.
Sounds like a great floor plan to me! Check out the Thor Vegas 26.1. Has theater seating and no dinette but the TV is about the entry door (if that is an issue). We have this tour in an upcoming video but check it out. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
Thanks Susan and Mike, well presented. Personally, I lost interest in all three because of the kitchens. Too small. The Thor with a shower curtain, hahahaha, nope. TV's while camping? (glamping) This is up to the individual. I've lived places where I've never turned on the TV, so not really a big deal. I would rather use the TV with an HDMI hook up to a computer I suppose. Thanks for your work and stay safe out there.
Hi Tuvia! Small motorhomes lose a bit of comfort in the bathroom and kitchen, esp with fewer slide outs. I suppose that would make a nice big computer screen. Thank you for all your support!
You're welcome and thank you! Sorry, we typically only cover RV floor plans in our videos. We don't get into too many of the other specs since we include 3 tours in each video and don't want the video to be too long. Our hope is that if a viewer sees a floor plan they like they can check out the manufacturers website for more information. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting, we appreciate your support!
That's understandable. We'll include that information in our next Class A video. Thank you for the suggestion. And thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!

The cheaply made, and small with a lousy curtain shower in the Thor is a DEAL KILLER!! Is there anyone at Thor that can design a well thought out, QUALITY bathroom design???? Otherwise the Vegas 24.1 COULD be a contender.
I like ovens in an RV. My Winnie View didn’t have one. After a few years I sold it to my sister. Did ACE give up and go away? They used to make a 28’ Class a that I thought was killer.
Ok. We don't have personal experience with a CPAP machine but we know RV manufacturers make accommodations for them in bedrooms. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Thor owns more product lines that most people aren't even aware of. They aren't all terrible. You have to be more specific than this. Thanks for watching!
@@RVBlogger thank you . I was looking to buy a Thor Ace 2024 but I was shocked to see so many quality control issues in assembly …. Gaps , wall paper unglued , missing caulk … and this is what a was able to see with my eyes without much experience ….
@@cristianstriblea792 we completely understand that, after traveling through so many new RVs. Our advice is to get it inspected by a third party for assurance. It cost us a little but we were able to negotiate the repairs with the dealership and Thor (yes we bought a Thor🤦♀). We actually took it to Thor in Elkhart Indiana for everything covered under warranty.
Camping: They are motorhomes. The prices are the same as a regular home. I want the comforts of a home. If you don’t want to watch tv🤷🏾♂️ the off button works. If you have kids why have them spoil the trip because they want to enjoy a DVD while you are driving. My wife loves her Christain videos she never gets to watch because of the hassle of life. UA-cam and other educational channels are great to watch while you are away from the regular life.
You are absolutely right! We all "disconnect" from home and work differently. Thank you for sharing your perspective. And thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
I agree its a, No interest watching TV when RVing. Listen to music, be outside, walk/bike campground, read a book, sit by fire. Shut off iphone. Get away. 👍 there’s a window n bath
I guess it depends on how long you're on the road. If you are a weekender or vacationer than you can definitely find other activities besides watching TV. For full-time living or extended rainy days having a TV is helpful. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Awe...that's how we like to fall asleep too. It takes a special couple to be able to RV and live in tight quarters. Thanks for watching and for your comment.
Make a note, a list of the units you think would work for you. More people than you might think buy an RV, take a few trips, then experience health or a death, and the RV has to go cheap. Then scour the used listings on occasions (I use a free internet search engine where I can enter in names or whatever, like RV model numbers and it will email me whenever news or specific words show up, like “Used MD355” and it helps me stay alert on both the prices as well as availability.
MSRP is still a bit high though dealerships and RV shows drastically reduce prices. Erin has a great point. We always recommend checking the used RV market. You can find great deals there. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
I stream nature videos on my TV. It plays the sounds but also brings the outside in when I’m inside my trailer. Just check UA-cam. You can have beautiful music playing while a waterfall plays in the background. It’s like having a window with the best view.
we had a 35’ class A with a Ford V10. It ROARED when accelerating and going up hills. We have a MB Sprinter Diesel and don’t get that type of noise. Gas is fine, we just found them loud.
I simply do not understand why they don't put a 2 burner cooktop front to back in all RV's. Most people need no more than 2 burners. For me, I can do very well without a cooktop. The only reason I have used the cooktop in my RV is to make sure propane is getting through. And, with a 12v refrigerator, (which I have and love) that is not really that important. I got a big cutting board to cover the cooktop and make counter space.
I agree! We would even be fine with a portable induction cooktop. Propane is nice if your are boondocking. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
I heard from some RV builders that the oven basically requires a three burner cooktop, so if you have an oven they will always do 3 burner, if you don't have an oven, you may get a two burner or countertop induction.
That would have to be a bit before my time for an MSRP that low. I will say dealerships and RV shows are drastically reducing prices so that's a good sign. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
Something always gets sacrificed in a smaller motorhome. Guess it was the closet space in that one. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Our RV tour videos focus primarily on the floor plan of an RV and doesn't cover topics like horsepower or gas mileage etc. Our hope is that if someone sees a floor plan they like they can do further research at the manufacturers website. Sorry we don't include that information for you. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!

@@RVBlogger I have read a lot of studies that show a negative effect on sleep patterns. In my own experience it does change my mental state about shutting down my brain. And it’s one less thing to bump into when I go to the bathroom at night, ;).
@@Factsmatter626 Great answer! I'll have to look into that. Susan and I fall asleep when our TV is on so maybe it affects people differently or we have adapted to it...Thanks for your answer. Mike
Never pay the MSRP - always negotiate a better deal. Are there other rigs that do better in accidents than these? I think it would take a pretty big accident for your RV to be gone...

Glad you liked the Jayco. It's a great motorhome floor plan under 30'. We have a Thor Challenger 37FH. Diesel Class A under 30' is a great category. Thanks for the suggestion. And thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
What type of license do you need?
Just a standard license. You don't need a CDL or commercial license. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
@24:39 I love the Dravers cab on this ClassA!
The Jayco Alante 27A does have a pretty sweet drivers cab area! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Informative reviews, but I really wish you would have mentioned the CCC of each RV!
Thank you! Sorry about the CCC omission. I can start including that in the full screen graphic. Thank you for suggesting! We appreciate your support.
Jayco wins for the king bed and decent size shower
Agree! And lots of storage in the bedroom! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Very good Video. Greetings from Germany .
Hello friend 👋. Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed the video. We appreciate your support!
You're welcome. Glad we could find one without slides! We can do EVERYTHING on our phones...so crazy! Thanks @blessedveteran, appreciate your support!
TV is a must
Agree! It's great for rainy days. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
TV is a must for rainy days and the evening. During the day I can hike and enjoy nature.
Thank you! We appreciate your support! The shower in the Vegas was a bit disappointing. Sorry we didn't cover dash electronics and gadgets.
@arisdaddy2001 You shouldn't have to invest heavily on modifications when your rig costs this much. We are seeing more smaller rigs so hopefully it will become competitive.
mid-bathrooms just steal space. The Thor Delano w/Murphy bed is a spacious DREAM at the same size.
Thank you, any chance you can provide general mileage averages per gallon on the highway for each of these?
You're welcome and thank you! Sorry, we typically only cover RV floor plans in our videos. We don't get into too many of the other specs since we include 3 tours in each video and don't want the video to be too long. Our hope is that if a viewer sees a floor plan they like they can check out the manufacturers website for more information. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting, we appreciate your support!
@@RVBlogger thank you for replying, understandable.
What is the max payload? I don’t need how much I can tow but how much I can stow
That's understandable. We'll include that information in our next Class A video. Thank you for the suggestion. And thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
I like the Jayco Alante best. Why do you call outlets recepticles?
Mike's previous career was in the home building business. They refer to outlets as receptacles. Can't teach an old dog new tricks😂! Thank you for watching our RV tour videos and commenting. We appreciate your support!
The cheaply made, and small with a lousy curtain shower in the Thor is a DEAL KILLER!! Is there anyone at Thor that can design a well thought out, QUALITY bathroom design???? Otherwise the Vegas 24.1 COULD be a contender.
I have to agree with you on the Thor Vegas bathroom. That shower is a deal breaker. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
I like ovens in an RV. My Winnie View didn’t have one. After a few years I sold it to my sister.
Did ACE give up and go away? They used to make a 28’ Class a that I thought was killer.
As far as I know Thor still makes the ACE...you can see all of their 2024 models on their website.
You and Ms. Susan make a very cute couple.
Thanks! Susan is cute and I make us a couple. lol!
Thanks!
You are welcome! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Would love to see you open a window to see how much frameless window opens
About 3" - that's it. You have to use your Max Air fan with these windows to force the air flow. But no rain gets in is a good thing about them.
The overhead CPAP idea is maybe not the best. Perfect way to end up with water in your facemask if conditions in the RV cause rainout.
Ok. We don't have personal experience with a CPAP machine but we know RV manufacturers make accommodations for them in bedrooms. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Awesome
So glad you liked the RV tours in this video. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
❤❤❤
Thank you Luvpig! ❤️
I dont like glass shower doors. Those retractable ones are going in my rv when I renovate. I DESPISE the accordion doors!
That's very fair. We like the retractable doors too. Thank you for your input!
How tall are you?
Never mind saw it at the end thanks
LOL! You now know I am 5'11" tall!
I am 5'11" tall.
Thanks for watching!
Mike
That pegboard idea in the outside storage compartment was 100% Stacey’s idea n she installed it too, not Phil 😂. Give the girl some credit eh! 🍻
🤣 I am not surprised that it was Stacy's idea or that she installed it! She has ultimate GIRL POWER! 🦸♀️ Thanks SpykersB!
What if you live in it fulltime amenn
You can definitely live in these motorhomes full time. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Sorry but none of these really had the WOW factor. The Jayco by vote. I'm sure there are others out there. Thanks y'all and safe travels !!
Thank you and you're welcome Darryl! That's fair. We appreciate you watching and supporting us!
I am wondering how reliable they are ? (Coachman )
For example Thor are terrible …..
You need to go fix the link to this video... The current one takes you to the campers with Murphy beds.
I think I fixed it. Thank you so much!🤗
I use my camper for camping. No TV. LOL! I need peace and quiet. As a permanent home maybe, but I only use the internet at home, no tv.
That's fair. It's nice to camp and disconnect from all electronics. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
Definitely need a or 2 tv's in a camper.
LOL! We have three!
My Honey and I do not care for the split beds . We both like to snuggle at night . The rest of these coaches do look good .
Awe...that's how we like to fall asleep too.
It takes a special couple to be able to RV and live in tight quarters.
Thanks for watching and for your comment.
Beautiful RVs but too expensive for me. I prefer no TV when I'm camping. I'd rather listen to music and nature's sounds.
Great advice Erin!
I stream nature videos on my TV. It plays the sounds but also brings the outside in when I’m inside my trailer. Just check UA-cam. You can have beautiful music playing while a waterfall plays in the background. It’s like having a window with the best view.
@@60Airflyte not a bad idea. Thanks for sharing that tip!
Why they don’t have diesel engine? I just can’t imagine how much gasoline it takes..
Diesel and Gas Class A's get about he same gas mileage. I'm not sure I understand your comment. Can you clarify for me please?
Thanks,
Mike
We’ve had gas and diesel and don’t see much fuel cost difference.
we had a 35’ class A with a Ford V10. It ROARED when accelerating and going up hills. We have a MB Sprinter Diesel and don’t get that type of noise. Gas is fine, we just found them loud.
Rv for me is a mobile work area not just camping.
Us too! We work in our RV all the time!
AWESOME, BUT THE
CHEAP FURNITURE FABRIC MATERIAL
SUCKS ‼️
IT IS WHAT, IT IS ‼️
1O FEBRUARY 2024 SAT
Which RV? How do you know what kind of material is used? Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
@@Coolguyjason that makes a lot of sense. Personally I'm happy with a 2 burner and a convection oven but I know a lot of people prefer an oven.
I plan on staying in for mañÿ ÿŕs
You can do that in these motorhomes! 👍
Not so long ago these were $80,000…😂
That would have to be a bit before my time for an MSRP that low. I will say dealerships and RV shows are drastically reducing prices so that's a good sign. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
Not NEAR ENOUGH hanging closet space for the $$$😢
Something always gets sacrificed in a smaller motorhome. Guess it was the closet space in that one. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
It would be nice if you identified the displacement and horsepower of V8
Our RV tour videos focus primarily on the floor plan of an RV and doesn't cover topics like horsepower or gas mileage etc. Our hope is that if someone sees a floor plan they like they can do further research at the manufacturers website. Sorry we don't include that information for you. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Nope. Do not watch much TV, never watch it in bed. :>)
That's great! I think it's better to read before bed anyway. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
I put a computer monitor in my TV spot.
That's a great option. Thank you for offering that suggestion. And thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!
No drawers in the kitchen? Come on!!!!!
IKR! For that amount of money you have to provide utensil drawers! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
We don’t like a tv in the bedroom.
Not everyone likes a TV in the bedroom. Why don't you like a TV in the bedroom?
Thanks,
Mike
@@RVBlogger I have read a lot of studies that show a negative effect on sleep patterns. In my own experience it does change my mental state about shutting down my brain. And it’s one less thing to bump into when I go to the bathroom at night, ;).
@@Factsmatter626 Great answer! I'll have to look into that. Susan and I fall asleep when our TV is on so maybe it affects people differently or we have adapted to it...Thanks for your answer.
Mike
It's a great rv but way over priced and one accident and it's gone
Never pay the MSRP - always negotiate a better deal. Are there other rigs that do better in accidents than these? I think it would take a pretty big accident for your RV to be gone...
FYI, no one says I’m 80 inches tall…..just say it 6 ft 6 inches. Too much math conversions going on 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's fair! I think I need glasses to I can read my tape measure easier! lol!
No drawers? 🤣
