When I buy my RV, can I hire you for week to teach me EVRYTHING???? Loving your channel, thank you!
All you have to do is ask Google she will tell you everything you need to know .That is how my husband and I learnt

To me, the bedroom is way more important than the bath. Would rather have a larger bed with good window ventilation and a skylight and do a wet bath. You spend maybe a half hour all day in the bathroom but eight hours in the bedroom and rest is important. Also a smaller or versatile dinette that doesn’t take up a bunch of room. Don’t like the corner beds next to a bathroom wall when you could have space and a window instead.

Great point thanks for sharing!

Same. To me the dinettes are a waste of seating area..I'd rather have couches for seating and eating if needed. A step in shower would be nice.
Love Class C’s and hate slide outs. These are perfect. But those prices! Not cheap.

What is any more?
I love these smaller class C's but those corner beds are just not an option for me so if I were picking one I'd have to go with the coachman. I also really like the idea of that RV because I could easily take along my power scooter and wheelchair which are necessary for me being disabled. The bathrooms are decent sized in all of them and I think they've all done a good job of maximizing storage space. I also like the way the Coachman did the dinette as it looks more like a living room if you were to put the table down you could almost use it more like a sofa. I think it would be more comfortable and functional at least for me. Thanks guys!
I agree. I have a son with a wheelchair. If it were possible to add more D rings behind the driver's chair, it would be great.

Great review...I agree with no slide outs...it's almost always ending up as a problem, added cost and weight. I'd rather have no bed room, sleep in the over cab and not need a slide out.
Great perspective! It's what works best for you. Thanks eckankar!
Love the videos. As a plumber I cringe when I hear "with separate sprayer." It is an integrated sprayer. My dad died two weeks ago so I may be being nitpicky. I get that from him. But I do love your videos! What I mean by that is videos that are not RV's that are $150,,000 to $500,000. Just some love from an average Joe.
Hi 77Infidel,
Sorry to hear about your Dad...I have picked up many of my Dad's habits too. I lost him over 10 years ago but I still think about him every day. I'll try to change to an integrated sprayer...lol! Thanks for watching and I am glad you like the videos.
Mike
@@RVBlogger thank you sir for your kind words. In all honesty you can call that sprayer whatever you want to, I'm still watching the videos. Take care and thanks again for reaching out.
So sorry for the greatest loss a son ever gets.. Pull up some courage and keep his dreams alive... Build on what he taught and what you learnt from him... I too lost my father 12 years ago..
@@SGudur Thank you very much!
I hear you. My Class A cost $2,300.....okay, it was 30+ years old.
I like the L shape dinette and fold up bed on the leprachan.
It is definitely a great floor plan. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The Thor Chateau would work well for a Solo Traveler who has guests spend the night. I like it!
That's a good point. That bed is what I would call a "slim queen" 🤣.Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!

Hadn’t seen the L-shape dinette until that Coachman. Anything that gives the driver more room or comfort I am all for.
Agree! We thought that was a great design feature. Love when they listen to their customers! Thank you for watching our RV tour videos and commenting. We appreciate your support!
We have the Coachman Freelander 22XG, a close cousin of the Leprechaun. I like the arrangement of the dinette and the extra room for the driver seat. We LOVE the back door. It makes for easier access to make up the bed, allows for easy access to storage under the bed, and some nice breezes. I was also able to fold the bed up and carry 16 foot sections of decking.
That's awesome. Thank you for sharing your experience with your Freelander. We think it's a genius floor plan! Enjoy and safe travels! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!

When looking for a new camper I sent at least a dozen emails stating what I wanted. No slide outs, no hybrid's, no more then 4000 LB. and no bunkhouses! And the only reply's I got was from company's and people selling what I had no interest in buying.
Try El Monte RV or Cruise America.
I would agree, if I was a newb and had no idea what type camper I should buy. I've been camping for over 50 years and knew exactly what I could afford, and what I was looking for. I got lucky and found 2017, Coachman 17FB loaded with everything to go camping that had only been slept in for one weekend for almost $5000.00 less then the book value.
No more than 4000 lbs? I'm confused.

They should make Murphy bed like the LTV, where you can use it as a sofa/seats as well

Love your videos a lot! Well done! Do you do any B class? We are in Australia and have a very nice Class B that is only 6m (19 ft) long but has everything that we would want. I have looked at UK Class B’s and they have huge dinette that takes up 60% of the MHome. Ours is much better balanced. What are the US ones like?
Most US class Bs suck, imo.
@@ericalampley480 just saw a video of a Class B in US and it wasn’t very good at all, dark and odd.

I like them all, but NOT the corner beds. I would not like them at all. As for the prices, not very beginner prices for me, but I'm not familiar with pricing, either. Thanks for showing these.
I know couples buy these, but I'm single and there are more of us. I have had two trailers and have cut the queen to a single and added a work space and more storage and looks like I'll still need to do as I'm thinking class C. Would love a ceiling bed that lowers and a ceiling TV that can drop down and point in any direction, also allowing more wall space.

What is the difference between Four Winds 22e and the Chateau 22e? Also, with that corner cut mattress, how do you find sheets to fit?
The floor plans of the two are the same. In 2010 Thor purchased Four Winds International so maybe they decided to keep name recognition. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I would get those "sleeping bags" that sleep two (or one).
my neighbor bought a new 6237LE in November 2022 for $75K
That's awesome! No one should ever pay MSRP. We've seen prices drastically reduced at RV Shows too! Thanks for watching our RV tour and commenting Timi!
I've been wanting the Coachman Crosstrail 22xg. I didn't know the coachman leprechaun looked almost identical? I'm trying to figure out the differences.
Hey Debbie,
We recommend checking out the manufacturer's website for anything we didn't cover in our videos to assure you get the most accurate info :) they may also have a better comparison than we can. Best of luck!

I have looked at those also, but it's been a while. Are they built on the same chassis? Maybe that is the difference. Love the multi-use bed cargo area on those models!
We have the Coachman Freelander 22XG, a close cousin of the Leprechaun. From the video, they look identical.
You probably won’t see this question but have you in your travels seen a class C bunkhouse model with no slides
Unfortunately we are seeing fewer RVs without slides. It's pretty rare to see any RV under 25' (TT or motorhome) with no slide outs but we'll keep a look out for one. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting.
Hi. I am just starting to investigate RVS to see what I want. Can you please tell me our classes finance like cars like for five years or seven years or they finance like trailers for like 15 years thanks so much
I think you can get very long loans on RVs. Like with mobile homes.
Hey Kimberly,
Great question! Not sure, you may have to contact a bank or depending where you're purchasing from. There's many factors. :)

RV lenders will typically go up to 15 or 20 year loans. Caution: I wouldn't finance an RV that I couldn't afford the payments on a 7 to 10 year loan. If you buy new, best to have a large down payment (20% or more). In the event that you don't like RVing and want to sell within 1 to 2 years, you won't owe more than it's worth and end up writing a check to payoff your loan. Strongly consider buying a 3 year old or older RV so that the original owner has taken most of depreciation not you.
@@patrickio8084 Great answer Patrick!
I just created an Excel spreadsheet to compare loan payment amortization with depreciating value and depending on who's depreciation figures you use, how well-maintained your motorhome is, where you live and what time of year you try to sell it, 20% down on a 15 year loan should provide a small amount of equity ($3K to $6K) for the 1st 6 years of ownership then jumping up to almost $9K in year 7 then building to a peak in year 15 when the loan is paid off. This was based on $100K price with $20K down and a loan of $80K.
Not trying to be negative or nothing like that, but i noticed in all of ya videos you dont show the other side of the wall where the foot of the bed is. A lot of times i was curious as to is there any outlets or hookups on that side of the wall for a tv.
Hi Dexter. Usually if there is something of value on that wall Mike will mention it and I will add video. We definitely try to improve our tours by pointing out all outlets, charging ports etc. Some of our older videos may lack some of those details. Thanks for watching and commenting Dexter!
Since when is not wanting or having slide outs imply you are a beginner?
Many new RV owners prefer not dealing with the hassle of slide outs. Nothing personal. Thanks for watching our tour video and commenting Paul.
Well you dining room table isn't very sturdy. It was wiggling a lot every time you put any weight on it.
If a dining table only has one pole it can be a littly wobbly. Thanks for watching and commenting Kevin!
@@RVBlogger Actually, I was hoping you would do a video about how to fix it.
Since these RVs are really only used in the summer, I want to know more about ventilation fans and AC than storage cabinets.
Not everyone uses their motorhome just during summer months. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Where'd you get that idea? Many people RV year round.
We have the Coachman Freelander 22XG, a close cousin of the Leprechaun and use it year round. I have never had it out in weather below 10 degrees F but it works well in the 20's & teens. We either use the built-in propane furnace or a much quieter 1500 watt electric heater. AND the AC works very well.
Watch out for those Thor RVs they have terrible customer service, and they build lemons!
