I must admit that I am working my way through two of Charlotte Tilbury's Eyes to Mesmerize pots (Oyster Pearl and Champagne) so I won't be trying the LE Liquid Lurex formula just yet (much as I'd like to). Having two cream shadows is enough for me compounded with a number of eye shadow palettes. I trust LE will continue to have these eye shadows if she's expanded on the colours as she has.... very pretty look. All three colours looked beautiful on your eyes.
Thank you so much for watching. It's been a long time since I've had one of Charlotte's eyes to mesmerize. I think I had the shade Marie Antoinette. I like Charlotte's formula a lot. It really reminds me of the Tom Ford cream shadow. These are a little different in texture. They are a little bit drier to begin with, and you have to blend one eye at a time. I really like the way they sparkle, and I love how they wear all day long without any fallout. Stay strong, and don't purchase when you already have beautiful cream products in your collection.
Thank you so much. These shadows are so easy to use, I love that comes through in the demo. Viola is the one that will take a bit more time for me to blend because it great a darker base. That's ok, it's such a lovely shade. Thanks for watching!
I purchased Titania and Viola, but they have not arrived yet. I also finally bought the purple one, as I am hoping it will look great with my hazel eyes. My Liquid Lurex wardrobe is slowly growing...and I was VERY hesitant about these at first being over 50, but they luckily do not enhance texture on the lids! I just love your reviews, especially for Lisa Eldridge products. We share this passion and I love that there is someone 40+ out there adoring her products as much as me. Most reviews are of much younger ladies.
Lisa's brand is one of my favorites. Every time she releases something new, expect me to pick up at least part of the new release. I've been feeling very naughty recently because I've been getting everything. 🤣 I love that Lisa is creating eyeshadows that don't add additional texture to my eyelids. These liquid lurex are beautiful, and super easy to use. Same with her palettes. They are a fabulous addition to my collection. I hope you enjoy your new Liquid Lurex shades!
@@thelipstickgal I felt the same way about her eye shadow palette release. I somehow knew that only Lisa was able to "re-invent" eye shadows and she did not disappoint. It was a hefty plunge, but I do not regret it! I am almost sure Viola and Titania will sell out fast, just like the dark brown one did. I so wish that would come back.
@@sonjadonovan2016 I hope she restocks the colors you're interested in picking up, and that you'll be able to grab the shades you're most interested in. I'm wearing Cressida today for work, but it was an easy and fast look.
Cressida is what I'm going to be wearing today if I get ready for work. I loved how easy it was to blend, and how pretty it looked with liner and mascara. I really like this formula, and I love the variety of shades Lisa has created.
I've been using this formula so much recently too and I love it. I have Emily, Bianca, and Anjelica and I love all three. I ordered Cressida and Viola from this collection! My order shipped so I should get them soon. I'd like to get Zora too but it's sold out right now.
I love Emily, Bianca and Anjelica. They're some of my most used shades. I love how quickly I can get a glamourous look with just one easy to blend eyeshadow. That's my favorite thing about these. I hope you get good use out of Cressida and Viola. I love Zora, but I'm sad it's still out of stock.
I love these new releases. They fit in perfectly with the other colors she's released. I will most likely get all three. My favorite of her other shades are Emily and Anjelica. I saw KateFace on UA-cam talk about how she uses the Liquid Lurex as a base then adds other shadows on top. She did an example with a Liquid Lurex and one of the new LE Eyeshadow palettes. I have not tried that yet, but curious if you've tried it that way.
I haven't used these as a base yet. I usually use them topped over a powder shadow, or as a standalone. It makes sense that they would be fantastic as a base. They last so well. Emily and Angelica are two of my most used shades, but I'm glad I picked all of these up. I have just over half of the liquid lurex. I'm trying to stick to shades that I know I'll use
Thanks! I was particularly interetsed in Viola but worried about it on my fair skin, too. Not sure yet if I am going to pick it up. These LE liquid shadows are the only liquid ones I like and own, and I regularly wear Bianca and Emily.
Emily and Bianca are the two I reach for the most. I love the rest, but those are my easy, one and done shadows. I'll have to be careful blending Viola. That's ok, it's beautiful.
Yes yes yes !!! I will buy those Shades soon. 😍 Chic neutrals everyday for me. I still haven't tried this formula. But First I must finish 2 liquid or cream eyeshadows already in my collection and be a good girl... One down today, one to go. Maybe done for Christmas ? Monday is my day off, so I'm glad these arrived yesterday. Otherwise this video wouldn't have made it up until the weekend.
I have Bianca, Liza, Emily and Maya. And what I don't expected was that I love Maya the most! It makes my greenish- blueish eyes really bright! ( Maya was a gamble for me, I normally don't go for shades that are apricot in tone, but I feel there is just enough pink in it to make it just excellent for my cool undertone in my skin) I tempted to pick up the light shade you showed in this video and the shade Anais that I didn't got last time. I have not so many problems with longevity of cream eyeshadows. I hate creams in pots so I never tried any of those. But I love the new RMS ones in the tiny tubes. ( I have shade Strobe). These have no glitter particles, but they give a foiled look without actual glitter. And I love the armani eye tints. I love that formula even more than the LE LL. For now I didn't own any eyetints anymore. After I jused up the shade 8 I believe, I didn't repurchased ( just because I have the Lisa Eldridge ones now, I want to make sure that I juse those) Lisa create better shades in terms of color.
There are so many formulas of liquid/cream shadows that I have never tried. For the longest time, I just didn't think they were for me. (I tried a few without success) I'm really curious to try the ones from RMS and Armani. They sound intriguing. I love a long lasting and beautiful one-and-done shadow. Thanks so much for the recommendation. You're not the first to suggest the RMS Eyelights. Those need to go on my list of potential purchases for the new year. I really enjoy this formula, and will probably continue to pick up a few when Lisa releases new shades. I think that the pearl and gold shades will be my favorites this time around. Thanks so much for watching.
I wore Titania today and I’m just realizing i forgot to try it with Cressida in the inner corner lol. I do my eyes first so by the time i came back to it i grabbed my usual Mac nylon. I’m going to try Cressida tomorrow for a really soft wash with liner. Titania was stunning! I wore it over Vieve cocoa shadow stick for a brown base with Mac uninterrupted to make it a bit grungy. Also paired with sorcery. 👌
I've been loving Titania. I've been reaching for it a lot. I've been using Cressida a lot for an inner corner highlight. I really enjoy using these. They're so beautiful. Thanks for watching. I'm glad to know you're enjoying yours a lot.
I know Lisa's brand is expensive. It's not something you can rush out and get all of. I think that these are fabulous if you like a one and none eyeshadow. They also layer beautifully over the top of powders, and I can see myself using this lightest Pearl shade as inner corner highlight on the regular. Thanks for watching, and have a great week.
Zora has been a complete surprise. I was worried it would be too dark, but I love wearing it! It's surprisingly easy to blend despite being darker on my fair skin. I really love these. Thanks for watching.
I've been intrigued by these, haven't bought any yet because I actually don't wear very much eyeshadow. But I do like an inner corner highlight so I might add Cressida to my list. Do you think any of her liquid highlighters would give a similar effect? I prefer to get multitasking products whenever I can 💜. Great video.
I really love the Elevated Glow. I have 3 of them. It's a much more hydrating / emollient product than the Liquid Lurex. Getting it close to powder shadows might actually disturb what you already have down. 🤷♀️ I've never actually tried it before, but I would be worried to mess up a nearly finished eye look. It is a beautiful highlight. I use the Elevated Glow to prime my skin, as well as topping a look with it is highlight. I've never thought to try and tap it in the inner corner.

@thelipstickgal yes it's the 2nd colab with StarWars but the 1st one you can't get it any more, it sold out in less than an hour 😬 I was very lucky that time, let's see this time 😁 I use all her shades, but this time not gonna get the full collection like the 1st time... All 3 shades look so so gorgeous. But I already own the RMS Eyelights in Spark and Flare. Spark looks a lot like Viola, and even though Flare might look a lot like Titania, I am still tempted to pick that one up because it looks more sparkly than Flare. The Eyelights have a metalic finish and I use them for work and enjoy them very much.
I've been tempted to pick up the RMS Eyelights. I love the metal tube with the turn key packaging. So luxe! Thanks for the recommendation. I'll take a look.
I don’t have any yet, but I want most of them! Your collection are the exact ones I keep eyeing. Titania is stunning. I really love an old gold, and this one is just fabulous. Emily is my easy one and done eyeshadow. I reach for it constantly, especially on work days. Zora was a complete surprise. I picked it up expecting to only use it as eyeliner, but I loved it tapped out on the lid. I have to be a little bit more careful with Zora and Viola because they have a dark base. It can look a little messy if I'm not careful when I'm applying it. I find that a clean brush helps me buff those edges perfectly.
@@thelipstickgal I can imagine that Titania all over and Liza at the outer corner, to give dimensions is a good combo, as much as Emily all over with Zora at the outer corner (just a bit), is also a good combo. I can't think the best combination for the other shades, unless Anais with Zora or Liza as a combo. I would imagine Viola plays better solo, not that any of these really need supporting shades but, as you mentioned, Viola already has a dark base for itself so I cannot think what to pair it with. Zora and Liza don't even seem dark enough.
@@bruninhamrso I don't have Liza. I keep meaning to pick it up, and forgetting to add it to cart. 🤦♀️ It's one I would probably only use in the outer corner, or as eyeliner. But the idea of sparkling black eyeliner is almost too delicious to pass up. Viola is most definitely a standalone shade. I could try it with some dark eyeshadows and top it with Viola. I've tried on Anais and Zora together, and they're not my favorite. There's a little bit more gold in Anais, and the cool silver sparkle in Zora just seem to fight in an unattractive way. Maybe somebody else can get it to work, but it's not a combo I'll try again.
@@thelipstickgal thank you for this information. You are probably right Anais and Zora wouldn't match because they have different speakers. I will keep that in mind.
I am waiting for my first lurex eyeshadows, being them Titania, Anais and Liza. Whenever Emily and Zora are back in stock, I will go for them.
Thank you again for showing these off...always helpful 😍. This time for a change you actually change my mind of not getting Viola 🤣 ..was thinking about it, but now thanks to you I see is just too dar, so thank you for saving me 23 euros 🥰
I'm glad that seeing these helped you decide which ones to pick up. I'm all about having a useable makeup collection. I don't want you to purchase something you won't use. Thankfully I have a beauty budget so I can do these reviews. Thanks for watching!
Hooow did you get these so fast? I ordered Titania (& the Myth palette) the minute the new shades dropped (literally) & they haven't even shipped yet :'( I'm so disappointed as I keep seeing the orders pop up everywhere now. That being said, I love Cressida on you & I might need to splurge on that one day :D
I paid for expedited shipping. 😳 An extra $20 to get this video up on youtube sooner than later. If I wasn't recording videos for youtube, I would not pay for expedited shipping.
When I first started purchasing from Lisa, not as many people were making purchases, and everything shipped out within a day or two of launch. That's changed. Her brand has grown so much, and so many people get excited about it. I know there's a warehouse here in the US, and one in England. With so many orders to fulfill, shipping takes a while. Don't worry, your new goodies will arrive soon.
I hope you enjoy Titania and the Myth palette. Thanks so much for making time to watch today.
@@thelipstickgal Haha, thanks for the kind reply ♡ Fully understand that they must be awfully busy these days. On the other hand it's great to see videos like yours beforehand as it gets up the excitement even more!
Hi Lipstick Gal, The eyeshadows are very pretty. Just want to know if you are using an eyeshadow base. I am on the hunt for a good one but so far no luck. I was using Mac Painterly as a base but then it really changes the color of the eyeshadow. Let us know your fave eye base if you have one. I don't have anything yet from Lisa. These shadows remind me of the Stila liquid shadows I already have. Thanks.
I use the Milani eyeshadow primer. It's the only one I've used in the past 3 years. I normally don't use primer in my lids, but when I need one I reach for Milani.
