I've done like these to my W212: 4 high output speaker wires from HK amp to JL audio lci7, 2 channels output from JL Lci7 to Stetsom STX 2448 DSP, 4 channels output (FL, FR, RL, RR) from Stetsom STX 2448 to 4 channels AMP. For the subwoofer, I still use the OEM dual 4 ohm voice coil sub, connect them to 2 ohm, then use sub signal, remote power wire from the oulet under the back deck inside the trunk to a mono AMP to power the the sub. It sounds very good to me. Howerver, I still think there is another better way by using the MOST fiber optic from the head unit, and convert it to analog RCA signals, better but very expensive.
