I just bought the GSW large backpack transport. Can't wait! Was great to see you assemble this. You've probably made things less difficult for me

Great to hear. Have fun with that transport box. I've been using it for the past few weeks and can't be happier. Let me know how you like it then.

Just buy the Jucoci miniatures storage case. The trays are already metal and work with magnetized bases and the assembly takes 2 minutes.

I just looked them up, never heard of them before, but I think the solutions are not equal. These come, as the one from GSW, with a metal/metallic rubber sheet. So you can adhese magnetized Minis on them directly. But not fully assembled as a unit, on a magnetized movement tray. But you could make the same adjustment with that product of course. Still doesn't come like that "as is". At least not the ones available to me in my country, also it's more expensive here.

But then you have two another problems :) their cases are really ugly. And they cost more then double then this one.

Nice presentation. That works for regular transport to and from local gaming but I am sure if there is any long distance travel where your models are in the care of baggage handlers, for example, those magnets wont cut it.

Thank you. And you are absolutely correct. If you go by car, bus or walk to your game, this will do. If I'd ever fly with my army somewhere I would still use my hard shell bag and the foam trays.

I mean you already showed it to me IRL but I still hate you that you make me buy new hobby stuff all the time

I am actually working on such a video. I have already filmed all the footage that I need. I technically filmed when I got my old army out of the basement and completely overhauled and refurbished it for The Old World. I take a look at every unit that I have in that. It might take 3-4 weeks though until that video is out.

Great videos! Really good production quality! I magnetised my armies some time ago but have been dragging my feet to make the new movement trays. Is it possible to make the magnetic sheet you used for the case at the bottom of the movement trays? (or is it magnetically directional?) Want to avoid redoing my movement boxes as well! Thank you!

Thank you that makes me quite happy! So to answer your question: Those rubber magnetic sheets are quite a bit odd when it comes to how magnets work. Basically, yes. You can use them as the bottom part of your movement trays. I personally use the metallic rubber sheets and they have much better properties than plastic bottom parts (slightly heavier, don't easily slip on hills etc). Depending on what you used to magnetize your army it will work. It works like this (little bit tl:dr): Magnetic rubber sheets perfectly adhere to themselves, they are not directional. You can also stack many layers. So if you used some of those base sized magnetic rubber sheets under your base to magnetize your minis, it will work perfectly. (This is how we magnetized 10 years ago before the widespread availability of neodymium magnets). Neodymium magnets though, do stick to the magnetic sheets, but the adhesion is very very light. And of course magnetic sheets do stick to the metal rubber sheets or good old metal plates. Hope that helps, if the answer is confusing just ask again and let me know what you used to magnetise your Army and we'll find the perfect bottom part.

Is there a US distributor? Would order but for shipping.

Unfortunately I don't know. I've found a distributor of Green Stuff World in the US but they don't seem to have the Army Transport Box. But maybe you can drop them an email and ask if they would order one. They might if they get a regular shipment anyway. eu.nobleknight.com/Publisher/Green-Stuff-World/All
