The MoYu-Gan Turning Feel Spectrum is a great idea. I do like the turning feel of some GAN cubes but prefer MoYu cubes overall so I'm excited to try the WeiLong V9.
Where would the wrm 2021 maglev with core magnets fall on the spectrum? That’s my main and I like the feel of it a lot, even more than “better” cubes like the tornado. Which do you think I would prefer?

Here's the thing The Weilong was one of the first original cubes with the v1 being the second ever Moyu release after the Huanying which was moyu's first cube. My magic clothes came in today. Awesome cube. Didn't even adjust it. Not a speed cuber (i.e., takes me between 45s and 1 minute to solve since I'm too old to memorize the color locations for the cube; lol). Best $27 (after tax) I paid for a cube that is for sure. lol Maybe one day I'll start playing with adjustments but coming from a stiff Rephael Magic Puzzle Cube (2014) and even stiffer Rubik's official cube (2019); both stickerless, I like the strong magnet yet slick as butter feel of this cube. Co-worker recently purchased a GAN356 (maybe a little cheaper than my cube since it was, at that time, on sale) but it's way too slick for me. My bet is a speed cuber likes frictionless motion, but not me. :)

I definitely agree, the Weilong V9 does feel a little like a gan. I think I would put it a little more on the moyu side than the gan side though.

The WeiLong v9 isn't good for 3-style just because of its turning feel. It doesn't lock up like GAN cubes do, though

My wrm v9 aftwr setup feel like big mgc cube
How do they compare to the V-Cube 3? Not really a big fan of magnets and the V-Cube 3 really fits my wrist only turning style
