Railway lines are not only legendary carriers of myths, people and machines. They are also the proof of high engineering skills and witnesses to the indomitable will of humankind to open up new routes into the unknown in order to conquer nature and its treasures. This railway like - Train to the clouds must cover one of the loneliest areas on Earth. Anyone ever traveled this line? If so, please share in the comments. It must be wild.
For American viewers 32:00 talking about altitude sickness, 4000 m is 13,123 ft elevation, whilest 3000 meters up above sea level is 9,842 feet. Where US cities like Leadville CO are similar elevation.

Another of an Extraordinay documentary from the highly professional Team of Free Documentary who venture into the unknown territories to bring us such wonderful material like people means of unbelievable travel by train and others in such altitudes by your on such locations. Thanks immensely for this beautiful documentary from Free Documentary. Thanks and best regards
This is indeed one of the best and most entertainment channels in these days! The narrative, the information contents, the pictures, the editing, the interviews, the inside stories, the history, and the productions are all topnotch and full of excitements! Keep up the excellent work!
Best documentary channel.... I am from Sri Lanka and enjoy every bit of your documentaries...learned lot about world, countries and cultures......Thank you very much
Best channel I've found in a long time. Great documentaries. I have gym at 4am and it's 11pm here in New Zealand but I can't stop watching lol. Thank you so much
I really enjoy these documentaries, deadliest trains, deadliest roads. They show some beautiful scenery, friendly people, and I get to travel the world while sitting at my home. I would love to visit this area!
We wanted to book this 24hr adventure with this train some years ago when we were visiting Argentina and were told it does not run anymore which was a real disapintment for us. 😢 It sounds so wonderful as an adventure. ❤
Amazing documentary with incredible narration. Lady narrator is awesome in this documentary.😊 thanks a lot for entire team who involve to make this incredible documentary.🙏 I'm yubraj.all the way from nepal.🇳🇵
Interesting/informative/entertaining. Video crew did a professional job. Excellent still -motion photography pictures 📷 form when early rail 🚆 transportation system were being constructed. Interesting scenery/stories along different 🚆 routes.
Everyone old wishes for the "old times" to come back. I'm 35 and I wish it could be the 90s again. Everyone on this planet needs to realise nothing will ever be like old times. We need to move forward :D
At the 1:29-32 time frame is that a huge snake in the lower right hand corner? Hard to tell so please correct me if you know. Great documentary on parts of the world we rarely hear about. Both enjoyable and educational......now about that snake.
there are newer chinese locomotives in Argentina, but they proved unreliable in these altitudes, they couldnt make the climb and they broke down over and over. the General Motors EMD engines are old but powerful and trustwhorty
To argentina goverment, please let the train go on this remote places, there still people rely on that train, or atleast give them some place where they can make thier crops to the nearist city so that they can sell it easy
I few sorry for that poor lady who threw all that food away "for the gods", which lets be honest here doesn't have any effect whatsoever. She could instead keep that food.
19:05 Oh, brother. Yep. That'll do er. We all have different cultures and traditions, but I was just struck by the funny idea of someone stumbling upon this scene in a very different part of the world. One might think they were witnessing a schizophrenic woman, spreading her trash bin about while burying last week's leftovers. It takes all kinds, as they say.
They need to quit shipping, hazardous materials, including oil, and gas on trains, build more pipelines. They are ways, way safer, environmentally, and physically.
Dear Person That's Reading This You May Be Goin Through Something But God Got U He Didn’t Bring You This Far To Quit.We Don’t Know Each Other But I Wish U All The Best In Life 2020 And Beyond.🇧🇸❤️
I'm okay👍🏼 just stop the video and go pee before the bridge👁 reckon those railway riders that use a 3.5hp belt drive rail cart would love that run. I could live there,,supplies every couple weeks no problem,,someone with million$ could make several Short Line runs from Station to Station. a newer drive method on a shorter run would be safer and provide the Locals with more opportunities even if it's only a few.🙏🏼🌮

I don't get it, what's dangerous about a railway track that's not in use by trains? I watched 30 minutes of the video and there was less than one minute of actual train travel. Won't recommend it if you're expecting a running train in a documentary about trains.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
increíble es salta / jujuy purmamarca. Otro mundo. Been there twice. Once by motorcycle once by car with my family. lf y'all wanna know remote and otherworldly destinations, you visit this region. Saludos desde paraguay!!

It's a belief nothing will wasted
You are so clueless
50 thousand tourists pay 70 euros to travel on the train each year. That's 3.5 million , but they cannot afford to buy a new locomotive ?
Argentina bro you would never understand it jajajajja
Since 1977 they polluting the clouds with diesel fumes maybe they can put in a electric engine.
@jeremiahcummins8896 second hand locos not so expensive.
Of course not. Wouldn’t want to lose any profit for the few who get it.
Because if that was the point might as well ride the Amtrak at home. It's history relive it and experience
Anyone know where to find the music from this documentary? It's so good
Really i like her prayer 🙏
0:23 that’s scary 😧
It's Argentina, not 'Argentinia' - sorry Free Doc., but it seems like a mistake.
Might be how the people that live there say it in their form of spanish. IDK. But I do see what you're saying.

I guess you've never seen Indian or Bangladeshi trains that are waaaaaaayyyy overloaded going thru crowded cities and markets.
