Another great video Steve 👍🏻 glad the channels doing well! I think it’s your down to Earth attitude that keeps us watching, it’s refreshing to see. And the places you get to, shows us how easy it is to escape the mundane. All the best mate, look forward to the next one
Bikes and beers go together dont they? 😂 Awesome video, new to your channel so i think I'll bing watch. Bikes, beers and campervans. Right up my street! Keep it up
Just a bit late for the weather Steve , I was I that part of the world for my holidays when you were putting out your lake district videos in July . Weather only turned on Saturday past up here in the Highlands, been a great summer. Good you still make the effort on the bike , easier in the van ...
Well done mate cracking little video. There is nothing wrong with creature comforts for us old farts. Just done a South tour camping with the motourev channel I still enjoy the camping but also have a caravan for the wife.keep the video coming mate Gordon.👍
Hi Steve. Love it when the bell goes You know your in for a good video. And you don't Disapoint. Shame about the midges. But that's the time Of year. I watch because you keep it real. no bull.. Thank you for sharing mate. Looking forward to Your next one. Ride safe. Old dave.
Great video followed u for ages and your video is still relaxing and cool, for some reason ive not been getting notifications so ive pressed the bell again, take care....
Great spot, I was there about 2 months back camped 10 yards up from where you were, talking about mishaps I blew a fork seal on my 1050 tiger doing that forest road
Just got back last week from Fisherfield Steve, great weather but a billion of those nasty flying devil flies. I have walked into the Fisherfield area from a spot called Corrie Hallie not far from Dundonell House, in the Winter, nice walk over some high areas. Or on this recent trip from a spot called Inchina, a decent gravel track used by fly fishermen/women that fish at Loch na Sealga. Great area and very remote the more you push in. Have vids on my channel if you want a recce of both areas. Think people follow you and enjoy your vids because you come across as a genuine guy with a sense of humour which people warm to. Take care my friend. Atb Bill
Really enjoyed that thanyou, I watch about 10 wild capers on UA-cam and every one of them has one thing in common including your channel....the person/persons making them are top people so cheers marra and stay safe 🏕👌
Another great vid Steve! Looking forward to the van trip in Scotland. Me the wife and kids went to Scotland the other week in the van and loved every minute of it. Enjoy and stay safe 👍
Nice video Steve. Always fun trying to work out where you are camping.... I found it..... and popped it on the list for possible overnighters in the future.
No thanks, on your coffin style tent Steve, I'll stick with my pop-up tent in Snowdonia lol. I'm off to the lakes and maybe end up in Scotland for a wild camp on the way back down, next week. Hopefully there won't be too many others about or midges. I'm not a mad axeman, but my mate is, he rides a Harley lol. Nothing ever goes to plan for us, we always end up buying something, on the road.
I love this channel Steve, my only complaints is there’s not enough videos and the fact you now ride a bloody GS! Lol Unfortunately trying to be camp in a quite area in the UK is a thing of the past, 70 million plus on this poxy little island has put pay to that..
Your videos are are great Steve and fill the gaps between me actually getting out and riding/camping myself. I am still yet to do a wild camp or solo camp as always end up with a few mates tagging along. Please keep the videos coming as they help to keep us motivated and inspired 👍
Hi Steve. Something for your little camping van. I have been looking at Kedar or awning strip along with a tarp thats got the 6mm piping sewn in. Make a great tarp set up for tha little van. S+S do some stuff but its mainly aimed at vw t vans. Atwools is another supplier. Have a look mate.
Had an awesome time up that way back in the July heatwave. My daughter and I Hammock camped in the trees just behind the white pointy tent you can see on the drone footage at the opposite end to where you camped. The whole area is fantastic, only stopped there cos the other waterside location i've seen in your videos was taken, but so glad we did. We stayed for 2 nights. But before we even got there I crushed my leg when my DRZ400sm fell onto me while dismounting to help my daughter turn her cb650r when we went down a track which dead ended at a water crossing. we carried on checking out the forest trails even on the other side of the river too which ended in a moving dismount :)) for me and a bit of gravel rash on my side, when we finally settled on that spot my daughter realised she had a puncture on the rear tyre. It too late to mess about that night so i went on a 6am mission to find a garage and get some emergency tire foam, filled the tire and headed off up to Ayr to get the tire fixed properly, when we stopped for an air top up at a petrol station a kind AA man put a plug in the tyre just for a cold can of irn-bru that didn't last though, the plug went inside the tyre after 20 mins and cos the tyre had been reamed for the plug the tyre wouldn't hold air at all, luckily a biker traveling the other way noticed the flat tyre and turned around and gave us the number for his mates at Ayr motorcycles, they rescued us on the understanding that they were too busy to fix the puncture but would lend me the tools to do it myself, however when they got the bike out of the van they set about fixing it for us and we were back on the road in no time and onto some awesome roads. All part of the adventure though and we loved every minute. i was inspired to get into the wild camping and checkout Galloway after watching your Videos. so thanks Steve keep up the great work. Were over in Preston and head up that way on the A6 to Milnthorpe head through Windermere over Kirkstone pass and follow the road along Ullswater up to Penrith re join the A6 and take it to Carlisle then onto Gretna and the rest.
Thanks for the great comment sounds like you had an epic adventure it’s all part of the learning curve of what to take I suppose. Life’s rich Tapestry and all that. So glad my Vids inspired you always great to hear that. ATVB Steve 😀👍
Heyup buddy, hope this comment finds you well👍. We're planning on doing the W.H.W. In April this year, wish us luck🤷♂️. Have you any plans for a bit of a walk? Love the channel old chap😆👏
Sounds brilliant would love to do that, not sure the old knee is up to it tho. 😂 seriously have discussed doing it with some friends but everyone has something on the go this year, property moves, new jobs etc. So my big plan this year is to ride to Norway 🇳🇴 on the bike. End of May June. I was going to mention it on my next Vid. Enjoy your walk all the very best to you too Old Chap 😃👍
I just come back from dartmoor,i was sitting siping some gin, then out of nowere millions of the little ba@@@ards come out and started eating me,yep tried hairspray and lighter, managed to get about 12k of them, but more came.love video stay safe debs..
Hi Steve, you sold me my 1200 explorer back in your Youles days and I wondered how you like the GS850, do you feel a lack of power when touring??? I’m thinking of the same move so appreciate your thoughts 👍. Thanks Steve
Hi Steve I thoroughly recommend the GS850 had a few touring trips on it but not enough. The Explorer was a great bike but a bit of a lump. This bike doesn’t feel underpowered and if you get the adventure sport rallye it’s packed full of great features. I’m off to Norway on it end of May so watch this space for the vid in June. ATB Steve 😃👍
Rivers and conifers - perfect recipe for the Scottish midge

The Midges!! Watching made me swipe away imaginary midges at my kitchen table..
😂🤣 yes they can be troublesome little blighters at times. Think it boils down to individual tolerance levels 👍

Wehey Steve's back
Nice vid Steve, nice midji challenge.....you passed lol. Keep us entertained mate, thanks
Hi Steve, I really enjoy your motorcycle wild camps. I'm looking forward to seeing more, hopefully soon 😂 👍🏻
Great video. Next time I recommend you take a bottle of ‘Avon - Skin So Soft’ with you. Midges hate it.
Thanks Michael have used it before and even concocted my own formulas if there out in force nothing really stops em. Thanks for watching 😃👍
Bro looks amazing ☺️ you deserve a beer 🍻 if your only having 1

They did get in the way at times. But I soldiered on 😂👍
Well done on putting up with the midges!
In a couple of months they will be gone 🥳
The only difference is you need a warmer bag 😉
This is very true. To be honest I quite like wild camping in the winter adds a whole new dimension to it 😃👍
Another brilliant video Steve, loving all the videos you do my friend. 👍
Thanks Kieron much appreciated 👍

Thanks Gary yes they were a bit troublesome, but I have had worse 👍
Nice video again Steve, good to see you out and about on the bike. That is a nice spot, I have pitched up there a couple of times myself.
It is a good spot I originally was going to go to clatterinshaws loch but too many people about. And others I knew had been blocked.
No tin sausages today then, another great video Steve
