Been a few years since this video, do you still pay attention to comments? Have done all mods for my s4 except porting blower and Water/Meth and really curious how WM is. I only have access to 91 octane here and would be partially using it to use the 100/104 tune so am curious if you ever had any probs where yours stopped spraying when at WOT. Was it hassle free or should I pass and be happy with how fast it is on 91?
I don’t have the an B8 anymore , i sold it last year and got my myself into a G80. As for meth , I never had a problem and the car loved it . I used meth just as a fuel and knock suppression. No add Hp really but just got everything out of the tune it self . I don’t recommend running a 100/104 tune and depending on meth . The system doesn’t have a safety trigger. So running out of w/M , line plugged or failed pump could caused engine failure.
Nice build! Dont you have an Armytrix as well? Also hows the PLM heat exchanger? I checked out there website a while back and they dont really put up a lot of info so it seemed a little sketchy to me compared to AWE or 034. Planning on getting my car to sit around 400whp so your modlist is ver helpful!
Hello! Im getting my stage 2 tomorrow. Just had a quick question. Should I also get a new heat exhanger and get new brakes? I just bought the car last July. Brakes seem to be in good condition so far. All ivedone to the car is add an ECS intake. I dont think im gonna get an Exhaust just because I want to it to be a "Sleeper" type of car. But I am also gonna lower tje car as well. do u have any suggestions for coilovers or suspension? Thank u so much!
HX isn’t a must but would highly recommend it on stage 2 . Never skip out on brakes 👍🏽 . Stock exhaust for a sleeper . KW HAS is a hood coils spring , I had them before I upgraded to V3s
Unfortunately no , the 50/50 mix I’m spraying is only for cooling and Knock suppression . The tune is already maxed do you fueling . There isn’t a tuner that is tuning for meth only partially and the whole purpose of that tune is to adjust STFT , all that cause There isn’t a fail safe option if running out of meth or if there a malfunction . I think to get another 20-25whp would have my blower ported aggressively . there’s a few out there that are in the 530-550 respectively
