These b8s almost sound like their cammed at idle when people do exhaust mods. Love it.
Great dyno numbers. Great looking car sounds great. Keep them coming
I knew that dyno at eurofest was way low. Wish i would have been there with you guys i have the same mods but running the apr tune. Nice vid and congrats on 450 wheel mang
scalways thank you 🤙🏻
Those numbers are to the wheels right? Because a stage 1 on a 3.0 running 93 is 438hp.
Solid numbers. 80mm+ throttle body would huge across the entire power band, especially since youre at every other full bolt on would get you much closer to 500
I think so also
Now that you're ported blower, a larger throttle body (or at least a ported throttle body!) would probably net you some decent gains! I would have expected the water/meth guy to make 435 like you said until he mentioned he was also running E40. Are you running 93oct? catted or catless?
I have a B8.5 S4, DP, APR heat exch, APR 93 tune, upgrade intake and exhaust (stock cats), 034 TCU tune; and I'm making about 400whp. I'm going to do a home port job on my supercharger and throttle body and see if that puts me a bit higher. I'm also tempted to do water injection just to keep the temps down and to keep the valves clean. Would love to rip out the cats but they're so annoying to get to.
in cali theres only 91 octane and also e but i think hes just on 91
Do they allow salvage cars to test the dyno?
1:40 what exhaust is that.... I WANT IT. One of the best exhausts I've heard from an S4. I just bought a 2013 S4 with 45k miles on it 3 weeks ago. I only like the AWE Touring and Armytrix but those are both WAYYYY too expensive. Let me know what you got as your system, appreciate it!
I enjoyed this video man. Have you been to this track with this thing yet?
I'm looking to pick up a 2010 S4 dsg prestige with 107k on the clock this coming week. Super excited!
s4 b8 manual and I love everything about it!
a stock throttle body is your bottle neck after porting the blower
Fantastic vid dude. Thanks for laying this out there!!
Thank you!
Everyone always concerned about how much power they have nevermind with the Dyno numbers bring it down the 1320. I know 3 guys making more HP than my S4 and can't get a better time than me at the track.
Yes, we were simply just enjoying what our cars put down and having a friendly little competition
@@TommyLinebarger that's cool and all but why not have that friendly competition at the track? much more fun than standing around looking at numbers No?
Because the nearest track is 2 hours away. Someday that will happen.
What’s the exhaust setup on the s4 at 3:46?
Is there a full list of the mods done to this car?
I would love to see my Audis at the tracks -
Tommy, would you do a review on your exhaust. I’m very tempted to go the JHM test pipe and HFC route but looking for an honest review out it.
Sounds like some content I can make for you!
Tommy Linebarger awesome thanks. Looking forward to it :) 👍
With all due respect Sir @ 321 Gaming and correct me if I’m wrong , BHP is the input brake horsepower of an engine. ... HP is the measurement of an engine's power without any power losses, while HP is BHP less the power losses . Unlike WHP or AWHP in this particular scenario , the information a dyno run provides and usually reads around *18 per cent less than the power measured at the engine (bhp) due to the fact that the power is lost in the driveline (including clutch and transmission) .. Sooooo if my mathematical equation is correct metric equivalent of a single horsepower, referred to as 1 PS, equals 4,500 kilogram-metres per minute, which rounds to 32,550 foot-pounds per minute, or 0.9863 of a horsepower , so by carrying the 5 and to the power of 10 and finally adding the additional 18% he should be around 534BHP
Added the reply here in case you missed it on the dyno sheet .
Good day sir
a` tout a` l'heure
Do you need a a different file to run a ported blower on 034?
No you dont
What fuel are you running?
thats crazy love the content 👌
I gotta warm up the car.
2 runs later: Dam heat soak I need to cool it down.
Frkn supercharged Audis are only good for 2 dyno runs or 2 passes at the strip. Part of the problem is the blower shares the coolant with the motor. Not sure why it couldn't have it's own separate system.
My B8.5 S4 runs a divorced cooling system, a couple of companies sell a divorced system. You won't see big gains on the road, but it really mitigates heat soak.
Why does rodizzles say IE needs to fix their trans tune? I'm getting one soon, anything I need to be aware of?
What gear was dyno in?
Was that on pump gas
What exhaust set up? Why so much popping?
Where did you send your blower to get ported? Do they have cores?
Look up Mike Bunton port or MadbyDesigns port.
Awesome stuff! Are you still on the stock downpipes to the AWE Touring? Factory heat exchanger as well? Wasn’t sure if the mods your videos description are all inclusive
Stock downpipes, upgraded heat exchanger
Awesome!! Thanks! Which heat exchanger are you running? 034? AWE?
Merc Racing
Why did the car lost 22 hp ?
What’s the mod list? I’m running a 2010 B8 S5 on APR 57.75mm dual pulley, APR carbon cold air intake and Stasis exhaust, 465 hp.
This is crank horsepower I’m assuming?? He is 450 wheel horsepower I’m also assuming?
You're probably talking BHP. You probably make right under 400whp as most DP APR cars do. He makes 450whp which is more like 520bhp.
Hi m8!
Congrats with thos numbers man! I'm very happy for you, but could i ask you what exhaust you're running? It sounds sooooooo good :)
Awe touring
I need another ride along 😎
Jerry Chavez oh yea 🙂
Nice videos man! 👌🏻👍🏻
Thanks 🤙🏻
Gotta take into consideration the wheels. He has aftermarket wheels which may be lighter and have a lower rotational mass which means “more whp” or less horsepower loss through drivetrain
Yeah, I understand a lot can go into that little difference. However the largest difference between both cars is the port in mine and the tune on his
Dope video dude, who ported your super charger?
Thank you, CypressSenior on Audizine. Or Mike B
Any concern that with the ported supercharger you're not getting the most out of it without running a larger throttle body? also, you running testpipes yet?
No concerns, but I do agree that’s it’s creating a small bottleneck situation where it could benefit a lot from a TB
You mean Ported supercharger should be added to...?
I thought I should swap a hellcat or corvette 'supercharger instead of the audi supercharged on the v6 tfsi 😳🤔🤔?
I'm in Oakland. What are some good bay area shops to get mods from?
The Russ Collective hit up the guys at 034 Motorsport
Hey Tommy are you familiar with the build at 1:16?
I think your buddy is running way more octane with 100 oct plus some e85 plus meth equals 112 or more octan
Based on your mod list it looks like you don't have a bigger or ported throttle body. Hopefully that is next, otherwise you are just starving your ported supercharger for air. Also look into a bigger crank pulley. I just purchased a 195mm Crank Pulley from IABED.
TB is next
@@TommyLinebarger nice, let me know which way you go. I just ordered the 80mm IABED throttlebody.
...stock S4 put down 311?? That sounds sky high...or no?
Stephen Pato not really. Good DA and low mileage car
@@TommyLinebarger Oh okay. I'm a Beemer guy but I'm really intrigued by the s4. It seems galaxies more reliable than an n54/55.
I would agree with that. However those BMWs have a higher potential.
@@TommyLinebarger True, though I think the higher ceiling only counts if one is after big power.
Is that 450 to the wheels or crank?
Wheel
@@TommyLinebarger that's impressive.
@@TommyLinebarger so that's like 530-540bhp
💪👍
Are you running an E40 mix on this run?
Yes
Tommy Linebarger so what is the difference between your most recent run? As far as performance mods
Nothing ha, just showing the improvements in the tuning from 034 Motorsport
Damn. My decision is made
I have a B8 S4 with APR stage 2 dual pulley with a eurocode intake and I make 468 hp and 431 tq on 93 octane. I still have the stock intercooler but I don't get much heat soak since I really don't abuse my throttle much. Although I am looking at upgrading that next.
Nice
93 Allen Lopez ... 93
I assume that's bhp not whp. APR dual pulley cars normally make somewhere between 380-400whp.
Is that the v8 or 3.0t s4?
3.0T
How much for stock super charger port?
2 yrs later Never mind my car is faster than yours……. 😂
are those burbles part of a tune??? i want it on my S5
Yes they are
Is the guy with the IE S4 on IG?
He is. Rodizzles4
Is this on 93 octane?
E40
Tommy Linebarger
I just bought a 2014 Audi S4. It’s bone stock. I’m thinking of going with IE but I’m worried about the reliability compared too APR. I want to go stage 2+ with ported blower. just not sure which way to go. Apr tune supports E40 blend? Do they have their own high pressure fuel pump?
@@davidmusiyenko4158 I would suggest getting a professional dyno tune if you're really worried about reliability. Also, anything that keeps heat out of the engine is going to help reliability and power! Catless full exhaust, ported blower, larger throttle body, upgraded intake, divorced cooling system. Dual pulley is great as well. You should be able to make 450+whp on 93oct with pretty good reliability.
Hi tommy. I’m looking for some help with highway exhaust drone from my awe track exhaust. Have you heard of any fixes?
A lot of people have installed an extra magnaflow muffler up the system to quiet it down.
Thanks!
Do you have Downpipes or just the catback??? I have the AWE Track exhaust on my 13 manual S5. It's perfect and I don't have any drone. Just noise lol
so what did you 1/4 with your setup?
472/465 if I remember correctly
What was ur 1/4 mile num did it go to 10 or 11 seconds?
I actually never had taken it to the strip due to time and distance. After the later repairs and mods done I would’ve expected very low 11’s or very high 10’s.
What wheels do you have! Look sick!
Vorsteiner VFF-103
IE claims the ported blower on their world record car made no difference in power on the dyno fyi
It wasn't ported correctly then
Ive ported over 75 of these 3.0T chargers and proven to make 30awhp
Matt Verteix information ? Your telling me I’ll be around 485+ just with your ported blower ? That’s a strong statement , how can I contact you . I’m Rodizzles4 on IG
@@rorod3123 pm me on audizine
S4MATTY
Yeah Matt your ports are solid
@@audirx8 I'm located in Vancouver B.C anybody do the porting down here?
Good but man your camera is out of focus 90% of the vid. Pretty annoying tbh
Your car sounds so obnoxious compared to the first 2 S4s 😂 😂
Thank you
They weren’t even S4s tf
Long tube Headers and you will get to 500AWHP
all cars sound rubbish. too obnoxious loud, made to annoy people.
PS: I also drive a S4
Ten minute video just to get horsepower figure? Nope. I refuse.
