You forgot the part when he saves the kids in the elevator, he’s upside down facing the love interest and Karen says something like “now would be a good time for a kiss”!!!!!
You missed the Vulture in the moon. An obvious homage to Michael Keaton's other great comic book role Batman, when he flew the Batplane in front of the moon creating the Batsymbol before dive bombing the Joker.
Trace Moore can you reference the exact scene w a link or something? Im not saying.youre lying lmao just curious and wanna see it for myself w/out watching the WHOLE movie AGAIN haha
Not going to talk about the Batman reference? When Vulture is throwing Spiderman about like a rag doll after Vulture's men call him, one long shot shows Vulture, wings spread, silhouetted against the moon, obviously paying reference to Burton's Batman, also played by Michael Keaton.
Did no one realise after flash thompson answered the teacher incorrectly, she said something like "there is no need to be the fastest if you're wrong, flash" isnt that a reference to DC flash?
I'm pretty sure that's a reference to why he's nicknamed "Flash." In the comics, he was a quarterback for the school's football team which, clearly, this Flash is not.
Thank you! I was like, no way. Im pretty sure that the limit being zero would look like a different function compared to the limit not existing. Not the same thing!
Loved the film. At least in hindsight. There were a lot of things I would've loved to be in there that weren't, and some things were in there that I wish weren't. But all in all, a great film.
Charles Ovatasarn kind of but no. It was her telling people that her nickname is just her initials. I'm tired of people thinking that it means she's somehow Mary Jane

One of the scenes in Spiderman: Homecoming is when Spiderman steals Flash's car. Before that encounter, Flash was talking to a blonde girl sitting in his passenger seat about how the branzino for dinner was not fresh. This may be a reference from Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-man. In this movie, Gwen asks Peter to join her for branzino at her house. Also, Gwen is blonde. Much like how the girl in Flash's car was blonde. So, in conclusion, the girl in Flash's car is Gwen Stacy. Coincidence? I think not. Oh yeah, I also found this out by myself.
I can't believe that no list that I've seen with Easter Eggs ever mentions when Peter left Liz's party as Spiderman, he runs through a golf course and shoots web straight into the air, and stops, seemingly bewildered that it didn't connect to anything. This is a direct reference to The Amazing Spiderman 267 by Peter David, where he does basically the exact same thing chasing a criminal into suburbs and futilely shooting his web into a park to swing (alongside other mishaps) - the whole scene also references this issue, including a car chase involving a van (also featured on the cover), a dog getting in the way, crashing into bushes, and even a big wheel in the park/yard where he finds a piece of the tech gun, after Stark's suit saves him and Ned calls (in the comic, when he tries shooting his web into the park and it just falls to the ground, a little girl on a big wheel asks him if he wants to borrow it). Same scene that references Ferris Bueller's Day Off - so it was actually a brilliant double reference. Triple reference if you include the sort of running joke about how comic/animated Spiderman occasionally swings from webs that are seemingly connected to the sky, because there's nothing else around for them to attach to.
What about when Peter was in this storage and he wakes up and some pieces of these Alien stuff lay around and one of them was the green goblin mask! Did nobody see that?
Didn't notice. Probably just a reference though. With Flash, MJ, Silk, and Hobgoblin all being from his highschool, I doubt all of them, if any of them, will turn out to actually be a villain/hero.
even the screenwriters didn't considered that scene as a BIG reveal, I don't understand why some idiots keep on pretending that she is Mary Jane and uses that excuse to insult Zendaya. Haters gonna hate 🙄

What about the tie in to the first Spider-man film with Tobey when Tom's Spidey dodged Vulture's wing suit as it flew at him from behind like how Tobey's Spidey dodged Green Goblin's glider?
Or how Spider-Man dodges anything because THAT'S A THING SPIDER_MAN ALWAYS DOES??!?!?!?! Not every movement, word spoken, or article of clothing in a movie is a reference to another movie.
The scene where spider man back flipped over vulture's suit seemed like a reference to spider man 1 when Toby Maguire's spider man back flipped over the green goblin's hoverboard.
what's funny is my mom actually did like the movie. She walked into the theatre saying "I'm only going to see this because you want to" and changing her mind to "wow surpirisingly i like that movie" BECAUSE WHO WOULDN'T
I'm amazed that the very first reference of the video wasn't the very first reference on the movie. The scene where the vulture is looking at a picture of the avengers drew by his daughter and commenting how back in his days everything was all about Cowboys. That's a reference right there, of Steven Spielberg opinion on how super hero movies are the most popular genre nowadays while back then it actually was the western genre
I love how everyone makes the same mistake. MJ is not Mary Jane, she's Michelle Jones, a totally different character. The "MJ" Is just a nod to Mary Jane, but she is NOT her.
I like to think that in the scene where Flash is talking to his date to homecoming and he says "I'm sorry but I know fresh Branzino and that wasn't it" is a reference to the first Amazing Spider-Man movie when Peter goes to Gwen's house for dinner and they have Branzino. Just a thought.
I've watched a lot of videos that talk about the Easter eggs and references, but you guys did a great job pointing out others that people haven't covered yet. I noticed the "Risky Business" slide and immediately shouted it out in the theater. You guys went through the movie with a fine toothed comb!
he missed 2. one wheewhen spiderman stole flash's car he did the Christian Bale's batman voice and the scond being when Vulture grabbed spiderman and brought him high up and his parachute engaged, while falling you can see the vultures shadow on the moon clearly being a reference to micheal keaton being batman.
When Peter's friend says, he want's to be the chair guy, operating via video call, I instantly thought off Wade from Kim Possible. I wonder not even a single one noticed lol
i feel like the end credit seen with mac is simple. the vulture knows that peter is conected to his daughter, so if he gives peter up, then his daughter may be in danger. idk thats my thought
Chris F No, his daughter already moved to Oregon by the end of the film. What Vulture did was just a "pay back" for Spider-Man's act of saving him on the beach. If anything, Vulture is a man of honor and if he owned you, he will definitely pay it back. But if you owned him, he will definitely get it back from you by whatever mean possible.
I took it the same way: the Vulture was ultimately a sympathetic villain. He was screwed over by the DODC & had legitimate reasons to be angry, but didn't want to kill anyone unnecessarily. He gave Parker plenty of chances to get away & basically almost destroyed himself. I don't think he sees Spider-Man as an enemy anymore, especially after knowing he was just a kid who risked his own life to save him (& Liz, earlier).
I feel that Tombs feels indebted to Peter. The kid didn't have to save his life which he would of been justified: Tombs threatened him, his family and trapped Peter in a pile of rubble. But Peter saves him anyway.
that could be part of it but I think deep down he is an honorable guy. Peter beat him fair and square and saved his life. Could feel he owes him and/or has respect for him to the point he's not going to snitch out pete's secret.
Int he bank scene spiderman makes one of the robbers wearing a thor mask punch the robber wearing a hulk mask. the punch is a right hook the same way thor punches hulk in ragnorok. That was a fun Easter egg I noticed the last time I re watched homecoming.
The suit that Tony showed him isn't red and gold, it was just red blue and maybe silver and made of metal probably but it definitely wasn't gold in the movie.
It was red, (I would say black but it could be a very dark blue) and gold costume. It was definitely gold as I remember shitting myself seeing the Iron Spider suit in the MCU. Pictures are online and it's definitely gold.
are we really back to the whole blue and black vs gold and silver thing, guys? xD if it was gold, it was just a reference and they chose a different design in the end anyway
and that one weapon when Donald Glover is trying out weapons underneath the bridge which is literally just a detached Ultron arm with a grip, stock and trigger added to it
In his room with Ned when he's trying out some of the suits features, Peter triggers the Spider-Signal from Amazing-Spiderman #3. Gave me a little smile
Hmm... Howard Stark on a high school mural. Not that I've ever been to a US school, but I'd be surprised to find a real world equivalent, say, Julius Oppenheimer, decorating the halls of any high school. Mind you, it's more realistic than Tony Stark being a celebrity bomb maker. Or a... kid... with... spider pow-- I'm over thinking this.
if the school is a specialized school like peter's seemed to be I could see them having murals of past and present scientists on the wall. If the school was more acting / drama focus u'd see more actors. Then again yea it is a fictional story so it could be watever.
The Ramones' song "Blitzkrieg Bop" was played twice in the movie and The Ramones covered the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon intro song on a compilation album years ago.
You missed one. In Michael Keaton's Batman movie, the Batmobile is able to make a very tight turn using a cable. Spiderman while racing in the car he stole from Flash to chase down Vulture, he shoots a Spider web/cable in an attempt to make the same turn. This is the third easter egg video I've seen, and I must be the only person who caught that.
Maybe it is just a coincidence because with the exceptional reference to Superman in Spider-Man 2, Marvel usually does not reference DC because DC is enemy. And vice versa
you forgot the Tony hawk song in the beginning and end of the movie. Lol. you can think of it as a call back to Spider-Man being in Tony hawk pro skater 2 lol
Did anyone else notice that this version of Pete almost gets bystanders killed a lot more than the other cinematic versions? I mean sure he never means to, but just look back: He tried to stopped a bank robbery when hardly anyone else was around and caused them to shot a laser beam across the street, destroying a deli shop and almost killing the owner. He almost got the potential buyer shot when he investigated the source of explosions. He accidentally gave his best friend a bomb (which even if it wasn't a bomb you shouldn't give your friend alien tech you don't understand), which almost got his classmates killed. He caused that gun to almost sink the ferry into the water, potentially killing every passenger. And when he stopped the Vulture from hijacking a plane, he ended up putting the lives of everyone in the city at risk by causing it to start crashing nearby. He is a good kid with great intentions, but he certainly would go for Tony's cause of superhero regulation in the Civil War!
This was very good. The only Easter egg I recall was missed here was the joke to the famous upside-down kiss in Raimi's Spider-Man 1, during the Washington Monument scene.
You missed the one when Ned says Peter should stand at the edge of a building and see how far his webs can go, that's obviously a reference to Toby Maguire's Spiderman scene.
George Ainsley Matthew Mcconehey Nicholai Coster Waldu Micheal C. Hall Woody Harelson? (Though hes hinted that hes been offered a DC role) Just an actor who can act smug and can show a mean streak. Like smug when using gadgets and special effects to mimic magic. So just from the swaying of confidence to when found out its all gimmicks he switches to anger frustration and lashing. One of the above could handle that well. But Im sure there are others.
I liked the way they did the uncle ben moment. The way he says he doesn't want to put aunt may through that again puts the nail on the coffin. Im sure they'll touch on it a little more in homecoming 2 now that she knows though
I've read a lot of criticism about certain guys on whatculture narrating the videos... Let me just show up positive in there and say that Ben is the absolute funniest. He uses certain references over and over again that seems to stick with his videos. Like..."NNNNNEEERRRRRDDDDDSSSS" & "MAKE SURE YOU ENJOY EVERY GODDAMN DAY." But, also his creativity. As a fellow comedian in Canada I just have to give the guy straight up props!
When Spiderman fights Vulture in the back of the transport truck, Spiderman jumps and knocks himself unconscious. When He wakes up he says "oh my head" which is a reference to the old Spiderman cartoon series from the 60s when Spiderman would often plummet from a skyscraper and land hard on the sidewalk below. He would always awake after a commercial break and say "oh my head."
3:16 no, that's not an upscale version of Loki's eyeball thing. We don't really see what happened to the guy's eye, just that it was projected by the paired device that hawkeye was holding. The thing used in SM:H actually moved the physical object.
You forgot another one. Blitzkreig Bop by The Ramones is featured in the movie.Ramones are from Queens,New York (just like Peter) and they covered the Spiderman theme as well, for the 60s Spiderman Animated Series. It was fun though!
So what is the difference between easter eggs and references in movies when it is copied near scene for scene, I would have thought that it would be stolen instead. A hidden easter egg or reference is for something connected with the source material not from unrelated media sources used to pad the film.
There was a hidden credits easter egg during the music credits. There is one song at the end called "Flashdrv" which is Flash's licence plate and the song was not only written by John Watts, but performed by Eugene Thompson - the real name of Flash
There was another licence plate in the film which is a reference to the comics. Aunt May's car has the licence plate reads AMF 1562. This refers to the comic which features the very first story of Spider-Man, namely the origin, in Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1962
#46 - The other license plate. When Spider-Man is interrogating Aaron Davis, the license plate of the car Spidey webs him to is UCSM01, a refrence to the Davis' first appearance in 2011's Ultimate Comcs Spider-Man.
Do people really call the transporters from Star wars "Ay Tee - Ay Tee"s? That's ridiculous - they're AT-ATs (@-@s)don't they even call them that in the films?
Vern Griffiths Some people call them 80-80s rather than @-@s because the two-legged walkers on Endor in Episode VI are called AT-STs and it's easier to call them 80-estees than @-sts
Ah, now I had one of those, and it was called a Scout Walker, not an AT-ST (it was probably called that too, but it had Scout Walker on the box...) - so let's all agree, @-@'s and Scout Walkers, phew, cool, glad we sorted that out... ;)
Vern Griffiths ah sorry you may be right about the Scout Walkers, I think on reflection it was the walkers the Clone Troopers had that were called AT-STs, my mistake
Vern Griffiths, it makes more sense to say ay tee ay tee, then @ @s. In the Clone Wars they had AT-TEs, and you wouldn't say @ teh. Also, even better point: For MTT, you wouldn't say mm-t-t, and same with AAT, you wouldn't say ah-ah-tuh.
I've been waiting for mysterio for the longest time. If they do add him, I am perfectly fine with him being changed within his powers. Because I don't believe that the audience would believe someone can create such amazing effects in real life to combat a super human. I'm fine if they change him into some sort of sorcerer of sorts or uses some awesome technology to create his illusions and I feel that like in one of his comic books he should have cancer. This would make a more sympathetic character with career turning to shambles trying to support himself to the point he gives up on his life and wants to go out with a big finale. So he attempts to destroy the life of Spider-Man but knowing he isn't available just go for daredevil and kills his lover. That backstory would need to be expanded upon to show how he has been affected by the webslinger. This would create an awesome villain kinda hope someone breaks Peter by killing someone but turns out that gives him strength to the point of which peter attempts to kill mysterio but has an uncle Ben moment thinking revenge isn't worth this. I would love a film like this.
For the fact at 4:17, the movie comes with a feature that points out almost every easter egg, and it says the At-At is there because the way you defeat one in star wars is the technique spiderman used to beat ant-man in civil war.
Gshiin I like her character, every class has a smartass like that in it. It adds a bit of contrast and it makes if feel more like a highschool flick which was the directors intention.
I dont think she was a smartass, she was just an outcast that stayed away from the plot and the main characters and just sorta appeared ocassionally? she was barely there and while i didnt hate her character i did find her a tad annoying, she seemed like a pretentious teen that didnt knew how to interact with people, and while that character is pretty common in high school movies like that i felt like she was one of the worst parts of the film.
You forgot the part when he saves the kids in the elevator, he’s upside down facing the love interest and Karen says something like “now would be a good time for a kiss”!!!!!
That might be too obvious
that moment when they mention the "Karen" name of the suit. which is the name of plankton's computer wife.
Jughead Jefferson I DIDNT SEE THAT BEFORE!!!! THANK YOU
It's Jughead Jones, not Jefferson. Jones.
Jughead Jefferson I was just about to comment this thank you
I grew with spongebob and i didn't even get that😂
OH my karen OH my karen OOOOOOOOOH my computer wife karen
You missed the Vulture in the moon. An obvious homage to Michael Keaton's other great comic book role Batman, when he flew the Batplane in front of the moon creating the Batsymbol before dive bombing the Joker.
Oh god.. I never realised that
MotherChucker same
I got that too and the shot where Vulture is hunched over the building like gargoyle before attacking Tony's jet.
Trace Moore I had to show my dad and brother that to make them believe im not crazy
Trace Moore can you reference the exact scene w a link or something? Im not saying.youre lying lmao just curious and wanna see it for myself w/out watching the WHOLE movie AGAIN haha
Stan Lee doesn't flirt with the woman in the window he asks her about her mother he has a crush on the mother not the daughter
Lol "crush"
Ok
He used to date the mother😂
Not going to talk about the Batman reference? When Vulture is throwing Spiderman about like a rag doll after Vulture's men call him, one long shot shows Vulture, wings spread, silhouetted against the moon, obviously paying reference to Burton's Batman, also played by Michael Keaton.
Jamie Forsythe Yeah, I noticed that as well. That was a pretty good easter egg.
Did no one realise after flash thompson answered the teacher incorrectly, she said something like "there is no need to be the fastest if you're wrong, flash" isnt that a reference to DC flash?
Nanang Eldira I thought this as well
Nanang Eldira THANK YOU
I'm pretty sure that's a reference to why he's nicknamed "Flash." In the comics, he was a quarterback for the school's football team which, clearly, this Flash is not.
Nanang Eldira I wasn't the only one who thought that.
Flash Thompson is a Spiderman, MARVEL, character. DC Flash is ... well.... DC. Good try though.
I'm sorry but the limit isn't zero in mean girls, the limit does not exist.
Fraser O'Rourke glad to know I wasn't the only one troubled by this
Thank you! I was like, no way. Im pretty sure that the limit being zero would look like a different function compared to the limit not existing. Not the same thing!
I absolutely loved everything about this movie. The Vultures' suit is so amazing. The wings were freaking huge. It was perfect.
Loved the film. At least in hindsight. There were a lot of things I
would've loved to be in there that weren't, and some things were in
there that I wish weren't. But all in all, a great film.
Well I've been waiting for this video for ages now and it's finally here with Ben narrating.
Could have just watched MrSundayMovies one if you wanted to know so bad....
Vikram Ranchan hope you enjoy!
Vikram Ranchan Ages? The movie just came out. It has a lot of Easter eggs. This video must have been a lot of work.
J Tevo yeah mrSundaymovies always has fun sarcastic knowledgeable videos for sure! But whatculture has great videos too! Ben is my favorite lol
Torus Brusk
Yeah I've been waiting since the 5 of July. I thought they would be part of early screenings.
Michelle telling her name was MJ .. Was like Dark Knight Rises Jone Blake telling his name was Robin - -"
Charles Ovatasarn kind of but no. It was her telling people that her nickname is just her initials. I'm tired of people thinking that it means she's somehow Mary Jane
Exactly it Just happens that her initials are the same as Mary Jane's
Or maybe it was a troll to those who accused Zendaya of being Mary Jane
Obviously Zendaya is "Mary Jane." And this version of MJ is fairly interesting.
What about him holding the boat from splitting in half just like the Spider-Man trying to stop the train
I don't think anybody missed that reference
@@basicraccoon8572 I did ;-;
Notyep Dranel welp
JENNIFER CONNELLY VOICES KAREN???? AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO IS FREAKING OUT ABOUT HOW SHE IS THE VOICE ACTOR OF JARVIS (Paul Bettany)'S WIFE WHO NOW ALSO VOICES ONE OF STARK'S AI???? Please tell me I'm not the only one who has noticed this!
nice to know thanks
Emilie Pomel yeah, realized this as well. Looks like WhatCulture missed it.
The reason I think Peter didn't say AT-AT In Civil War because he didn't want to be too nerdy and not have them know what he means. Thats just how I took It In the movie.
The whole "I'm not sure what it's called because I'm cool."
Or perhaps he thought that none of the Avengers would know what a AT-AT was
Stelio Macumbe Which Is what I said
One of the scenes in Spiderman: Homecoming is when Spiderman steals Flash's car. Triple reference if you include the sort of running joke about how comic/animated Spiderman occasionally swings from webs that are seemingly connected to the sky, because there's nothing else around for them to attach to.
"I'm looking at... Porn."
One of the best lines in the movie
GuentherGames29 of the entire MCU
LegoMatt222 best fucking response
The entire theatre I was in laughed at that line
If you don't know what 'porn' means, you are not worthy.
"I survived my trip to NYC" Either an Easter Egg for the first Avengers movie or 9/11 either one.
Me Me Big Boy lol I know, but the first thing that popped into mind was 911
What about when Peter was in this storage and he wakes up and some pieces of these Alien stuff lay around and one of them was the green goblin mask! Did nobody see that?
why aren't more people talking about the asian-american student named Cindy on Peter's academic decathalon team?? A.K.A. Cindy Moon A.K.A. Silk?
glitterholtzy THANK YOU FOR THAT
Didn't notice. Probably just a reference though. With Flash, MJ, Silk, and Hobgoblin all being from his highschool, I doubt all of them, if any of them, will turn out to actually be a villain/hero.
At least they opened the possibility
A.K.A who is that
It's an acronym for "also known as"
4:05 Perhaps he was trying to downplay how much of a fan he was so he didn't feel embarrassed.
Michelle Jones (MJ) in this film is not Mary-Jane Watson. Its just an easter egg nod for the nickname.
even the screenwriters didn't considered that scene as a BIG reveal, I don't understand why some idiots keep on pretending that she is Mary Jane and uses that excuse to insult Zendaya. Haters gonna hate 🙄
Did anyone else notice how glover was getting ice cream and in the comics miles got bitt by the spider in the car while eating ice cream
Miles Morales becomes Spiderman only hours after that scene confirmed.
Actually, they were Popsicle but nice try bub
Yes i think everyone missed the captain America cameo
ColDaddy Supreme missed what about it exactly ?

Nova1080 ok good try but it's spider-man
You mean Spider-Man's spider sense which he's had since his comic debut? That's not a reference.
That was immediately the first thing I thought of, tbh. These people are being too snippy. Jesus. Visually, it was very similar imo.
Why do Captain Americas PSA videos look like they are recorded on VHS when Its the 2009 suit?
Because VHS was still a thing in 2009 and it was made for highschools. I doubt they put a lot of effort into it.
Style perhaps?
The scene where spider man back flipped over vulture's suit seemed like a reference to spider man 1 when Toby Maguire's spider man back flipped over the green goblin's hoverboard.
Fluffinator or because he's spiderman but ok
"The Heart Osbourne First We Attack His Heart!!!"
Christopher Greig Classic
i dont get it like norman and harry osborn?
if so u spelt osborn wrong
Isn’t it a reference from the original spider man (played by Toby) were it shows the green goblin
But he's right, it's Osborn, not Osbourne. And It's Tobey, not Toby, btw
Howard Bros, If you’re talking about his grammar, you may need to add capitalization.
what's funny is my mom actually did like the movie. She walked into the theatre saying "I'm only going to see this because you want to" and changing her mind to "wow surpirisingly i like that movie" BECAUSE WHO WOULDN'T
I LOVED it!
11:43
"better follow that burger...... with my spider-tracer!" -peter parker/spider-man
guys gotta eat 😂
I'm amazed that the very first reference of the video wasn't the very first reference on the movie. The scene where the vulture is looking at a picture of the avengers drew by his daughter and commenting how back in his days everything was all about Cowboys. That's a reference right there, of Steven Spielberg opinion on how super hero movies are the most popular genre nowadays while back then it actually was the western genre
and the fact that it seems like there is a giant spider in the drawing
I love how everyone makes the same mistake. MJ is not Mary Jane, she's Michelle Jones, a totally different character. The "MJ" Is just a nod to Mary Jane, but she is NOT her.
There's another Easter egg, when he activates the drone for the first time in the top left it says A113
Typical Pixar easter egg, but Pixar is part Disney now. So as Marvel.
Great movie
What about ultrons head!! When he gets stuck in the truck!
Jerry Salamanca not ultrons head.
sean wilks It was Ultrons head
It’s a chitauri head. Not ultranationalist head. Pay closer attention.
Stupid spell check......ultron not ultranationalist....lol
14:56
people inside the theathers were cheering "Scorpion" .......... I was cheering " Vaas Insanity"
bastiisalive
friend: "thats Macgargan. the scorpion tattoo is a giveaway"
me: "THAT'S MICHEAL FREAKIN MANDO"
Also, spidey saved Vulture's life at the end
The suit that Tony showed him isn't red and gold, it was just red blue and maybe silver and made of metal probably but it definitely wasn't gold in the movie.
check again it definitely had a gold outline on the spider chest symbol and arms with no silver
It was red, (I would say black but it could be a very dark blue) and gold costume. It was definitely gold as I remember shitting myself seeing the Iron Spider suit in the MCU. Pictures are online and it's definitely gold.
It’s gold 😅
are we really back to the whole blue and black vs gold and silver thing, guys? xD
if it was gold, it was just a reference and they chose a different design in the end anyway
I thought they called Stan Lee "Larry", and I thought that was a nod to his brother.
Coney Island is also a callback to the classic villain Mysterio!
who else waited for the end credit scene and it was cap saying "you have alot of patince" hah smh
you forgot ultron's head in the bus scene
and that one weapon when Donald Glover is trying out weapons underneath the bridge which is literally just a detached Ultron arm with a grip, stock and trigger added to it
In his room with Ned when he's trying out some of the suits features, Peter triggers the Spider-Signal from Amazing-Spiderman #3.
Or a... kid... with... spider pow--
I'm over thinking this.
Here we do sometimes have entire walls painted with famous historical figures.
if the school is a specialized school like peter's seemed to be I could see them having murals of past and present scientists on the wall.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👌🏻😱😱😱😱😱👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕸🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷 I LOVE TOM HOLLAND AS THE SPIDER-MAN❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🕸🕷😂🕷🕸❤️❤️❤️😱😱😱🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
3:08 that's obviously a half life gravity gun. It's even more clear in the movie.
BigOldScout, thank you, I've been looking for someone else who had caught that, but it didn't seem like anyone else had.
Im still laughing at "someone help ben he may be having a stroke" at 12:07
you forgot the Tony hawk song in the beginning and end of the movie. Lol. you can think of it as a call back to Spider-Man being in Tony hawk pro skater 2 lol
Lol
Lol wtf that's The Ramones, one of the pioneers of punk rock...
And they're from Queens, just like Spidey, so I guess that's the easter egg.
wweRamz hey ho, let's go
No. The song is by Ramones and they did a Spider-Man song. They reference Spider-Man a bit.
As always, wonderful video WhatCulture!
This has already been done, but i like to see if it's the same.
Isn't this a re-upload WhatCulture?
Javi because they are struggling to get new content
Javi does a video version of an article with the same info count as a re-upload?
Yo Uncle and Yo Daddy
In my definition yes.
So bai bai.
Javi you ain't going anywhere
The whole post credit scene with captain America being an Easter egg to how many more post credit scenes are there is amazing 😅👏🏽
There is one Easter Egg or Reference to Indiana Jones The Raiders Of The Lost Ark
Did anyone else notice that this version of Pete almost gets bystanders killed a lot more than the other cinematic versions? I mean sure he never means to, but just look back:
He tried to stopped a bank robbery when hardly anyone else was around and caused them to shot a laser beam across the street, destroying a deli shop and almost killing the owner.
Principal Morita...
Morita
Mor
Rom
Romita
Romita!!
This was very good. The only Easter egg I recall was missed here was the joke to the famous upside-down kiss in Raimi's Spider-Man 1, during the Washington Monument scene.
You guys forgot black cat in the background, the white haired girl that reappears multiple times.
Enrique Fuentebella I hope she makes an appearance in homecoming 2!! I really want her to be peters love interest this time
You missed the one when Ned says Peter should stand at the edge of a building and see how far his webs can go, that's obviously a reference to Toby Maguire's Spiderman scene.
The name Karen is a reference to Plankton's computer wife in SpongeBob
Slytherin and proud of it is there proof though, like I know it's the same name but that doesn't really mean anything
BasicRaccoon It was a joke.
IM so glad you got that references
who could play Mysterio?
George Ainsley Matthew Mcconehey
Nicholai Coster Waldu
Micheal C. Hall
Woody Harelson? (Though hes hinted that hes been offered a DC role)
Just an actor who can act smug and can show a mean streak. Like smug when using gadgets and special effects to mimic magic. So just from the swaying of confidence to when found out its all gimmicks he switches to anger frustration and lashing. One of the above could handle that well. But Im sure there are others.
I'm not very familiar with Mysterio but I hope they get his look/design right
George Ainsley green scale suit, purple cape, smoke screen bowl for a head.
Wouldn't be surprised if they have to use CGI for the head sadly
Honestly Jesse Eisenberg
I liked the way they did the uncle ben moment. The way he says he doesn't want to put aunt may through that again puts the nail on the coffin. Im sure they'll touch on it a little more in homecoming 2 now that she knows though
I just started this video and I see a Spider-Man Homecoming ad. ;-;
As a fellow comedian in Canada I just have to give the guy straight up props!
you forgot the shockmaster reference from wcw
When Ned asked about whether Peter could summon an army of spiders, I thought it was paying homage to the superior spider-man storyline.
Some of these easter eggs seem like a reach.
Didn't realize this version of Peter Parker is a Big Bang Theory fan. That ruins everything for me.
So you basically hate #1 watched scripted show in United States?
3:16 no, that's not an upscale version of Loki's eyeball thing. We don't really see what happened to the guy's eye, just that it was projected by the paired device that hawkeye was holding. The thing used in SM:H actually moved the physical object.
What I want to know is what did Pepper announce to the press at the end?!
Asian Equation That her and Tony are getting married. That's why Happy had that ring in his pocket.
I never noticed/heard the Tinkerer saying that they “have enough raw material for the gargan tail” nice find 👏🏽
Who else watched until after the credits?
You forgot another one.
Blitzkreig Bop by The Ramones is featured in the movie.Ramones are from Queens,New York (just like Peter) and they covered the Spiderman theme as well, for the 60s Spiderman Animated Series.
It was fun though!
So what is the difference between easter eggs and references in movies when it is copied near scene for scene, I would have thought that it would be stolen instead.
A hidden easter egg or reference is for something connected with the source material not from unrelated media sources used to pad the film.
Engineer 3517
Easter eggs don't need to have anything to do with source material.
There was a hidden credits easter egg during the music credits. There is one song at the end called "Flashdrv" which is Flash's licence plate and the song was not only written by John Watts, but performed by Eugene Thompson - the real name of Flash
No, my mum did NOT have fun, she fell asleep whilst watching it...
Aaron Joseph my mother hates it too. Aha
There was another licence plate in the film which is a reference to the comics. Aunt May's car has the licence plate reads AMF 1562. This refers to the comic which features the very first story of Spider-Man, namely the origin, in Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1962
Gwyneth Paltrow clearly needed money to eat again.
Also, even better point: For MTT, you wouldn't say mm-t-t, and same with AAT, you wouldn't say ah-ah-tuh.
i cant stop smiling when iron man goes: “Hello, Spider-Man! Band practice?”
Wait but I thought Michelle had no friends. She said that she has no friends in the movie and now she says her friends call her MJ
Peter mentioned that in the movie, and MJ said "I didn't."
Code Red after she said that ned said “ I thought u didn’t have any friends “. Lol😂
3:10 - you know, given the shape it could be a gravity gun from Half-Life ...

Amazing video. The jokes here are simple and subtle but hilarious. And of course so much info. Awesome!
"What are you doing here it's the dance"
"I'm watching...porn"
Uh... Spider-Man absolutely *hated* Star Wars in the comics...
Since when? He never mentioned Star Wars in the comics.
I don't actually know which issue he says this in (surprise, surprise), but he does reaffirm his hatred for Star Wars. Not that I've read it, that is.
For the fact at 4:17, the movie comes with a feature that points out almost every easter egg, and it says the At-At is there because the way you defeat one in star wars is the technique spiderman used to beat ant-man in civil war.
"michelle is a great character"
lol...not really...
She wasn't even a character.
Gshiin well there's every chance that the second movie will focus more on her and help develop her character.
Yeah, she really didnt do much in the movie and her char seems uninteresting so far
Holy crap, was this a LONG glorious video!
