Thanks for watching! If you think of anything else feel free to add it. What a fun thing I guess.
You said Mac Gargan wasn't named... He bloody was
Did Tony & Pepper get engaged at the end? Is that what happened? I'm unclear...
(I did a video about it! It's sort of a review! Check it out if you've any minutes spare! 2 should do it.)
Vulture when peter was talking to him in the car had a green reflection on his face and said "End of the line" similar to goblin from the first spiderman film.
In the final battle with the Vulture Spidermans non-Stark suit was very reminiscent of the Scarlet Spider suit except the colors were reversed.
At the end three variations of spiderman. They are Ultimate Spiderman and SpiderGwen and Spider man
Spidey suit from Stark - great
Spidey suit from Mack Weldon - the best
Stark doesn't know how to make things antimicrobial
More like Anti--SPI(der)CROBIAL amirite, because he's spider-man, and spi and mi from microbrial rhyme haha lolxd
What we need is Mac Gargan wearing Mack Weldon. Mackception.
i hope you win a loot crate
Howard Stark and Bruce Banner are in the school in art on the walls. Maybe you said that - I was eating loud crisps.
When Vulture figures out Peter Parker is Spiderman in the car ride to the dance reminded me when William Defoe figured out the same thing at the dinner in the Sam Raimi Spiderman.
Jamie Srichew Same here!
I love the movies where you can see a characters gears turning in real time.
With you. Also the scene from inside their house, really reminded the moment when Dafoe came over for Thanksgiving.
Yes! You can see the reflection of the green light on his face which is the color of the Vulture.
That was such a good scene! When he pulled the gun out to talk to Peter. I really wasn't expecting him to be the father so I was surprised like Peter.
When Tony asks Happy for the ring Happy said ˇi have ring since 2008ˇ...2008- first Ironman film
So Homecoming does take place in 2020?
It doesn't make any sense either. the movie doesn't take place in 2020, but nether did the '8 years later' thing make sense.
The homecoming takes place in 2016, just 2 months after Civil War...
The Jovke yah bcs iron man movie theres a kid using a iron man helmet and glove and that kid is peter parker sorry bad english
kinda.... its because doctor strange manipulated time using the z and he was warned of consiquences that probably added four years into time maybe pushing back the events of the avengers to 2008 or having 4 years of time where nothing happened after the first avengers thats probably the reason of the 8 years later loophole thing..
what about when Ned tells Peter to stand on the rooftop and shoot his web to see how far it goes, was that referencing to the first movie?
Y2J Gamer Months I think , since in Civil War Stark asks Peter "How long you have been doing this?" (Something like that) and he responds 6 months.
I think it was.
Yes it was
It was foreshadowing to the suburbs scene
I have a theory that the ones who bought the Avengers tower is actually Oscorp
Gibran Arumbinang oscorp would be good but the fantastic four or the new baxter building will be better!
Renzo Cabral I hope so, but sadly Fox owns the rights to Fantastic 4
Gibran Arumbinang you dont have a theory you just heard it somewhere else
Gibran Arumbinang YESSSS 😮😮
Alex Romero I thought that in TASM movies, Oscorp has a huge tower in New York but not in MCU New York, and then I heard in Spiderman Homecoming, some company will buy the avengers tower, and I immediately thought that was Oscorp.
One thing that isn't mentioned is that during the Captain America detention talk. Captain America talks about peer pressure and how you need to do what you know is right and not listen to your friends if they're wrong. This is definitely a double conversation. As it is just a talk to kids in detention, but it is also exactly what he does during Civil War.
The final post-credit scene in Homecoming was, by far, the most hilarious of all of the Marvel credit scenes that they've ever done!
Dave Blaser My friend and I went to see it earlier today and I don't think I've ever laughed so hard but been extremely disappointed at the same time.
It was all in good fun. Marvel is clearly well aware that we're staying right to the end of the credits now to see what else they're going to tease us with, so they're having fun with us, not unlike the end credits scene in Deadpool.
Chick-a-chick-ahhhhhh! :)
I'm ashamed that I made my family wait 4 min ties for credits just tag we trolled
the only after movie scenes I got to see before me and my gf bailed out was the one with The Vulture and the other guy establishing if Vulture knew who Spider-Man was. don't know if there were any other scenes. if you can explain what else there was then that would be nice :D
Tarkatan It was a joke. Captain America came on and told us we wasted our time.
The bit about summoning an army of spiders comes from a much older issue of spiderman where he's in a single hostage situation with some no name criminal and he fools the criminal into thinking that he is summoning an army of spiders to attack him, when the criminal asks if he can really do that he simply responds with "yeah i'm SPIDERman" and the altercation ends with the criminal high-tailing it out of fear.
Jarvis is/was played by Paul Bettany. Spiderman's female version of Jarvis (Karen/Suit Lady) is played by Jennifer Connelly. Paul and Jennifer are married in real life and play essentially the male and female versions of same character in MCU.
rws531 very nice. I didn't even think about that.
rws531 it'd be kind of cool if they castes her as Jocasta
The roller coaster at the end of the movie that Spider-Man is seen sitting atop labeled "Cyclone" is the same roller coaster as the one mentioned by Bucky to Steve Rogers in The First Avenger.
Bucky: "You remember when I made you ride the cyclone on Coney Island?"
Steve: "Yeah, and I threw up?"
Bucky: "This isn't payback, is it?"
Leo Pablo
Nice catch
Leo Pablo it's a roller coaster in Brooklyn Coney Island
Leo Pablo Thanks discount IMDb
also right next to is the Thunderbolts
Leo Pablo ditto
I'M NOT A GIRL! I'M A BOY! I mean.. I'M A MAN!
You really dont know how to do this kinda thing huh?
SuperShah201 That was my favorite scene lol 😂😂😂
"I AM A MAAAAAN ! *punches a wall*"
hahah you have watch it
SuperShah201 I like the seen when aunt May is like WHAY THE FU!
When Aaron Davis tells Spiderman that he has ice-cream in his trunk. It's just a little thing, but in Miles Morales origin story, his uncle was actually about to give him a popsicle right as he got bit by the spider
I don't like the miles morales thing, I hope that the MCU doesn't add miles.
Bigsurfad why? miles is an awesome character. he’d be a great addition to the mcu.
@@kittensruleforever because this peter is still young and needs much more story to tell b4 we get a new spiderman already
Tony telling Peter about not deserving the suit if he feels like he's nothing without it is a nice reference to Iron Man 3 and Tony's journey in that film regarding his suits and who he is when he's not Iron Man.
I don't think its a reference but more of the characters father-son relationship and Iron Man passing down his advice to his "son"
Brownie2891 I thought it was a call back to the Avengers when Cap asked him what he was without the suit
Brownie2891 I thought it was a reference to how Tony is kind of a hypocrite.
I think is a reference TO TONY STARK HIMSELF.
Post Creidts scene = "Patience". Hope someone gets that.
Smasher Yup, it was funny but pointless
eMe MAT7OPS it wasn't pointless. They said the point was to prove that they are aware that people wait for post credit scenes, so they could poke fun at us for waiting. The joke was on us.
How many more of these?
Smasher do you mean it as a reference to the post credits scene in the first Spider-Man? When it the one in homecoming came up my dad started laughing because it was reminiscent of how disappointing that post credits scene was.
MAT7OPS we did get 5 in gotg2, so, i'm fine
*Hi I'm Captain America, here to talk about one of the most valuable traits a soldier, or student can have: patience. Sometimes patience is key to victory, sometimes it leads to very little, and it seems like it's not worth it. And you wonder why you waited so long for something so disappointing....*
*How many more of these?*
Dormammu I loved and hated that
I was disappointed and impressed at the same time.
Trolled by Captain fuckinng America.
I thought that it worked very well as a one-time gag. It certainly cracked me up, but then again I'll watch comedians that make fun of my own point of view just as readily as those that make fun of others' perspectives. There is no way that they could successfully pull off this kind of thing again though.
Dormammu I've come here to bargain
After Peter has lost the suit and leaves the principal's office, Ned asks if he's going to be expelled and have to go to that school where the principal has a crossbow. Peter says that's just an urban legend. Kraven the Hunter anyone?
Konrad Galica No, he doesn't use a crossbow.
that might be a reference to Taskmaster. Who has run training programs for villains (and sometimes heroes) before.
I believe that the company that bought the avengers tower (because it was for sale) is oscorp and if they don't do that then they lost a way to incorporate them
Ni7roN1nja What about fantastic four?
4th4life 4th4life true but they don't have the rights to them yet and I think oscorp would be better as well
That would be great if they turned it into the Baxter building. But come on, Fox is never letting go of the rights to the Fantastic Four any time soon, no matter how much we ask.
Ni7roN1nja THAT'S A GREAT IDEA
Ni7roN1nja or or maybe horizon labs ya know?
When Peter was in class, the teacher asked a question that Flash answered wrong because he answered too fast. The teacher said that being fast isn't always the answer. Seemed like it was alluding to the Flash in the D.C. Comics.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
NERD WAR ALERT! NERD WAR ALERT!
Me-aw FUCK!
Apollo u dont say
Bocaj Cutler Orving k
or the DCEU
Or just simply that his name is flash.
When Peter Parker Turns Down The Interview, Tony Stark ask Happy for the the ring, he says he had it since 2008, when the first iron man came out.
Mc_Carra UA-cam I laughed in joy when Happy stated that. Everyone in the theater thought I was crazy lol
Masterbango Blast Probably a normal reaction
Mc_Carra UA-cam but the thing is They said iron man takes place in 2010
Carlandrei Iradiel you couldn't be more wrong
Michael Klock uh dude iron man takes place in 2010 look it up
11:53
*Bruce Banner in the top right*
-dang- how did you even see that
I also saw it
I saw too
11:54
Fun fact! jennifer connelly who voiced the A.I. karen. her husband is paul bettany who actually voiced jarvis in the iron man movies and played vision.....
STAR - PRINCE Lizs mom once played Jamie Foxx's love interest in the Jamie Foxx show.
I knew that :)
STAR - PRINCE I feel like I have heard this before.
hmmm interesting....
hmmm interesting...
The best part of the movie was definitely the deli owner's face when peter asked him about his daughter in spanish
I thought it was Italian, but whatever.
Mitsuraga it's Spanish
Kevin Galarza
Spanish speaker here, that was not spanish, it was italian.
my ass. it's spanish pendijo
MrLCGO there's a lot of similarities between Italian and Spanish
In captain America civil war, one of the words to control Bucky's mind was "Homecoming" ....very subtle
ADV BROS It's funny cause that was a word that really stuck out to me. I was just like "Wha? That's a little out of place..."
ADV BROS I watched civil war recently and when the word homecoming came up I was frantically rewinding it to hear the other words to see if it might give anything away for infinity war
ADV BROS know right
When they are on the bus and the academic team is practicing, one of the answers is Fort Sumter, which is where the first shots of the American Civil War were shot, possibly alluding to Captain America Civil War?
When Aunt May says "What the" at the end of the movie hahaha best part
Jaylourd Gatchalian Yes it was.
Jaylourd Gatchalian
Best part was the car ride, funniest was the fucking ending credit scene
Jaylourd Gatchalian Nah best part was when ned said he was watching porn.
gmodlordz so true 😂😂
That will be the end of Sony and Marvels deal
My favorite scene was when he lifted the debris off of him. Pulled straight from the comics and the fear you could hear in his voice was just incredible acting from Tom
Nick Jamgochian that was a great scene, I was like " damn is Spidey crying?". reminds you that he is just a kid.
Nick Jamgochian honestly that scene gave me chills. So nice to see him being human as well as a hero and not JUST a hero. Powerful stuff.
Nick Jamgochian I couldn't agree more, that scene (IMO) was the most moving and emotional to me.
I kinda rolled my eyes. Spidey has super human strength, he can lift rubble. And they can't blame it on him discovering his powers, he has had powers for like a year in Homecoming - he should know that he can lift heavy things.
.....the entirety of a warehouse roof fell directly on top of him
and I think he was under a bus too
he's not Superman
One thing I noticed: when the suit pulled up Aaron Davis' records, it listed both Prowler and 'Brian Pichelli' as alias' he's used. Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli were the writer and artist respectively of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, the series where Miles Morales debuted.
Woah! Great catch!
The one that stuck out to me was when Peter meets up with Vulture before the final battle. As Pete was talking Vulture's suit flew in from behind, straight at Spider Man and he jumped and back flipped over it. Very reminiscent to how Tobey's Spidey dodged Goblin's glider, also during the final battle of the first film.
Instead of Captain America trolling us it should have been the Falcon reacting to the Vulture
*Watches Vulture on TV*
Falcon: "Oh hell naw! Why is this guy stealing my look? Im a falcon motherfu***! Youre just a slow ass vulture!"
"'Bird costume'? Come on?" - Falcon, Captain America: Civil War
to be fair, the vulture has the better suit.
Yijuwarp
The Vulture's suit can't fire bullets or mini tracking devices
The First Prince But vultures was boadacious and Elegant
*Aunt May: "What the fu...?!?!?"*
*Roll credits*
That was an amazing moment! ...hey don't I know you from... you know what, never mind. ;)
Shione Cooper
They had some balls doing that 😂
Edgar Corona how do you know she has a donkey
i didn't like how she knows he's spider-man. smh
Captain America: "LANGUAGE!"
Or somehow should bring Aunt Bae a Swear Jar.
When one of Liz's friends said to Liz " you dont know what he looks like under there, he could be Bernt for all you know" that's a reference to deadpool. This was the gym scene at the begging of the film
Michael Head holy shit your right
She also said she would F thor, Disney is getting ballzy
Crimson Dynamo where u been lolol Hes roasted
No, but one could be forgiven for thinking he was and its a common joke to compare Deadpool's and Spidey's costumes so I wouldnt put it past them.
I think it's really funny how in the movie Peter is a 15 year old Sophomore in high school like me, (even though I'm about to be 16 and a Junior.)
Claytonwayne aww same
Claytonwayne awww arnt u special
SilentFTW, lol
Wow! That is really funny! Just one question... why?
"I'm watching porn"
Was the peek of spiderman
Nicholas Borg I guarantee that what proceeded after is a deleted scene. Liz telling the rest of the gang Peter left is probably also a deleted scene.
Nicholas Borg Ara haqq
I don't know. Donald Glover and Hannibal Buress both had much funnier lines than that one.
anyone else think that liz almost falling down the elevator shaft was a callback to emma stones death scene?
Vincent M. Lmao so true i thought that too when I was watching the movie
I thought that too caught her by the hand.
Duncan C Robertson i was in movie like, NOT AGAIN!
Who else laughed really hard when Ned said he was watching porn
Wasn't that funny
Caden Does Gaming you lame llamas
Jordan Kendall I was crying in the theater five minutes after he said that jesus christ
kinda saw it coming, but still funny nonetheless
Think about it, if Ned said he was helping a friend, they would have looked at what he was doing, but since he said he was watching porn, the teacher wouldn't have looked at the screen... It was really smart and funny.
I thought it was cool that Spidey told Aaron Davis that the webs will dissolve in a couple hours. Every1s always talkin about how if spidey was real then there would be webs all over the city just hanging on whatever spidey used to swing from, but instead they would all dissolve. Thought that was cool, n it's something u didn't talk about lol awesome video tho, ur hilarious, and I'm totally gonna check out ur clothing line online
Its already known though that it dissolves after some hours for example in Spiderman the animated series he says that in the episode with Mysterio.
Daniel Nelson H it takes 1 hour for the web fluid to dissolve in the comics
At the end where jon favreau is like i've been carry this since 2008, i liked that because he basically started it all with iron man 1
Hector Navarro explained the timeline in the comments of an SJ News video, so I'll just shamelessly leave what he said here:
Avengers didn't take place in 2012.
Iron Man DID take place in 2008.
Six months later was Iron Man 2, in 2008/2009. Along with The Incredible Hulk and Thor, all three of these movies take place in the same week. And a bit after that, Nick Fury finds Steve Rogers thawed out from his suspended animation.
Avengers took place about a year after that, in 2009/2010.
Cut to Captain America: Civil War where Vision says "In the 8 years since Mr. Stark announced himself as Iron Man..." which yeah, puts that at 2016.
Spider-Man: Homecoming took place during and a few months after that, in 2016/2017.
So if Avengers took place in 2009, eight years later could be 2017.
And Peter Parker woulda been seven or eight years old in Iron Man 2, during 2008/2009. Checks out. = )
thanks man
Yeah, it's easy to assume the movies came out the years they were released. I remember reading that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2's main narrative is set 6 months after the first one. So it happens before Civil War. Which means that when Stan Lee mentions that "one time" he was a Fedex delivery man, it would mean his character moves temporally as well.
Mark Seeley Actually James Gunn said that he made a mistake with that reference and forgot that the movie was set before Civil War since he filmed those Stan Lee scenes after the movie was already shot.
Peter can't be 8 in iron man 2 cause that would make him 16 or 17 and he's 14 in homecoming
He's 15, Marv. He mentions it after the boat scene.
Which would make him 7 in IM2... so close enough.
Did anyone notice when vulture sent his wings at Peter from behind and he did the back flip just like spiderman 1 with green goblin?
Niccoló Walrond I caught that too
well, who has the money to buy the Avengers tower from Tony Stark.??? Tchalla wont buy it... danny rand wont buy it.
But Norman Osborne can buy it and remodel it into Oscorp Tower.. hence Green Goblin and the Osbornes confirmed fr the sequels.
Ankit Das that is very true
Also when spidey tried to hold the boat together just like he did in spiderman 2
F34R_SWAG yip, I thought he mentioned that in the video though.
11:54 Bruce banner in the top right
Woah eagle eye
Lewis Aps nice catch!
Lewis Aps hh
The best part of this great movie is suburban Spiderman. Seeing him struggle without the tall buildings around was hilarious. Also shout out to the scene when when he finds out the vulture is the dad. Tense as fuck.
thekinglydragon that scene had me shitting my pants.
When Peter finds out he's her father, a six year old kid in my theater shouted: "Holy Sh*#"
My wife almost had a nervous breakdown, lol!
You know what's funny? This is the first Spiderman movie where Spiderman actually saves the bad guy. In Spiderman 1 Norman Osborn snuffs it when Peter jumps out of the way of the glider. In Spiderman 2, Doc Ock snuffs it when he destroys the device himself. In Spiderman 3, Eddie blows himself up and Harry gets stabbed. In The Amazing Spiderman, The Lizard saves Peter and in The Amazing Spiderman 2 Electro blows up. Homecoming however actually has Peter go out of his way to save the Vulture. It took us six movies but we finally got there. It' also the first Spiderman movie since Spiderman 2 not to end in a funeral.
The Groovy Movie Man well he did TRY to save Eddie in spiderman 3 but Eddie just jumped into the fire
The Groovy Movie Man Ikr. When Spiderman said "I'm trying to save you" I thought, "Damn, kill off the father/friend again like every other movie". Lately the villian dying has become cliche, especially in MCU films. This was a nice change of pace.
+Fernando Rivera Fair point. This is the first Spiderman film where Spiderman SUCCESSFULLY saves the villain. There we go. All fixed. As Beastinvader said too, it's nice that the villain didn't die as well at the end which is a nice change of pace.
The Groovy Movie Man yeah, I'm pretty sure the creators thought it'd be too much work to have to adress the fact that all the villains found out his identity so it would've been easier to just kill them off so this is a great change of pace
I believe that at one point Liz along with some other girls are talking about which heroes they'd kfm and when spider man is brought up Liz's friend reacts saying that his face could be burned. Possibly a nod to deadpool?
JD AX exactly
JD AX I doubt it
10:55 the way he said "greasy" made me laugh 😂😂 and also that slick transition to a Mack Weldon mini promotion
EVERYONE SINGLE ONE OF PETER PARKERS SHIRTS HAD EITHER MATHEMATICAL OR SCIENTIFIC REFERENCES AND I THINK THATS BEAUTIFUL :D
jakerist
"I lost an electron!"
"Are you positive?"
Except for the one that says "I survived a trip to NYC" that he wears after Tony takes away his suit.
Also, at the beginning of the movie when they’re walking in the school hall, Peters friend Ned has a t-shirt with an ant on it. At the end of the movie in the school hall, he has a t-shirt with a wasp on it.
H
Daniel Brown
Holy hell I didn't notice that
Yeah I noticed that!
Holy crap, that's a pretty minute detail. Nice catch!
Daniel Brown
Nice catch! Wow. I wouldn't have noticed that... at least not first watch, how many times have you seen the movie?
When Spider-Man in interrogating Arron Davis (Donald Glover) he is listening to "Donde Esta La Biblioteca" song from Community, just with a harder beat.
I also noticed that Iron Mans suit in this movie was pretty heavily based on his suit from Ultimate Spider-Man, which I thought was pretty cool
I don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but Peter's homemade Spider-Man suit is clearly reminiscent of Ben Reilly's homemade Scarlet Spider suit, albeit not identical.
The colors are reversed
No they're not
I laughed when he had to run through the park because he had nothing to swing from. It reminded me of playing Spider-Man 2 on the PS2 and failing the time trial runs because I couldn't make it through Central Park in time.
HeyItsEvan I thought the same thing! I loved seeing Spiderman go through that same struggle in the movie lol
Loved Spiderman 2. Game was my chidhood
Spider-Man's suit for Infinity War will be enhanced not by Stark, but by Mack Weldon
the infinity gauntlets power will be rendered useless against that sweet sweet antimicrobial weave
Mark Bagley is not only the artist on Maximum Clonage, he's also one half of the creative team behind the Ultimate Spider-Man comics title which this movie was heavily inspired by. So his name written in the graffiti is a fitting tribute.
When Peter is at the new Avengers facility, he is wearing a t-shirt that makes a joke about electrons, and his jacket is resting in a way that hides the letter "n" so it looks like it says Electro.
Coincidence? Probably.
COINCIDENCE, I THINK NOT
sorry, had to
yeah I think all of his casual tees said a science joke so it probably is a coincidence
That shirt actually references Iron Man 3 cause Pepper Potts has the same shirt and you see her wearing it in one scene
The poster behind Peter in the bank said, 'Identity Theft? We have you covered' I just thought it was perfect with all the robbers in avenger's masks.
Dimitrios Potsos Im pretty sure that was the joke
Well yes. This is a Easter Egg video. Hence why I'm pointing it out.
My names Jeff idiot
I believe you missed the car gag, where Spidey jacks Flash's car. There's a running joke in the comics that Peter Parker is a bad driver. He doesn't even have a permit
This time he even gets his permit. You can see him passing his driving test in a car commercial. But, yeah, he's a horrible driver.
Didn't Jonny Torch build his car and he crashed it in a canal?
Anyone else catch the shocker reference with Vulture making fun of the guy?
Vulture Guy: " Oh I'm the shocker I shoots shocks out of my hand!"
He's referencing shocker in the original spiderman show and the comics
zaki bereia because he is the shocker?
Yeah man, two versions of The Shocker were in this movie.
You're kinda slow, buddy.
zaki bereia you're slow as fuck man. actually watch the movie
"Anyone else catch the shocker reference?" LMAO, yeah, everyone did, that was the point.
Also a minor reference: When Ned is bugging (pun intended) Peter about his powers, asking if he can summon an army of spiders, how far his webs shoot, etc. The teacher can be heard mentioning the Sakovia Accords. Thought it was pretty cool how the accords are being talked of in school as if they're an important government bill, which they are in the MCU.
Kill Taunt Kill
I think he mentioned that in the video. It wasn't specific like your comment but he says something along the lines of "The accords in Civil War were also mentioned."
Kill Taunt Kill y
I think its funny how peters homemade costume was like Ben Reilly's first costume and how his "iron spider" costume also resembled Ben Reilly's costume from when he replaced peter as Spider-Man.
Xay Harris I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that
Thanks Im glad i wasnt as well.
Xay Harris i hope they do the clone saga. like ben reilly can break in too peters house and steal his homemade suit
If Star Wars is a movie in this universe, will no one wonder why Mace Windu looks like Nick Fury?
Marvel and starwars being cannon would make as much sense as star trek and lord of the rings being cannon
Really; how many people know what Nick Fury looks like? Or Fury has a side job along with credit card commercials.
It's gonna get messy when Han Solo comes out and Peter realises that Lando (played by Donald Glover) is the same guy that he interrogated (the prowler) and left webbed to a car.lol
It's the eye-patch. Maybe the prequels don't exist only the originals.
... or they could've had different actors or something
I loved how the Vulture opening the door for Peter (before the dance) was very much a throwback to The Green Goblin / Thanksgiving scene just the other way around.
Miles' uncle said that he had ice cream in his car when Spider-Man webbed his hand to the trunk. Miles was bit when he was was eating an ice cream pop. :D
and they might change the story a bit because its MCU so spiderman may not get killed off. On the other hand as Tom gets older he may not want to play spidey anymore and they could replace him
Or they can keep them both alive like in civil war 2 if I'm not mistaken
When Aaron Davis said he had a nephew, I freaked out
he dropped a mic on that one
how the shockers both had the yellow sleeves at one point
I think probably Doctor Strange is making timelines weird that's why
He forgot about how Liz's friends say "He's probably like 30" because Andrew and Tobey were both 30 in sm1 and asm1
edit: They weren't apparently, but the joke makes fun of how they were both way older than the character they were playing so yeah. Sorry!
Ameer Salim no they werent
Yvng Savage it could be an allusion to the fact that both actors were way older than the character they were playing.
Actually , Tobey (MaGuire ) , was , 25 (years old ) , and , Andrew (Garfield ) , was , ... . . . 27 years old . (When they started shooting , I believe ) . Anyways , it (might be ) , a (joke ) , towards that / them . (But , in a good / polite way , anyways )
Kyle d. James seems like a weird choice then considering Holland's much older than Spider-Man.
Oh sorry! Someone kept saying that they were 30.
when spiderman lands on flash's car, flash is talking to gwen stacy because he says "yah the brenzino at the house was not fresh" referencing the amazing spiderman 1 when peter was at captain stacy's house eating brenzino
No-one else noticed that when Donald Glover was buying weapons the other guy said something about climbers or something like that and he looked interested..??? PROWLER
When the AI of the suit scans him "Prowler" apears as one of his alias.
Declan Hartley-Brown Gasp! You beat me to commenting. I should've read ahead. I referenced to the effect that it might have been a Miles Morales Spider-Man allusion, but I prefer the way you think!
IIRC another alias listed is "Brian Pichelli", a combination of Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli, the creators of Miles Morales.
How about the voice the Spider-Man suite uses for interrogation? Didn't that sound like the Batman to you?
Y2J Gamer No shit... I meant that it sounded just like Batman. Not that a DC character was on Marvel
Y2J Gamer well not in the mcu but tobeys first or second spiderman movie, i think aunt may mentioned superman
'
First Suit in Eb
During the movie you could, though it was hard, find out that Spider-Man is the Peter Parker.
ElitePro Wait what? No, it's obviously Ned! He even wears Spider-Man's mask, it must be him. He's the only character in the film to wear the mask.
i thought spiderman was aunt may???
ElitePro What kind of bullshit is that? You're crazy man! Obviously Luke Skywalker is Spiderman
WHAT THE FU**!!!
Penis Parker?
I thought that the instant kill mode was hilarious, the eyes really got me.
CLL Drums yeah that was awesome. The eyes Made me think of Assassin Spider-Man. Which would make sense since it's an 'Instant Kill Mode'
I could see him using that in Infinity War VS Thanos and his army!
"dormammu i've come to bargain"
"I'm Mary Poppins, Y'all"
"I'm watching porn"
I still get people bargaining with me everyday since the reveal of that damn line.
Dormammu, I've come at bargain.
The19LAUNCH Not to nitpick, but I'm gonna nitpick. He said "I'm looking at porn"
phase 3 definitely has the best quotes thus far lmao
"are you tony stank?"
"okay then, trashpanda"
"if you're nothing without the suit, then you shouldn't have it"
The19LAUNCH penis Parker
When Peter was talking to the vulture in the warehouse, and he called his wings to fly toward him, and toward Peter's back, Peter backflipped over them just like how it happened with the goblin in Spider-Man 1 when he calls his glider in that end scene
That 8 years later thing got me really confused too. Hopefully Marvel will clear it up
Bat Spam101 It already has been. Iron Man 1&2, Thor, and Hulk ALL take place in 2008, and Avengers is early 2009. So Homecoming takes place around 2016/2017
Bodyslammingpixels I thought avengers took place in 2012
Bodyslammingpixels but I thought avengers took place in 2012....
Michael Gomez me too, that's what I thought
Bodyslammingpixels what's your source? I thought it had always been that releases coincided with the event timeline until GotG2 which is a few months or so after GotG1 hence baby Groot is still a baby.
In the elevator it was almost like Gwen's death
But Liz didn't die
Combo Show I got flashbacks when that scene happened. I was scared shitless. I thank God they didn't go that route.
Torus Brusk yep😂😂
Combo Show tom holland showing off to andrew garfield how to save ur gf
Combo Show I may or may notve yelled “THEIR NECKS SHOULDVE BROKE” when that happened in the theatre
"WHAT THE FU---"
-Aunt May, 2017
Leslie Knope hahah i died at that
Leslie Knope that made me laugh
😂😂
Doctor Durag the fact that we didn't is exactly what made that scene gold. The comedic timing in this movie was immaculate.
"Language please"
" bully's are just average looking dude who's just a prick for no reason " lol haha
Dunno if you noticed but Peter Parker is Spider-Man 👀
You piece of shit
Avengers is in 2009. All the Phase One films happened in the same year. Like IM2 happened the same week as Thor (Fury's Long Week), and IM2 was months after IM1.
Knightfall182 No.
First, It's Fury's BIG Week not long week
Second, Incredible Hulk also happens during this time
Third, According to the MCU Wiki, Avengers does Take place in 2012 While Fury's big week takes place in 2011
LOL. Wiki isn't a reliable source. It's user submitted. You gotta go by what's in the films. All the Phase 1 stuff did indeed happen at the same time. It flows together. Cap being unfrozen was really recent in Avengers.
DID NOBODY ELSE NOTICE THE "MAXIMUM EFFORT" TRACK IN THE MUSIC CREDITS?!?!#DeapoolSpidermanBromance
I knew I'm not the only one
I saw it.
Joseph Koechling Bromance???
Joseph Koechling yep
Did anybody notice the "the room" easter egg were he goes in the scene of the shop randomly to the cat and pets it???
Sebastian Brink OH HI MARK
Omg, no i never realised that, thank you
You missed that Peter Parker _doesn't_ know how to dance in this MCU and has to be taught by his hot Aunt unlike in the Raimi Spider-Man Universe where that Peter Parker knew how to dance _horrifically_ whose Aunt was likely a Flapper
Tyler Casilio this is the first comment on UA-cam that has ever made me actually laugh out loud
Chase Taber Very glad you liked it! lol 😄
That's not an easter egg or a reference tho, you're just comparing the two
Gamer Ricans .... because every comment on here is talking about an Easter Egg. Mine was a joke...
Loved this film. Not a single complaint from me.
DarkSouljah that's awesome. And please don't take this the wrong way cause I really mean it, but at least YOU enjoyed it that much
Movie was fucking awesome.
Of course tons of people complain about every little thing. Don't know what everyone expect out of a cheesy character like Spiderman.
DarkSouljah my complaint was that I had no idea what the fuck was happening during the fight scenes
most people who complained are the nostalgia warriors that still bitching how Tobey is the only Spiderman for them.
My only complaint was that the ENTIRE movie could have been avoided by the sentence "Sir, there is lots to do and any contracts that were awarded by the city will be honored with other work in less classified areas or paid out so you'll still make your money" in the first two minutes of the film. Otherwise it was great.
Jennifer Connelly voices Spidey's AI Karen and is married to Paul Bettany who voiced Tony's AI Jarvis. Like some sort of bloody, AI family going on...
Fionn Burrows yeah, Paul and Jennifer mention that in interviews. Good catch.
Not only does he have Star Wars toys in his bedroom, but specifically has an AT-AT, which was the inspiration for the leg-wrapping trick from "that old film" that he uses when tripping up Giant-Man.
Two things you missed - cleverly, there are posters on the wall in the gym or cafeteria that say "Go get 'em, Tigers!", obviously a reference to MJ's famous line, and that's why you can see a tiger randomly running from one side of the shot to another in some scenes in the school. Secondly, in the gym there are posters that have the word "Champions" on them, possibly referencing the team of heroes from the comics, which Miles Morales, the other Spider-Man, was/is a part of.
I was wondering what was up with that mascot! Thank you!
Happy to help my man!!
Billbo The Negative Pagan Holy shit, great catch dude!
Haha thank you! I was watching the background keenly for my second time watching just so I didn't miss anything like that :3
11:54....ironically as you was saying anything else that's been missed is a picture of Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner up on the classroom wall with other brilliant scientists
That's actually quite cool! :O
Why isn't Spider-Man on the class wall
Daryl Lindsey he literally said that earlier in the video...
Clayton Rath Yeeeah I missed it.Time?
s a k u n i
irony definition #3
a literary technique, originally used in Greek tragedy, by which the full significance of a character's words or actions are clear to the audience or reader although unknown to the character.
it was clear to me the audience but unknown to the character doing the video.Video in this case replaces literary technique.
I'll keep the post as is 👍
I absolutely loved the score by Michael Giacchino at the beginning. It was an amazing remodel of the original Spider-Man theme.
"u know theyre clothes..u wear them!" im dead! hahaha
A great end credit seen would have been Ned sitting in detention for watching "Porn" hahaha
should of replaced the vulutre after credits scene
A little mistake is in homecoming when giant man appears he says "what the hell he's big now" and in civil war he screams "holy shit!"
joe lisiecki he says 'holy shit' after
joe lisiecki awesome film though. Loved it!
Harrison Workman
Wait so he reacts twice? That doesn't really make sense
Constable Solosolave Why not?
he first saw Giant-man through his phone and said ''what the hell he is big now'' but the ''holy shit'' reaction is when he see's him through his own eyes.
Me: (watching video)
Mom: (comes in room)
What are you watching?
Me: (frantically closes computer)
I'm - I'm looking at - porn . . .
Mom: . . .
Koopa Productions Not really
Owen Lam stolen from modern family
Carter Mabry 8iooo
About the Miles Morales, there’s a deleted scene of Aaron Davis calling Miles! So if Miles can call him then I’m pretty sure he’s not a baby.
Just check out the deleted scene.
WHAT ABOUT THE SPONGEBOB REFERNCE? BECAUSE PLANKTON NAMED HIS COMPUTER WIFE, CARREN
Rick and Abby Show Karen*
Perenara I'm not a grammar nazi, this guy is just stupid wtf is a carren
What the fuck is Carren...
Plankton's wife left him for Spider-Man, huh? Interesting.
And there's no reason to be harsh to the guy. Sure, he misspelled the name, but so what? Did he somehow hurt either of your feelings by spelling a name wrong? Yeah, correct it, but you can do it without insulting the guy. You should correct him to help him, not to belittle him.
Besides, he still got the reference. And a lot of other people wouldn't have if he hadn't commented it. So, again, what wrong did he do?
Mack Weldon!
Clothes that make you say: "Mack, well done!"
Can we talk about how gangster the vulture is (spoilers btw) my son pulled a gun out on Peter and then when he went to jails he didn't snitch because Peter saved him like oh shit ode respect I hope the vulture comes back
Elijah Gibbs Yeah I did like that scene, however i like to think it's more in relation to Vulture as a villain. He doesn't want to show all his cards to Scorpion. Vulture is good at being street smart and knows how and when to play his cards. Could play a role if they take the sinister 6 route.
cpfcislife I can definitely see that but i think it's more respect because he said it was about respect when talking about Liz but he could just switch up out of no where
I noticed the Lego death star is the one from 2008, but the Palpatine figure Ned holds up is from 2015!
ClassicSpace-Shirt-Guy dude that's the 2017 one, there's a new death star
LEGO Aaroncy no! In the movie you can see some of the other figures like the death star troopers, and they are the ones from 2008 and so is the laser cannon near the trash compactor. They only used the newer Palpatine figure to trick us into thinking it's the 2016 re-release!
ClassicSpace-Shirt-Guy calm your bricks man
ClassicSpace-Shirt-Guy dude it's a fucking Lego ship calm down
I also noticed that.
Bruce banner on his science class wall
James Reveley Howard Stark is a mural on the wall too
That was shown in the trailer wasn't that much of an waster egg
i really liked how they depicted peter as a 14 year old boy when he ask for help after the building collapse, was really needed to give perspective of the character!
Cako Fuentes *15
Mac Gargan was bloody named!
I was about to say the same thing! They call his name out on the ferry, and cunningly focus on his neck tattoo in the same shot...
Thank you!
