I seen them in Atlanta on that tour and yes that is Steve Vai Adrian Vandenberg on the other guitar Rudy Sarzo on base and of course Tommy Aldridge on drums .
So was I. I was 18 and my first time at MOR, very good memories - although a bit fuddled by the time Whitesnake came out, following numerous visits to the beer tents. I remember Vai's solo though. Also adrian Vandenburg did a solo.
When I think back to the original Whitesnake of 1978 to 1983 this is pretty awful really, known in many circles by this time as Trousersnake due to David's rather one track lyrical content and despite some great musicians his voice was already getting pretty ropey, I'll stick with being a dinosaur as far as Whitesnake goes.
