Question: Is there a way to show a TIME timeline in Canva video editing? That is, a line that goes on top of or under the pages while you're editing that shows where pages are in total time? I know that each page will tell you how long it is individually, I'm looking to know where elements are in total time. For example, If I look at the download and see there's a problem at 2 minutes 12 seconds in a 7 minute piece, is there a way I can look at the project and know where 2:12 is without having to add up individual page durations? It would be such a help to editing an overall piece. Thanks for any help.

What about the audio? I added a frame and all my audio shifted! Can you lock the audio to the video it's meant to be connected to? Appreciate your great tips!
Not at the moment. I have suggested this to the team though. It’s super frustrating right now. Hoping for some big updates soon.
When I click on the lock icon and see the pencil on it, it does not allow me to add a video. It shows me the warning "you need to unlock..." In addition, The instructions in the support pages says when you add video in a slide, the timing is changed automatically according to the length of the video and they give some suggestions to adjust the timing of the slide but they do not mention anything about what you are showing. It might have been changed since you made this video or I am doing something wrong. Any ideas?

MKe sure you are selecting the page at the bottom and unlock.

Are you locking the page, it sounds like you might be locking the video. Make sure it is the page you have selected and not the video.
Hi Darren, I have one video that plays 30 seconds and wants to create three pages, 10 seconds each, with their own wording for each page. Would you happen to know how I can do that? I do not want to start a new video on each page. Thank you.
I’m sure it’s possible. But I’m a little unsure what you mean.
@@DarrenM Hi Darren, let me rephrase it, I have a 30-second video clip; I want to create three pages (10 seconds each) by breaking 30 seconds video into three clips; the first page will play the video into 1st second, then the second page will start the video clip at 11 seconds then the final page starting at 21 seconds. Does it make sense? What I did create was three pages with 10 seconds each but start the video clip at the first second on each page (this is not what I wanted). I hope it makes sense. Thanks.

I do create tons of 'visuals' on my Canva Pro accounts, but what could be the advantage of using PIXLR E as well concerning video posts? There is an update coming to Canva that will help you. Keep an eye out for my video later this week or next week. But there is full element timing coming to Canva.
