Playing on the hardest difficulty, the challenge has never been greater, but neither has the thrill of triumphing over adversity. This was played on Rimworld 1.5 with the Royalty, Ideology, Biotech and Anomaly DLC enabled. The difficulty is the losing is fun preset on 500% threat with the Randy Random storyteller. I discovered a piece of flesh luckily directly on the colonists meditation spot. Imprisoned and interrogated right away and luckily it was stopped early
Love how they added a separate thread for pawn pathfinding. You can see how much better bigger colonies run in game now.

I feel like there should be a scenario where you'd have to stop these cults from forming via raiding enemy bases

Aftee this ending the character you sent to embrace the void will come back to your colony with new traits
4 times revival (meaning you have to kill them t tines to kill them for good)
Inhuman trait
And void touched trait that removes the needs of your character to sleep and recreation
New ability too: void terror. 3hr cooldown 5 charges. Force horror mental break. Pretty cool
Sounds incredible for a solo superman run.

I survived the void. Got sucked into a void room, knocked down a lot, and was even eaten whole by a Devourer, but through it all I lived to see the void be removed by Silver, by embracing it. What a playthrough. I'm doing my own as well and surviving through it. Looking forward to more playthroughs from you. Wouldn't mind seeing a playthrough about surviving and doing a spaceship launch with the Saurid Mother start from the Vanilla Races Expanded - Saurids mod.
Anomaly has a gameplay I'd never thought I would like, but I was surprised with it

Silver died, was brought back to life, became the faction leader, fought and won a war against darkness and then embraced the void. She must be the most badass pawn in existence of Rimworld damn.

it's probably been said already, but it bothers me that chronophagy wasn't used more
it's basically bioregeneration on steroids, fixing multiple scars and multiple old age problems in one fell swoop, honestly i'd consider the de-aging part a bonus instead of its main purpose

From dealing with berserk prisoners, what you want to do with the golden cube is take all affected pawns, put them in seperate rooms, build a wall over the door and wait out their berserk state. Given that sleep effectively ends mental break(exhaustion collapse), have them work until 2% rest, and do the steps above. They will be mad, won't destroy doors because they have no path, and they will soon collapse from exhaustion and be ready for work by tomorrow. No risk,fast recovery, easy implementation and consistent outcome(they won't die due to RandyG, and you can draft them and feed them wake up if you have an emergency!)
I'm only 15 minutes in, but I already heard Atrium Carceri (I assume OST from Leviathan) and Project Zomboid OST. This is going to be a good video, I can already tell.

If the huge pile of monster corpse receive deadlife dust, you'll have an army (it kill tps too)
P/S: new update make the ending even harder. Among groups of monster attack you in waves now include shamblers to break your walls
Hope you play difficult biome with new benefits of abnormally that will be so cool.
I feel like the revenant is particuarly annoying if it gets out, so it's best to give it it's own containmnet cell for maximum secuirty.

I was worried for a moment there and thought I missed part 4 at first.

I found that have a hallway with 2 block wide walls, with 2 block long path at a right angle leading to the door cuts down on the number of enemies shooting into a door. While sandbands and embrasuires give cover to friend pawns shooting at a door. Maybe add in spike traps or ieds in reinforced kill tunnels outside the door. Really don't see why people build these more.

When I played I noticed a lot of things in this DLC are kinda annoying and I have the feeling this DLC is the kind you switch off sometimes or need a mod to fix because it kinda just completely takes over a play through. Like it's nice to have access to the extra content and to interact with it by choice but I don't want all of it all of the time. I miss human raids.
