    Is that oil pump for a tt gte or ge vvti? And where did you get it. And yes we want to see a full video on shimming the buckets 😁

      Its a ge pump. Gte typically puts way too much pressure into engine and could cause some issues. I got i from rock auto!

    Planning on dropping a 2jz in my brz it may take like 2yrs but it’s worth it

      If the car is working already, do not start the swap till you have everything

      @@RabidJz I'm in the middle of 1jz vvti swap in my s13, did the same. took me 1 year to get 90% of the parts. Now I'm in the middle of the swap, and it's the little things that are taking up time

    I just got another GE VVTi head, gonna do shimless buckets and ball out on this one.

    Clean.
    curious how you did your buckets.. I ened up leaving mine as is and removing material from the back of my valves with a grinder bolted to a lathe with the valve spinning in the chuch and a dial indicator to show the distance by thou of an inch how much travel i was making for material removal 😂😅 Where there's a will there's a way. ended up with spot on clearances, and a little lapping can tighten it up a bit if a smidgen too loose

      So long as you have shimless buckets, then you wont have to go through all that nightmare. You wont even have to remove the springs
