Love your collection. So many people don’t understand chypre fragrances. Those are classics. Everyone are into sweet fragrances these days which I also like but chypre is my all time favorite category.
I love Shalimar on others & out of the bottle but on me it's pure bug spray, darn body chemistry. My favorite early fall scent is Chamade by Guerlain, a beautiful classic hyacinth green scent that is so fresh & clean and smells like pure class. Such a hidden gem
Love Private Collection so much! I fell in love with it in the late 70’s-80’s as a young girl and still love it! Knowing is so delicious too! My mom wore EL Aliage… a gritty earthy green fragrance back in the day. It’s impossible to find, but now she prefers sweeter fragrances. Ahhh the scent memories❤️!

Just owning some of the Estée Lauder fragrances makes me proud to have grown up in the 80’s! I wish Beautiful was suitable with my chemistry! I gave my original formula away..... but Knowing..... YES PLEASE
One of my favourite categories of fragrance! Absolutely adore Habanita but only on occasion. One of my go to chypres is Clinique Aromatics Elixir. It's not as scary as people think. It's glorious in moderation in colder weather 😁.
I’m enjoying CK’s Secret Obsession in our very hot Georgia Fall weather! Also- snapped up a bottle of EL’s Knowing!!! It’s always been a fave of mine! Was so excited to find it at Marshall’s! I wore it in middle and highschool! I’m 47 and just always loved ‘serious’ perfumes!!! I know what you mean about cigarette smoke smell! I don’t smoke but I enjoying the fragrance wafting through the air on a hot or cool day! Love your videos! Keep it up!

I have been enjoying my perfumes and have added some to my collection. I love Meliora as well! My favorite fall perfume thus far has been Givenchy L’interdit Intense (it’s fairly new). It has very interesting notes of roasted black sesame, black pepper, and vanilla on top of the tuberose/orange blossom of the original (which is also love). It’s glorious!
I love Knowing for fall and winter. Private Collection, to me, smells best when just barley applied. However, Mitsuko is perhaps not only my favorite chypre, but maybe my favorite scent of all time. Thank you for covering one of my favorite perfume classifications. Stay safe.
I haven’t seen Nikki saint phalle, in a very long time. I did own it back in the 80s and used to love that bottle, but I do remember it being very unique and a little sweet smelling. The 80s had some unusually sweet perfumes. Another one, was Gianfranco Ferre. I like the the way you tested the perfume by the cap and the nozzle, great tip.

I love MAC Ruby Woo! and no one ever mentions it. I only hear about Velvet Teddy and Candy Yum Yum.. sometimes Creme d’Nude. Ruby Woo is overlooked! I get a lot of leather mixed with the cherry but more of an old leather, bookish type of scent. It’s sexy and perfect for Fall.
At the moment I’m wearing Ariana Grande Cloud mixed with Elizabeth Arden Mediterranean, I know weird mix lol. But for the fall I LOVE Narcisso by Narcisso Rodriguez and Burberry Body

I just can't with habanita. It doesn't smell how anyone describes. Its powery bitter mossy, husky/rough. The florals ate old school pot pourri vibe. I get it i have a sample, which i like to sniff, but just cant wear it.
