And now she's holding her family hostage by saying she'll take her own life. She has no heart.

These are people who brainwashed l had done the same stupid thing as she did a few months ago. She feels she feels in a unhappy marriage. Her husband and her need to go on vacation and needs to be totally honest with each other. She needs to either end the marriage and go on her own.
Oh my! I'm so sorry 😞. These criminals know exactly how to target vulnerable victims and take advantage. The thing that kills me is these same victims would NEVER give money to random strangers they meet on the street or in the library, etc. But they sure do send cash to these people they met online and even believe they are real. A scammer almost got my mom. He rang up her phone and confirmed her birthday, full name, and home address. Then he said she had missed jury duty and would be arrested in front of all the neighbors for contempt of court. However to save her embarrassment/jail time she could pay a $5000 fine if she brought cash to the unmarked, "undercover" policeman who would meet her on the side road of the courthouse. She said she had trouble walking and the scammer said, "No problem, by law we must accommodate disabilities. Tell me what make and model your car is and I will come to you in the parking lot." So Mom hung up and called me crying and asking how to get $5k in cash as soon as possible because blah, blah, blah. I told her it was a scam and she didn't believe me. I raced home from work to stop her. She called Dad, who was out of town, and couldn't reach him but left him a message. It was awful. I had to take her car keys and she was screaming mad. 😱She was yelling what a terrible daughter I am, I don't understand how serious the crime of mistakenly missing jury duty is, etc. Finally after even more hysterics about maybe being arrested, etc. I said, "Let's call the courthouse and they can confirm this information." The courthouse said they had been trying to catch these scammers for a while. Mom still didn't believe me, so I called the sheriff who said it was a scam. I then called the police who said it was a scam. I said, "Mom, if you pay a traffic ticket, do you hand cash to the cop? No. Mom, have you ever paid anything official by meeting a stranger with no uniform and no ID in a parking lot???!!" A few hours later my dad called to say it's a scam. Finally she believed it was a scam. My mother is very street smart and the scammers almost got her because of her pride. She didn't want to be "arrested" in front of the neighbors because she had never been "in trouble" with the law in her entire life. Sigh, may all these scammers go on an express ticket directly to hell.
Mark Twain said it’s easier to fool a person than to convince them they were fooled. You should be extra careful and maybe talk to the police, because your mother is probably on what’s called a “sucker’s list”. That means they will try to scam her again, even if she has no money left: they can convince her to make bank loans or to inadvertently laundry money for them. Look for W5’s videos on these scammers. Best of luck to you!
@@lizzieck2576 Yes there are sucker lists. My friend fell victim 3 times! The second and third time the "men" reached out to her randomly and initiated contact. 😬
What is so sophisticated about these scammers? They say they love you in the first 10 minutes of meeting you. Their wife just died and left him with the little one, usually a son, who needs a mommy and they need $10 to do whatever. And they call you dear and live on a rig or military base. Everybody knows this already. No excuse to be throwing money out the window.
In three hours a scammer had fallen in love with me, proposed to me and I was planning our honeymoon. I chose a romantic beautiful resort in a holiday town… In Nigeria 🤣🤣🤣
Many of the victims tend to just "fill in the blanks" and create the perfect image of the fantasy they desire. The scammers lay down the loose foundation and the victims build the home.

The woman who was scammed may be in the early stages of dementia. If she would not normally say things like she never loved her husband, it’s certainly a possibility.
I hope that's the case. At least then her sweet, loyal husband will have some comfort in knowing she's literally losing her mind. He's such a good guy 😢
She should have asked her loving family if they needed the 50 grand before she sent it off to some stranger.... Would she write a cheque for 50 grand to someone she met on the street...Well that's exactly what happened.. In her case 'The Street' being the Internet....
AT LEAST she would have actually MET the person on the street. I am a very empathic, compassionate woman, but I have trouble feeling any sort of sorrows for this woman, but I will definitely pray for her that she gets some serious therapy. How easily manipulated & naive people can be...that's what is really sad. I get her husband doesn't believe in divorce, but why continue to live a lie with a woman who does not love you.
I don’t feel bad for her at all. She has a husband of 41 years that she was stealing from for a man that was definitely out of her league. She had no business lying to and cheating on her husband. She deserves to have her heart broken.
I think I am in a similar scam... I blocked all contact with that person as I watched this video. Thank you for posting this video and my heart goes out to the victim and her family. God Bless!!
I'm only a few minutes in, but man, this woman is a piece of work. I've felt sorry for every other victim but she's the worst. Who leaves their entire family in the dust for an internet fantasy? Then she has to tell her husband she never loved him. The cherry on top of everything is that she threatened to off herself to avoid the consequences of her actions. I know from my own exes that only super manipulative people hold something like that over their family/partner's heads. She is checking off boxes right and left.
OMG. This lady is a disgrace as a wife, a mother and a grandmother. She has a beautiful loving family and a extremely patient husband. Instead of being the matriarch of this family she has chosen to be the fool. God bless this husband. There are no words for this type of betrayal. If her husband had done this to her the world would be outraged. Why should she get a pass! And then threatened to kill herself to inflict even more pain in her family. This lady really needs help.
How could you feel bad for this person? She has everything you could want: family, love, stability, etc. and she was willing to throw it away for a stranger? Her tears are not of sadness or remorse but of self pity. What a yucky selfish person
When they can't retire because she gave away 50K she'll be complaining all over the place probably. Her family, especially her husband, are far far nicer than I would be in that situation.
I'd give up everything to have a family like hers i don't understand why she would do this. She has people that actually love her and she doesn't appreciate it at all sad
The perfect response to these love struck people is to tell them it could easily be a 15 year boy or girl. That was a great response and shut it down in her mind right away. Good move!
So her ex-husband is now available? Maybe I should check him out. At least he's in my age range. And I like the way he said dadgummit or whatever he said instead of cursing.

She did wrong. But her husband isn’t a good man (“I don’t believe in divorce” is a red flag).
She got a lot of nerve to treat her husband this way
The fact that she on-camera crying over another man and she's got a whole husband is nothing short of heartless.
I normally would not say this, but this is what she gets. She tossed aside a stable relationship for a cheap thrill. Her greed could have cost her more than just money if her family were not so forgiving.

@@Kyra_of_Kerkyra Yes, it's much more effective to explain up front that it's usually a group of Nigerian scammers who use the same tactics.
