I myself work in a hospice and know how tiring and emotionally draining that can be. Sometimes it's better to be alone than to be with someone who does not love, support and respect you. I think I know this guy, I swear it's him!! I've lived in Arizona near Phx my whole life. Several years ago I was a dancer and Robert would come in very frequently usually during the day. (a lot of older men would come during the day because the cover is cheaper) I mostly worked nights, but the times I came in earlier I would often see him at the same table. He would mostly talk to the dancers and try to get more than just private dances (not going to happen lol) and he would act like a few dancers were his gf (also not going to happen but some men do get delusional with the dancers they regularly see). I didn't deal with him that much, a few dances here and there, but I definitely remember his face and just the way he was. It's absolutely wild to see him here, I just found this channel recently and I've been binge watching. Though I'm not surprised he would do something like this either. I've watched a few of these now. And what I don't understand is how can these intelligent, articulate elderly people can be so deluded. What happened to this generation? How can anyone reach their 70's and be so naive, so deluded, so easily duped? It makes no sense. I'm in my 70's and these stories fill me with horror. There is so much you can do in your 70's that is fun, uplifting and enjoyable with real people in real life if you just look at what's around you. Church groups, local choirs, sailing clubs, walking groups. Just going to your local pub, even if you don't drink alcohol, buy a zero alcohol beer, sit down and get chatting to people. It's all so tragic. Maybe the internet is the curse of this age. Before the internet people had to connect in real life. My mum joined a local tap dancing group in her late 70's and did a season at the local forum with a dance group. There's so much to do, so many good people to meet out in the real world. Volunteer in a charity shop. For God's sake, anything but this nightmare.

While many people condemn this man for cheating on his wife with the women online, we should also spare a thought for those women whose photographs were deceptively used as bait to attract men online. Those women are not the people whom they say they are. Somehow they obtained photos of innocent women, e.g. actresses, sportswomen etc and used them as their own. In other words, they are using photos of innocent people who have no connection with this scam. Those photos could be of married women, wrongly accused of two- timing, which could create hell in their home lives.

For REAL! I used to be a hospice nurse and it is undoubtedly rewarding work, but VERY difficult. In fact, while I was pregnant with my second child, I had a six month old baby come onto my hospice service. It wrecked me. When my son was born, I left my job and never went back into nursing.

I had originally wanted to be an OB or postpartum nurse but found pretty quickly that it was not the right fit. You think about the joy of birthing babies, holding them, feeding them, and taking care of happy parents. You don't think about the times when the baby doesn't make it, is born with a major complication, or mom goes south. When I was in postpartum while still in nursing school there was a baby born without kidneys. Didn't last long, of course. That was one of the big moments that helped me decide that old people are more my speed.

I think I know this guy, I swear it's him!! I've lived in Arizona near Phx my whole life. Several years ago I was a dancer and Robert would come in very frequently usually during the day. (a lot of older men would come during the day because the cover is cheaper) I mostly worked nights, but the times I came in earlier I would often see him at the same table. He would mostly talk to the dancers and try to get more than just private dances (not going to happen lol) and he would act like a few dancers were his gf (also not going to happen but some men do get delusional with the dancers they regularly see).
I didn't deal with him that much, a few dances here and there, but I definitely remember his face and just the way he was.

I've watched a few of these now. And what I don't understand is how can these intelligent, articulate elderly people can be so deluded. What happened to this generation? How can anyone reach their 70's and be so naive, so deluded, so easily duped? It makes no sense. I'm in my 70's and these stories fill me with horror. There is so much you can do in your 70's that is fun, uplifting and enjoyable with real people in real life if you just look at what's around you. Church groups, local choirs, sailing clubs, walking groups. Just going to your local pub, even if you don't drink alcohol, buy a zero alcohol beer, sit down and get chatting to people. It's all so tragic. Maybe the internet is the curse of this age. Before the internet people had to connect in real life. My mum joined a local tap dancing group in her late 70's and did a season at the local forum with a dance group. There's so much to do, so many good people to meet out in the real world. Volunteer in a charity shop. For God's sake, anything but this nightmare.

I was friends with a couple years ago that the wife worked with the elderly and her husband was "retired". He battled cancer and his wife took care of him thru all of it. Then he rehooked up on line with a woman he knew in high school. He was in his 70s. He leaves his wife for this woman. Wife filed for divorce and makes sure he can't access her money. The second the new girl finds out he's broke and sick, she dumped him. Then he had the nerve to see if his ex will take him back. She didn't. Guys like this are living in a fantasy land.

I'm currently watching all these videos and this one is the worst so far. I have a lot of empathy for people who make stupid decisions because they feel lonely and want to cling on this fantasy that there is someone who truly loves and cares about them, but this one is on a completely different level.

While many people condemn this man for cheating on his wife with the women online, we should also spare a thought for those women whose photographs were deceptively used as bait to attract men online. Those women are not the people whom they say they are. Somehow they obtained photos of innocent women, e.g. actresses, sportswomen etc and used them as their own. In other words, they are using photos of innocent people who have no connection with this scam. Those photos could be of married women, wrongly accused of two- timing, which could create hell in their home lives.

For REAL! I used to be a hospice nurse and it is undoubtedly rewarding work, but VERY difficult. In fact, while I was pregnant with my second child, I had a six month old baby come onto my hospice service. It wrecked me. When my son was born, I left my job and never went back into nursing.

I had originally wanted to be an OB or postpartum nurse but found pretty quickly that it was not the right fit. You think about the joy of birthing babies, holding them, feeding them, and taking care of happy parents. You don't think about the times when the baby doesn't make it, is born with a major complication, or mom goes south. When I was in postpartum while still in nursing school there was a baby born without kidneys. Didn't last long, of course. That was one of the big moments that helped me decide that old people are more my speed.
