Although I like all types of bacon, I have to agree with Tristan that it is often used as cover for less "noble" or fancy food. Since bacon is mostly presented in fine slices, it is seldom cooked as a solo dish. With bacon cubes, bell pepper, mushrooms and onions you can make tasty kebabs too. It's good you tried and liked bacon wrapped scallops. I like seafood and scallops in pancetta wrap, but I prefer them such as, pan seared in lemon garlic butter. Bravo Tristan for executing so professionally, whilst having this opinion about bacon. Suggestion for Aaron: use a sugar sprinkler? Enjoy your culinary exploration and have a great Labor Day.
It’s always so enjoyable watching Aaron and Tristan cook. The food looked delicious. I’ve never understood the enjoyment of hot chilis - I never have had any tolerance for spicy hot foods, but I know I’m an oddball.
Wow guys you did a fabulous job on the bacon and I too have never tried scallops and I finally can't wait to try it Tristan's way and I love the tip he told us and showed us about Scallops ..Thanks Tristan.
Nation bacon day?! What?! 😋 I didn’t know this was a thing! I made BLT’s for breakfast. They were pretty good. We need to try some other bacon recipes. Thanks for sharing! ☺️
OMG! Bacon wrapped scallops are SO good! My HOLE family loves them! To the point that my niece had them and bacon wrapped poppers as the appetizer for her wedding. They and dinner were buffet style and trust me she didn't skimp. Everyone got more than enough of them! The ones she had weren't as big as those though. They weren't the little bay scallops either, just between the two sizes. You get more per pound too. Don't use they tiny ones for obvious reasons. They are for scampi and alfredo. Everything looked wonderful!
Love these videos with Tristan and Aaron! What I'd like to know is how did you get cold tap water in Mesa in August? Doesn't exist where we live in Phoenix!
Thanks for the video!! I would love to see one on adult packed lunch ideas for work or college. It's always difficult to find new recipes that pack well, and are filling but not heavy (eg. Big bowl of pasta = post lunch food coma😅)
My husband going to love you. I've now taken things out for him to put in the smoker when he gets off a 10 day at work.. lol Much love and Be Blessed Pettit Family
Another good one to try if you guys haven’t already is the lil smokies sausages wrapped in bacon with some brown sugar sprinkled on top! My family would always make these for game days or new years. It’s a must try!
Tristan you should take those rings off while cooking. There is so much bacterial underneath the rings ,it doesn’t matter how much you wash your hands. No hate I love watching you cooking 👋🏻🇪🇪
Tristan place the bag inside a cup with edge overlapping the cup then scrap the cream cheese into the bag .its easy and not messy. when all is inside the bag just pull sides back up and close the bag. no mess
We Brits love bacon, although we tend to use back bacon not what we call streaky bacon. A bacon butty is delicious. Bread buttered, bacon and either ketchup of brown sauce(A1 sauce would probably work which by the way was invented by a chef at Buckingham palace).
We call the back stuff ‘salt pork’ here in Arkansas. It is much saltier than typical bacon here. Not as popular, in my opinion. My husband really likes it, but it has too much salt to consume very often for us!
@@susanreed9173 you can get low sugar and salt bacon and nitrate and nitrite free bacon in the uk. If we get Canadian bacon in the uk, it is usually beyond sweet as it is smothered in maple syrup.
@sandrabugler9813 ... You can Google scallop pronunciation and they'll be a little speaker symbol that you can click on to hear what it actually should sound like.
I love all your cooking episodes!! I only wish you had a standard written recipes. My hubby hates watching videos so a written one would be awsome. I know Tristan estimates mesurements but an approximate one would work
you can write the recipe down while watching the video that way your husband doesn't have to watch the video for the recipe, write the approximation and have husband tweak to your tastes
It's interesting what well cooked bacon looks and feels like. My mum only bought shoulder bacon. My Dad hated the fatty rind so he woukd give that to me so I never ate bacon for years. It wasn't until I was a young aduld that I discovered streaky bacon. It's the fat that I love the most and prefer it mkre well done. I don't often eat it but it was on special this week so I got some.
Please. For us regular people do a show with hot dogs or with turkey or bread or with I don't know, what regular people can afford. How about veggies. Please don't stop thinking about us.
These look good but I’m scared to try jalepeno poppers cause I’m not a fan of really hot and spicy things so if anyone on the comments want to tell me how spicy they actually are then I might try them
If you are looking for non pork bacon, there is beef, duck, and turkey bacon. And there is plant based bacon. The results of the cooking will probably be different.
I would like to see Tristan & Lucas Cook together. Maybe some sort of series
Agree, ik Lucas loves cooking & i think he can learn a lot from Tristan regarding cooking. Make it happen Tristan!
yesssss

Candied bacon is amazing !!!
Oh my goodness…..my mouth is watering so bad! Everything looked so delicious! ❤
I know all that bacon. I bet the house smelled amazing. Now I want some 😋
Wow guys you did a fabulous job on the bacon and I too have never tried scallops and I finally can't wait to try it Tristan's way and I love the tip he told us and showed us about Scallops ..Thanks Tristan.
Love bacon, and those poppers ( that's what I call them) look so good yum 😋
Candied bacon, with a cold slice of cheese (I like cheddar, but you can use your favorite) on bread with mayo.. best sandwich.
I enjoy watching these videos ❤
My husband from Digby home of the world famous Scallops. So good fresh off the boat
Nation bacon day?! What?! 😋 I didn’t know this was a thing! I made BLT’s for breakfast. They were pretty good. We need to try some other bacon recipes. Thanks for sharing! ☺️
All three looked so good but I would like to try the jalapeno caramelized bacon.
You can’t ever go wrong with bacon! Yum! I use Emeril’s Essence in my cream cheese. It’s delicious!
Everything looked delish. I use my strawberry huller to hull out the jalapenos.
Love Tristan and your family from Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Pigs in blanket is another good one to try
Pigs in a blanket doesn't have bacon.
@@kels0jade6pigs in blankets is literally sausage wrapped in bacon
Yum, I love bacon! 🥓
I love scallops. It’s my favorite.
No wonder why i ate bacon yesterday and today thank you for letting me know

I would love to see Cody, Tristan, Lucas, Alex, Max and Landon cooking together...or all the boys cooking togetther. ♥
All the older boys over 14
Yeah, I agree that all the boys should cook and maybe the girls too

You always make me so hungry. I want to try the bacon wrapped scallops. I have had the other two.
Looked delicious 😊
You should try chocolate covered bacon 🍫 🥓
Yum. Now I am hungry.
You guys should try to make Puertorrican mofongo 😊

Came out the Sunday before Labor day.
I asked my supervisor for national bacon day off because, hello, BACON! they said no. 😂
You need a cooking show called, "Ten Out of Ten"
Tristan you should take those rings off while cooking. There is so much bacterial underneath the rings ,it doesn’t matter how much you wash your hands. No hate I love watching you cooking 👋🏻🇪🇪
He's not cooking for you so it shouldn't affect you.
OMG, I love bacon scallops!
Bacon just is the perfect comfort food.
Aaron at 815 you touched the rag on your shoulder then scratched your head then put the brown sugar on the bacon. Love your channel by he way.
Living in Massachusetts we have grown up eating scallops wrapped in bacon 🥓
Tristan place the bag inside a cup with edge overlapping the cup then scrap the cream cheese into the bag .its easy and not messy. when all is inside the bag just pull sides back up and close the bag. no mess
the container the brown sugar is in is from walmart. they now have grey lids
To whoever was asking about that container for their brown sugar walmart has them the brand is mainstays and it's about 7 or 8 dollars

Scallop drinking game...... Take a shot every time Tristan says (and mispronounces) the word "SCALLOP" 😂😂😂
In northern New England we say "scawlip". Is that how you pronounce it?
Lol my drinking game is every time he says I'm gonna go ahead and....good thing I only watch on weekends! :)

My husband wraps scallops with a whole piece of bacon so they are covered and oh soooo good.
He cooks them on a grill in a foil pan to catch all the grease that could catch the grill on fire.

I love bacon wrapped scallops, but I can't eat them anymore, I'm allergic.
My step dad use to make a poor man bacon covered scallops 😂 Water chestnuts wrapped in bacon 🥓 😋 They were delicious 😋 😂😂😂
Those are the best alernative festive delicacies.

You should try pip free dates wrapped in bacon in oven as great starters
I had a club sandwich today 😂
Made me hungry and popper is too hot for me. 🥰🥰🥰
I would love to see a cousins cook together with Tristan and Aubrey.
SOOOOOOO YUMMY!!!!!!
My husband and I love scallops! However, he became allergic in his early 30s so we don’t have them anymore 😢
Have you ever made a 🥓 bacon apple 🍎 pie? It is really good
I have seen bacon wrapped pickles
take muffin tin turn it upside down and stand the peppers in the opening to fill.
Tristan how do u get jalapeno juice off ur hands
Try chocolate covered bacon
😊 I love bacon!
