I love the honesty of everyone's reactions. Everyone has different taste. I wouldn't even try Panda Express but I'd try Tristans orange chicken 😊. I'm a very finicky eater. Much love from Wilsonville Oregon
Every time I see Evie trying new foods, I get so happy and giddy! Autism and sensory processing disorder is so hard in our home and my daughter ate something new for the first time today & watching this just makes me feel like there’s hope for my little ones!
I've always only eaten a small range of food for two reasons. The first being that I was diagnosed with crohns disease since I was a little girl. I wasn't able to explain that I didn't want fo eat certain food because it hurt my tummy. The second is that I am on the spectrum but I was not diagnosed until I was an adult. For the past five or so years I've made myself try new ingredients, textures and combination of ingredients. I love to cook and so I make my own food opposed to takeaways or eating at a restaurant which meant I could leave out some ingredients that I don't like for example anything spicy. It's been hard to do that as an adult so I know what a big deal it was for your daughter to try something new. You must be so proud of her. The one thing I appreciate about being high functioning is that I could mask it and in my role as a teacher of year ones I easily saw the kids who were on the spectrum so I was able to get the child tested and with the diagnosis I could apply for funding that would be in place for the rest of the child's school years. I was doing that with 100% accuracy even before I was diagnosed. I think the fact that you sound so positive about your daughters accomplishment that she is lucky to have a mum who will support her through the difficult parts. There is a lot of hope for your little ones I promise you. 🩵💗💜
I don’t really cook, but I really enjoy watching these videos- especially watching Tristan’s cutting/chopping skills!!! 😊 And I like watching him try to top the kids favorite foods!
Tristan, you are so awesome. Your food looks amazing! Mark is literally the coolest. I love his dry humor and awesome personality. I say more videos with Mark!! Bryson is awesome too. He's always keepin it real. I love the whole family and this channel is really fun. Thanks all! 😘
So I had to try this. I like the panda express chicken but think it has so much breading and not a lot of sauce to chicken. I was very unsure of my skills, but I am a fan. It was a big success here at our house. We will eat it with noodles next time. I think we have a new dish. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I absolutely love orange chicken! But hate that it never taste like orange itself. Definitely will be trying this one at home!❤ I’d love to see a vegetarian dish that the kids have no idea is vegetarian! I love the trick ya healthier dishes that people are questioning did they eat some meat or not? I’d also love to see your take on gyros! It’s a basic dish but so yummmmy!
Tristan..that looks amazing !! I love how honest yall are with each other. In my opinion quality has been lacking with fast food as well as sit down restaurants for some time now. Thank you for showing us different recipes to try at home that are quick and simple
In my honest opinion Panda Express isn't that great. So I think homemade would definitely be better. I love Chinese food but that place at least around here isn't that great.
@user-id6tw3of1x yes I did . I'm glad they were understanding. i got my money back and offered a remake for free, but I turned down the remake .. I can't eat there again after that 😭
Tristan I so enjoyed this one with all the different tastier's so many opinions. Panda I'm sure is good but I know the length you went to in preparing that dish and the sauce looked amazing the richness. Now I think I've love sweet & sour taste but so want to try it your way. Thank You Tristan.
I love Tristan I just want to give him a hug I also wish that I could take him to Japan with me we would stay with my Brother my Brother lives in Japan
We don't have panda express in Australia and we don't really have orange chicken. Some places might sell American orange chicken but most places you go to will give you honey chicken. It's exactly how max describes the panda express orange chicken. Honey chicken is sweet but has a pop to it ❤
@@Boots840 you're not understanding what I'm saying. If you go to any of our Chinese/ Asian places and ask for orange chicken, they'll give honey chicken. It's simply an American thing.
@RieseTrost orange chicken literally came from China. It's made with orange peels. In the states they make it more traditional still. Sounds more like an Australians take on it in general.
@@Boots840 get lost mate. The only orange chicken you'll get here, is if you make your own, it's not traditional enough to be a staple here and our Chinese/Asian culture is big considering its this side of the equator. Don't try and come at me for information you know nothing about. America is advertised to the world. Australia isn't. Unless you've been here, shush 🫶
@RieseTrost lmfao. Actually, there's quite a bit about Australia blasted to America, but I can see you're too dense to absorb the information. Good luck with that.
I had a flashback to my roommate attempting to fry chicken in my wok. I came home from work to find her hiding under the kitchen table while hot grease was shooting all over the kitchen. I had to grab a chair cushion to get close enough to grab a lid and turn off the burner without getting burned. Super fun.
Oh gosh, you should tell them that they make these fine wire mesh things called splatter guards that you can place over a frying pan that will reduce the oil splash above the pan.
Tristen that Orange Chicken looked absolutely delicious!! I would like to see you make some Italian food. Like lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo, Ravioli. I am Italian & very picky about eating Italian food out.💙 Love from California
The best orange chicken I had was at an Asian restaurant in California. They used red pepper flakes sprinkled on top to finish the dish. Personally, I would have used a little chicken broth in the sauce to bring down the intensity of the flavor so that the chicken is the star of the dish
Love the video as always. Bur, it might be fun to have you do a taste test and compare the favorite whatever with homemade. And see if they can guess. 🤷♀️
Tristan made the orange chicken look so easy! I think I could modify that to be gf! Question: How long did it take to get your knife skills so solid? I keep working at it but....not nearly as accomplished. So fun to watch. I loved the tasting results. The eyes....Joanne when she tasted the home made was classic! Everyone's responses were great. Mark for the win though. :) Bryson was also. So good to hear someone call out the lack of nutrition in fast food. I admire him and that he speaks out. We need more of that. I can't wait for the next video. Maybe do one to help us all figure out how to get our knife skills up to speed. That would be awesome but I learned so much on this video from how to fry chicken in a wok to the coating. (Adding egg into dry!) So many thanks for an excellent video!
Next time you should blind fold the taste testers and just have the sample bite ready for them. I think it’s a mental thing when you’re looking at them and there is a bias at play 😊
Mark is so funny I love his humour, we don't have panda express here in Ireland but I love Chinese food, sweet n sour chicken with egg fried rice mandarin style, or crispy chicken with noodles and either a curry sauce or satay sauce are my go to, I've never had orange chicken it sounds delicious but I'm allergic to oranges 😢 so I wouldn't be able to eat it. I have a little bit if I feel it's worth the migraine but for orange chicken I don't know if it's worth the migraine. Would love to see Tristan do a big mac from macdonnalds that would be cool
ASMR, on the slicing.❤ I don’t really see you guys eating a lot of fried chicken. I would love to see your take on that; or Chick-fil-a chicken tenders.
I just remembered a video that Aaron and Joe did with the hot ones sauces, I kinda want to see Tristan do that with Aaron or even one of the kids, but that video was hysterical, I’m still laughing about it when I think about it or watch it again and it came out how long ago?
Love it please will u do chow mein n sweet n sour brocoli n egg fried rice? im learning so much. I just sub meat for quorn (meat alternative in uk) as im allergic to meat x
Tristen, please visit oregon or go with the rest of the crazy pieces when they finally end up going. We could use the blessing of more men like you in our state 😅❤
Tristan, i have a suggestion of a restaurants item you could try to re-create at home sweet & sour wings from Popeyes..i believe i remember in one vlog on Crazy pieces one of the kids loved Popeyes.
Mark has got to be the funniest person in the family.
I agree
I was just about to come on here and say that I wish Mark would be on more. He is so funny!
💯
Was thinking the same thing@@AshleyNeuharth-oy6kz
Thank you :)
I could easily see Tristan trying to audition for master chef. His cooking skills are impressive.
I agree or any cooking competition that is on food network
LauraM I agree, he should also try on Hell's Kitchen with chef Ramsey.
I agree
Omg marks comments are the best. Depends on my outfit.
😂
The orange chicken that Tristan made looks very delicious. Too bad you couldn't pass it through the phone. I would try it. 🤣🤣
Tristan’s orange chicken looked delicious! I’m gonna have to make that at home.
Mark’s and Braxton’s tasting was the funniest.
I can only imagine Mark and Bryson’s convos when they’re working/editing. 😂
That’s what I was thinking! 😂
😉

I like Panda Express but I love home made food all the way ! Well done Tristan 👏🏻
Great editing! I love the added energy in the videos 😊
I really enjoyed the intro Tristian. Good video, you are so talented. Keep them coming.
When tasting the dishes you should have the judges do them blindly so there's no pre-conceived bias 😉
@@ladys8087 that’s what I thought was going to happen
I think that's the only fair way to do it. I enjoy that sort of cooking then tasting challenge.

I got panda express at my location when I first moved and there was a marinated fly in my noodles 😭

How does this guy know so much about cooking? I’m digging it.
Love your cooking videos! If possible, can you make the famous Jollibee fried chicken with gravy? Thanks
