Michael is the soul reason lightsworns even have a chance in the meta nowadays. I've never lost to a lightsworn deck using bujins before. I did just the other day because of Michael. Bravo konami for making that card, happy to see both synchros and lightsworns seeing more love.

Not all the time. It depends on the player. I saw bujins get annihilated by freaking grave keepers the other day on DN. I usually have a hard time taking down a properly side decked geargia and Mermail opponent... And dragon rulers can still give me a bit of a challenge as well. Bujins are the best deck in the game, but they're not unbeatable. And now that lightsworns are getting support, they'll soon be high tier again as well. The only deck that will truly dominate the meta soon, I feel, is shadolls... They're dominating the ocg right now, and come August, we'll be learning why.

Shaddolls and we still have 4 new ones to watch out for(2 out on OCG and 2 more still to come,Water and Wind Shaddolls). Sattellar is a pain in the ass,and While Lightsworn is strong,it lost relevance. I'm glad Judgement Dragon didn't get banned or semi limited,they NEED that thing. Michael is strong,but JD is on a whole other level.....a Black Rose but more precise. Abyss came and went alway. Now we have Penddullum and rituals (Killer and Necloth ) to worry about. Meanwhile my Quasar deck just lost it's one weakness(superpoly) and got me a new Master....Stardust Warrior
I went to toys are us and I saw this deck for $20. Then I went to my local card shop and saw it for $10. They were real cards 😀

I played against this deck using my Dinosaur's Rage structure deck the other day on the DN. Pretty odd that I ended up squashing it three times in a row lol.
Doesn't seem that hard if they don't get Judgment Dragon and stuff. I mean, you need 3 Judgment Dragons to really make that deck a force to be reckoned with.
Dragoniiii12 to have a decent lightsworn deck you must buy 3 structure decks make a solid build and trade or sell the rest
Dragoniiii12 That and have a reliable Extra deck. And DEFINETLY run Shadow mirror on Side deck. Shaddolls cry so HARD against that.

Back in my YuGiOh days a complete lightsworn deck cost legit $1000... now all that shit is common
nintendokings isn't that better, though? cards are more accessible so everyone can play what they like. Regardless, just the archer alone (lvl 4 tuner that doesn't come in this deck) costs $10... that's really expensive for one card

when wasn't it. all games are business for the people that make them... do you think they create games to make other people happy?
The yugioh business model is: (1)make more OP cards on every new format to keep the market flowing and people desiring the new stuff. (2)Then nerf whatever is too OP. (3)Then make more cards to help the cards that were getting outdated... rinse and repeat.

this structure deck is awesome, it isnt that good against stall decks tho -.-
tho with mine i basicly took the basic structure deck and splashed in marie the fallen one and 2 other synchro monsters (namley scrap dragon) just so i could get some use out of all its tuner monsters
The best thing about lightsworns is that they are not that overpowerd but not weak at all. Yeah I admit judgement dragon is a huge game winner but the card itself can be sent to the graveyard by other lightsworns by accident to its not that bad. Anyways lightsworns have a lot of builds like Zombie lightsworns, Chaos dragon, Pure lightsworns, Lightray lightsworns and the new Lightsworb Ruler build. I'm glad I'm a lightsworn user because its a deck with many ways to win and its fair for others since it was its flaws.
thats why its good to use sanctuary if you accidentally send judgement dragon to the grave

well, imagine if you had lightsworns, but they all have more than 2500 atk and can be summoned with no sacrifice. Obviously they have an effect on the field; but on top of that, if you discard them from the hand, you can also use an effect.
The best part though, you usually summon about 3 per turn. HOW'S THAT BALANCED?

There's really no real reason to even play Black Luster Soldier in Lightsworns. Michael took the throne, in my opinion. He doesn't get milled when you need him, he doesn't clog your hand at times, and he can attack after banishing any card, and he refills your deck, which is a really nifty effect.
Yall might be sad but when i got this structure deck it did not come with solar recharge or charge of light brigade wait vanishing light didnt come in it either they ripped me off
The sync would have been a lot better if it said "This card ignores Judgment Dragons Effect.... so OP
Hopefully this is the start of us getting good structure decks, where 3 can actually make a good deck.
most lightsworn decks have 1 Minerva because its a name and it mills an extra card
I'm debating between Synchron Extreme and Realm of Light. Any thoughts on what I should get? I plan on buying 3x of the structure deck.
if you're buying three, go with synchron extreme, it is amazing and I wish I could get a third
Realm of Light is way better no joke, I play 3 Synchron Extreme with more extra deck cards and I get absolutely rekt by any top tier decks. If you want a fun deck then Synchron for sure but competitive is Realm of Light by far.
Lightsworn sanctuary can be really good with special summons that are capable with my lightsworn deck.
I see that the 'one vid per week' on simplytcg didn't last long
The seal of orichalcos might work with this deck because lightsworn supports the orichalcos

Light sworn is strong deck but if you can't overcome it then you need to build a better deck. I get upset over it too sometimes bit then I just make a better deck. We gotta evolve with the game guys even if we don't wanna :/
I have added a galaxy eyes photon dragon to this deck and 2 synchro monsters
The best thing with these dudes is you can mix them with zombies to create zombie-sworn variant
If only they could have made this structure deck in this era, perhaps they could have included a common Lawnmowing and Minerva the Exalted
Spend about $35, get a Tier 1 or 2 deck. You'll wind up spending more for a side and extra deck.

This was actually my first structure deck , and i can say that's a lot better than the geargia rampage structure deck. I miss it tho cuz I gave it to friend (worst desicion I could take in my life), and now I can't buy it anymore cuz there's no place where to buy one here in Paraguay.
I bought 3 of this and this deck is so sick and its actually Way too easy to pull out micheal :o
Also the combo of daedalus with realm of light is Epic and Way too easy :)
I just bought this deck and it looks like it's so much better than any other deck I have. I was just wondering is there a structure or starter deck that could beat lightsworms? I was thinking about Cyber Dragon structure deck. Also, what tins might have cards capable of beating lightsworms? I'm a returning player to Yugioh, any replays would be appreciated.

It has mill and lifegain mechanics which are common in other games. I havent played yugioh in 14 years but im coming back and cant decide between sticking to what I know -with an easier to learn deck (even though is has sychros- wtf is a synchro?) - or going with the PEND BEST DECK! I hear the Order of the spellcasters PENDULUM is hard but strong AF. I love the "flavor" of both decks if that makes sense. I just want to be able to play yugioh again and not lose EVERY time. Im ok with losing 6 outta 10... games... I dont need the most meta deck but I dont really know where to start. Iam leaning Lightsworns or Spellcounters in the form of Pend Best Deck (according to reddit?)

Does SU work in a card shop? That's the only way I see people making a profit on selling cards, much less be able to re-buy a box by selling the cards. Most of the shops around where I live only buy for 50% trade value. And ebay is around that or lower.

Definitely a bit cloggy, but two run really great. You usually mill one and get the other or Monster Reincanation into it if JD isn't in grave.
A few months ago I was really getting into it about to enter a few locals with my deck a photon deck but I realised it was outdated and tbh it's turning into who has the biggest wallet wins so sadly I've had to move on but I've not found another TCG that I could keep up with. I think that's a TCGs biggest problem now only people with a fair share of cash can play them well now. If there is a TCG out there which isn't pay to win please notify me because I'm missing TCGs which I used to play ;-;

This deck is a punch in the face to all ppl that didn´t know how konami wanted them to play the lightsworn archetype. It´s like they are screaming: "THAT´S WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT BEFORE, SO AT LEAST BUY THIS STRUCTURE DECK NOW!" Well, i am still hoping that a new card game (or a balanced format) rises some day. Until that happens i guess i have to deal with structure decks like that. :-/

Slifer is worth about $15-$20 on eBay at his cheapest price. Premium gold is your best bet from a booster set, as battle pack 2 is VERY hard to pull him in. PGLD is actually quite easy to pull him from. Hence the lower price. BP02 Slifer is worth around $40.

this is why i dont like these types of deck, this one is not bad deck but for me this deck focuses too much on only light monsters with spells, traps and effect that apply to light monster. it should be more random
