New Holland Workmaster 75 with a 625TL loader. Couplers drooling like a navy jet. Capacity is only 2 gallons vs most JD Im more familiar with holding 22 gal. OEM couplers are way overpriced, so rebuilding these. Thanks for the video. Its been very helpful.Ill be looking for your company.
A leaking coupling on a skid steer. It started as a drip. An hour later it was a trickle. I have a machine not being used. I will swap out the same coupling to see if this will stop the leak.
Hi Kramp I am proposing to use the dry breaks on my 4600 John Deere to facilitate the snow plow I am fabricating. I wanted your opinion about if this is a workable idea. I have obtained a well-used 7 foot Western commercial snowplow with hydraulic angling. I obtained a TITAN pallet fork JDQA frame. The 4600 has 4 hydraulic ports to operate the loader that use dry break quick connects. I have attached the plow to the Titan frame with a 2 pin removable 2x2 x 3/8 angle steel. I have a grade 120 chain attached to the top of the Titan frame headache assembly to lift the plow blade. The system works but I have no more hydraulic ports available on the tractor to operate the plow angel cylinders. I propose to set up the plow on the 4600 and adjust the lift and a blade chain tension. Then shut off the 4600 and disconnect the “tilt” and “dump” dry breaks from the front end lift. Then connect the hydraulic plow angle cylinders to the now available “tilt” and “dump” ports on the 4600. Now, I can operate the plow up and down and operate the left or right angle cylinders with the “tilt” and “dump”. MY questions: 1.) Can the dry breaks disconnect the loader while there is minor pressure from the chain tension? 2.) Will the disconnected dry breaks hold pressure changes as the plow pushes heavy snow? 3.) Do you see and other issues? Thanks George
You too eh? So much for "leak proof" quick connects! And of course the leak happened a month after my warranty expired. But even if my warranty was valid I'm sure QuickJack has a weasel clause to get out of replacing faulty couplers. SABE MFG doesn't offer a way to purchase from them directly as a consumer. Replacement cost from QJ and their distributors is $50 plus shipping. Final cost is between $65-$73. I found different couplers that would work for $35 (shipping included) but the flow rate was much higher than the SABE MFG. After doing some research it is not advisable to mix couplers that have different flow rates. If I spring another leak, I'm going to change out all the couplers with the others I found or go with the traditional hydraulic couplers (the ones with the bearings inside the female end). I've used that type of coupler for over 10yrs on my plow Jeep and on my tractor with no issues at all.
But you don’t show HOW to replace the coupling 🤦♂️ Obvious it screws on and off, but no one shows how to stop the oil from flowing out when the old coupling is removed 🤔 🤨
Well, I have left my comment twice but for some reason, UA-cam is deleting it. QuickJack flat face couplers brought me here. The leak is happening on the male coupler. I would give more info, but my comment will be deleted. UA-cam is starting to really SUCK!
What led you to this video? Let us know in the comments!
Tractor's front end loader. Great, precise video! Thanks!
got a few air conditioning R134a quick release coupling which leaks quite easily. thanks for the tips.
I cannot find anywhere the O-rings, especially the white plastic one for 1/2" coupling. Where can I get them? Thanks, great video.
Great information. But can you do how to check for air leaks con air lines and/or fittings.Thank you.

Kubota front loaded quick-connect leak.
Do you apply Teflon tape to the NPT threads when replacing a coupling? Or other sealant?
NPT threads are dry seal and will seal on the taper, although a thread sealant can be used if required
Great video! Thanks!
You show how to fix oring in popper type connector.
You do not show how to repair flat face connector.
THIS!! The whole reason I came, as well!
He strung us along to tell us nothing 😢
Female coupler stayed open after disconnected. Why would this happen? Only 11/2 years old.

Hi Kramp
I am proposing to use the dry breaks on my 4600 John Deere
to facilitate the snow plow I am fabricating. I wanted your
opinion about if this is a workable idea.
I have obtained a well-used 7 foot Western commercial snowplow
with hydraulic angling. I obtained a TITAN pallet fork JDQA frame.
The 4600 has 4 hydraulic ports to operate the loader that use dry
break quick connects. I have attached the plow to the Titan frame
with a 2 pin removable 2x2 x 3/8 angle steel. I have a grade 120 chain
attached to the top of the Titan frame headache assembly to lift the
plow blade. The system works but I have no more hydraulic ports available
on the tractor to operate the plow angel cylinders.
I propose to set up the plow on the 4600 and adjust the lift and a blade
chain tension. Then shut off the 4600 and disconnect the “tilt” and “dump”
dry breaks from the front end lift. Then connect the hydraulic plow
angle cylinders to the now available “tilt” and “dump” ports on the 4600.
Now, I can operate the plow up and down and operate the left or right
angle cylinders with the “tilt” and “dump”.
MY questions:
1.) Can the dry breaks disconnect the loader while
there is minor pressure from the chain tension?
2.) Will the disconnected dry breaks hold pressure
changes as the plow pushes heavy snow?
3.) Do you see and other issues?
Thanks

QuickJack coupling o-ring blew out because there was still preassure on the hose when it DX'd
I'm connecting a compressor to a pressure pot tank and for some reason, the quick connect and the coupler is leaking air.
How do you replace the o ring in a flat face?
In the Faster range the seal kits are only available for the probe half, not the carrier half, this is a throw away item.
My portapower Blackhawk coupling is leaking under pressure
Got a leak on a JCB telehandler. Replaced the female end but still have a leak. I came to try to find out if and how flat faced male couplings leak.
You screwed up and bought a JCB.
thanks
F yea Jim need to do this on my tractor leaking like a sive
My female

By the way, it’s an old John Deere tractor.
