@TheTinHorseMonty I was really hoping it would end up with you in the top 5, my Super tournament is the end of this month , hoping I can do the same. Keep the positive vibes going we in this sport really need them. You are a great ambassador of the sport. See you on the water one day.
I fish the BASS opwns as a co angler. Been panopticized numerous times. It all comes down to your attitude. Either throw yourself on the floor and cry about it or be an adult and figure out how to catch them. No matter what you're on the water and enjoying the outdoors. Great video. Congrats
You were talking about how people say catfish just lay on the bottom. That reminds me of a night. Last summer I was fishing some rip rap. There was a species of fish feeding on the shad. I couldn't figure out what they were. Snake looking like swimming pattern but I kept hearing them attack the shad and I knew fish were surfacing. It took forever to catch one. Finally, I caught one on a tiny torpedo and it was a channel cat. I was like damn there must be 100 channel cat right there. Just munching on shad. Never thought that I would see surfacing catfish like that. I've seen them surface on dog food but that's different.
I think leader length can make a difference. I like about a 3 foot leader most of the time. I think the clearer the water and the calmer the conditions the longer the leader. I never go above 4 feet. If the water is really stained or fishing around a lot of wood I'll shorten it to 2 feet.
@@TheTinHorseMontyexactly, I fish as a Co behind ffs guys all the time in the Cowboy and Arkie Divisions. It makes it tougher, but as an avid tournament bass angler I enjoy the adversity/challenge. If he’s around fish, you can catch them too. My advice to any co angler struggling is to get comfortable dragging something, throwing a dropshot, and most importantly a Jerkbait.
@TheTinHorseMonty I did still watch the whole thing... but it was brutal! I think he should have helped give a good angle to cast at those fish he saw scoping once he started culling while you were struggling, sitting on one keeper. I guess money and pride are more important than camaraderie ! Way to keep your head down and battle thru, tho bro! Always enjoy your videos!!!
@@TheTinHorseMonty beautiful fish, I'm not a pro but dang I know what a big fish looks like om ffs their so big u can see the shape. I enjoy your tourney vids
What we doing today? Nothing about where or how were fishing its just scoping. I know you came out ok but idk why anyone would pay to fish behind these guys.
It's the chance you take if you want to fish as a co angler in the BFL. Not ideal but we have to figure out how to make the best out of it. Levi spent 100's of hours find small stumps and brushpiles. That was his pattern.
10 on the likes and #1 on the comments. Dropping the child off at school and hitting the lake today. Gonna throw a buzz bait, jig, and an under spin to start and a crank later.
Congratulations
Thanks Paul
Congrats Gabe.

Congratulates on both a great event, and your season! It really is all about the memories!!!
Thanks Ryan. It was a year of learning.
Great video and congrats on another piece of hardware! You have the right mindset and your results show it.

Well said Jacob and I fully agree. Good luck out there.
Panopticized 😂😂
@TheTinHorseMonty I cannot take credit for panopticized. "Billy gotta bass" who traveled with Scott Martin I believe coined it several years ago

Ya man they are aggressive suckers. They spend a lot of time suspended around shad balls. I'm learning about them too. Cool story. Thanks for sharing.
Congrats on your finish for the tounament and a great season. Thanks for another great video ride along. Always enjoyable!
Thanks for checking it out buddy!
Felt like I was in the boat with you!
Awesome. Glad you enjoyed it.
Dude’s Garmin was super clear! Congratulations and good luck at regionals!
Thanks. Ya he had it dialed.
How long was your leader for the C-rig? Does that actually matter any? I need to start throwing this rig more as a Co!

I'll never understand paying an entry fee just to be a net man for an FFS angler.
It's just the chance you take fishing the BFL's as a co angler. It creates a good challenge.

@@501Bassin_SWarb Yes sir. And don't expect a lot of bites. But that's the norm for me out of the back.
What better way to spend a morning than fishing while watching Gabe fish, and #wooderson for the movie reference alright Alright Alright lol
I'm thinking you caught a Muskie.
Maybe they will ban FFS in this group as well. At least give the Coangler a chance to fish.
They are keeping it in 2025 but who knows what will happen in 2026
Maaaaan...I was excited to watch your video until your boater said the plan was to go scoping!!!! SMDH
It’s challenging. I hope you watched at least some of the video to see it’s still possible to get a few bites behind someone scoping.

I try to tell everyone here mine isn't catfish, it's a scale less bass but they still don't let me weigh them in lol
Never hurts to try LOL
Catfishermen are struggling right now and this guy is accidentally catching them!😂😂
LOL He was smashing them!
Surprised the boater hasn't figured out what a 6 pd catfish and a 12 inch bass looks like yet on ffs. Why would u even throw at that fish
Good question. Those catfish were 15-20 or so pounds.
