  • In this travel vlog, my american Dad is visiting Saigon, Vietnam and I take him to a local Vietnamese barbershop for a shave, face massage, and shampoo. My dad was absolutely shocked by the quality of all of the services provided and the super affordable price.
    The exact location of this barbershop is:
    Cắt Tóc Nguyễn Dương
    166 Đ. Đề Thám
    Phường Cầu Ông Lãnh, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh 700000
    If you are staying in the district 1 area of HCMC, especially near the Pham Ngu Lao Backpackers ward or Bui Vien Walking street and you need a quality haircut, shave, ear cleaning, face massage, shampoo, or whatever else you can find at a barbershop, definitely check out Nguyen Duong Barbershop.
    Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed this travel vlog.

    To save money, time and confusion you should have common short questions in English and have Google translate in Vietnamese because it uses 6 accents (intonations) and foreigners are not familiar with them. Try it to see if it works.
    You can use text and/or voice if necessary. One example with the word ma: it has different meanings and intonations. For example:
    ma, mà, má, mả, mã, mạ
    In English it means:
    ghost, but, mom, tomb, horse or code & rice sprout.
    (Note: mã lực: horse power,
    mật mã: password)

    Vietnamese can do many things things better than the American, for example, cooking foods, drinks, desserts, good organic growers, sewing’s by measuring your side,and fits you perfectly, cutting your hair on an on VN is experts in using the ‘KISS’ method ❤❤❤ this is why Bravo VN🎉🎉🎉

    Well, have been in US for 16 years and I can tell you the barbers do not care about customers, they just want to get over it and charge for money. Would they still have nice conversation with after few times if you don’t tip them? I don’t think so.

    • @BigTimeBentley
      @BigTimeBentley  6 місяців тому

      depends on where I'm and at the type of service...I basically always tip for things like deliveries, haircuts, taxi rides...eating food at a place it depends on what type of place it is but where that would be seen as more compulsory in the US it's definitely not here in Vietnam
