    It seems to perform really well from the footage. Looks like I need to come over and test for drift 🚘💨

    Im afraid wha tis budget in this sort of field of play....the starting footage is so good, showing the power, the turns, the build quality. That goal immersion right on point. I wonder what 8700ish can it handle a 300 pound man for how many years, maybe can i get 10years? with like 1000 dollars of maintence and repairs. This is a great niche! Can you review Vr equipment, two are coming out and many want to know which is better. Quest , and if Steam can get it together in time to compete their new generation of vr equipment. I feel like this could be on T.V. Two of the Noobifier quality product reviews back to back.

    Any idea how I can get this to fit in a Next Level racing F-GT ELITE where the pedal mount is in the way of the motion equipment?

      It might be easier to divest the current rig and purchase something new that is more conventional?

    Is this system better than the dk2+ and is the 220 better than the dk6 ? I was looking at both as they appear to be in similar territory and both look to produce high quality motion ... so I know is subjective but what puts the qubic systems above the sigma ?

  • @flipcoin6301
    @flipcoin6301 5 місяців тому

    The performance varies depending on high speed performance or heavy load modes. Also, the QS-220 is only faster than QS-210, if QS-220 is running on 230V. So for most North American users, there is no actual speed difference. (I have a QS-220.)

      is the difference between 800mm/s to 400mm/s noticeable in racing sims?

    Can you give us a list of the most realistic motion platforms, for sim racing, that you have ever tried?

  • @tek_soup

    im not fat, but tall. they make the standard sizing of the sim rigs to narrow and not long enough. im going to have to spend extra $$ to mod it. they should at least have 2 different sizes listed when you order. i bought trak racer, going to mod it with monster tech stuff. using the code of course. 😀😀

    So is there haptic vibrations as well as motion like the Dbox 4250i?

    • @NOOBIFIER1337
      @NOOBIFIER1337  4 місяці тому

      Yes, these are adjustable and basically revoke the need for Buttkicker type systems.

    Do you think one day this could be useful for star citizen?

    • @NOOBIFIER1337
      @NOOBIFIER1337  10 місяців тому +4

      OMG, this would be mega. All that would be needed is some sort of digital output from the game. Like any game, the game developers need to support.

    • @Anonnymouse53
      @Anonnymouse53 10 місяців тому +1

      Star Citizen has no motion API output, but even if/when it does it could only ever really be a little fun thing just due to the physics involved. Racing sims can give great feeling motion cues before running out of travel. Motion can add a lot to flight sims too, but there's a limit to how much travel any motion system can give - works great for a Cessna or helicopter for example, but cant really give you the feeling of a barrel roll in a fighter.
      Sim Racing Studio allows me to use my motion platform today with SC, but it's not actually reading any values for G-forces out of the game, just sort of mimics inputs from my sticks and really, it's better without it. Hopefully CIG eventually add some API output for the basic motion cues, but I don't think it's ever going to be worth spending the kind of money on motion sim for any space game.
      It'd be fun to feel things like impacts shake you, firing missiles, etc. But strafing around in 6DOF at sustained high G just isn't something any motion platform can ever offer, unless it's the size of a football field.

    I would love to buy this but my sim rig is very heavy since I run a seat mover and g force seat and 3 monitors. I might need to run it in heavy duty mode and I’m worried it might not perform well.

    • @NOOBIFIER1337
      @NOOBIFIER1337  7 місяців тому

      The monitors could be moved off. And this replaces a seat mover fully so, the problem
      Is less than you think

    THank you for the review. I see you were using the Qubic on a entry level rig? I have a Sim Lab GT1 Evo, do you think it will support it? Or will be too weak and therefore too noisy? Cheers

    What do you think about putting it on top of a thick rubber stall mat? Do you think that would reduce vibrations greatly if installing in a condo?

    • @NOOBIFIER1337
      @NOOBIFIER1337  9 місяців тому +1

      If you reduced the output of the vibration channel and put a limit on violent movement, it might be suitable.

    How would you rate the improvement over the next level seat mover v3 with buttkickers? Is it worth the upgrade if I mainly do rally?

    • @NOOBIFIER1337
      @NOOBIFIER1337  7 місяців тому

      I do not believe these two products are comparable. The seat mover operates in two diagonal planes. It’s quite audible and because there are slings within the system , it is somewhat late when the person gets the input. QS 220 / 210 on the other hand offers zero latency and high fidelity. I’m sure there is also a fair delta in the price point. I like the saying “Pay once” and if my answer failed to satisfy your question, please feel free to ask more, or hit me on Discord.

  • @TheJAMF
    @TheJAMF 10 місяців тому

    You mentioned you run the 220 @ 80%. Did you run the 210 at 100%? Disregarding the travel, that would only be a 25% difference and not a 40% difference. 😊 But you have to count both travel and speed together.😊

    • @NOOBIFIER1337
      @NOOBIFIER1337  10 місяців тому +1

      I have the 210 at 90% but the system can operate at 200% if you really need more. The gear is super capable
