Look at the popular anime where there is a female main character alongside a male one: Sword Art, Bunny Girl Senpai, Shield Hero, Tagaki-san, etc. If the female character is important, they are actually written to act like, you know, actual, real human beings. And actual, real human beings -- even girls! -- fall in love and want their affections to be returned. Marin just doesn't know how to get there yet. She's likely looking for a sign that Gojo feels the same way about her as she does about him, but... he doesn't. Not yet, at least. He finds her to be amazingly gorgeous, and he is impressed her commitment to her art, but he doesn't yet see her with the same level of respect and adoration that she sees him.
Because she is Not a damn Tzundere. She is and Angel, a bit crazy but with a Heart of Gold. Just think back for the Moment, when she noticed that Gojo works all Days on to finish her Sizuku tan Dress.

He would of noticed Wakano running himself into the ground and would of either told him to come clean to Marin about the harshness of the time crunch or helped him. I was watching this French film awhile back where the female lead was talking about how she falls in love with men when she sees them work. Doing that thing they’re passionate about and how that sort of thing is such a rarity since so often people who court put up a front to seem more exciting or entertaining in the moment. Seeing Gojo and his grandfather discussing the costume as fellow craftsmen and family helps me understand this perspective so much better.
Can we hear it for Grandpa? 1. He heard them out after an initial (and understandable given the circumstances) outburst 2. He apologized and made sure Marin wasn't hurt (gentleman!) 3. He immediately praised Wakana's work on the costume, giving supportive feedback and encouragement to his grandson and disciple rather than point out flaws-- he knows what kind of guy Wakana is and that he's well aware of his bad habits and flaws. 4. If he's even aware of Marin having hearts in her eyes, he's keeping it to himself so she can be the one to approach Wakana or the other way around.
Gojo's budding skill in costume design has, unbeknownst to him, opened up a secondary career avenue for him, one that would allow both him and Marin to not only work together, but also both be financially stable. We're talking stable marriage foundations, here.❤

Just rewatched the whole show and remembered how nice it was to have a Gyaru type character who is overall just a nice kindhearted person unlike other shows like Nagatoro. It was really a fresh breath of air.
Never forget Galko chan! Also, Nagatoro isn't actually a gyaru, she has tan skin because she is an athlete. Outside of her earrings and fingernails her accessorizing is pretty minimal.

She's actually pretty awkward in how she expresses her feelings, but if you notice she crossed the line ONCE to hurt his feelings, immediately apologized and never did it again. She's just physical. I like how even when she realises she's in love with him, she still acts more or less the same around him for the most part.
She probably does this because she wasn't sure if Gojo's feelings were mutual so she didn't make it impact her overall attitude toward Gojo, but we still got to see her little obsessions in her own little world about Gojo 😂😂 which was just adorable

It makes perfect sense that if Marin likes someone, she is immediately up front with herself about it. She does not do anything she does not want to do and does (or attempts) everything she wants, wasting no time in any other mode of operation. It falls right in line with her character. If she were suddenly tsundere, this show wouldnt be nearly as good bc that would be against the grain of her character, bluntly honest and embarrassingly enthusiastic.
Whenever i watch this my love for Marin solidifies and multiplies even more!
