Saiyan ❤ always top notch casting. I play with my friends 2v2 and 3v3. I have got better through understanding starcraft baby steps, its amazing how avoiding unwinnable battles, retreating on time, sacrificing a base to counter attack or killing reinforcements helps you to achieve victory.
To be honest, I would very much like to have a tournament for veterans. Imagine all those players of old, now grown up men, with families and kids playing Brood War! I imagine they wouldn't be on the same level as the modern pro-gamers, but the show would be more important than the final outcome.
Flash's "controversy" is insane to me, because he got scammed from what I understand. Meanwhile in America, people like the Paul brothers openly scam and lie and they just keep on keeping on
Guess it was his perceived attempt to scam even though it doesn't seem like he did intend to scam, that coupled with the fact no one lost money makes it absurd but it's a different culture
@@Sc9cvsd Pretty much. East Asian countries value public perception a lot more than western countries. It sucks if you're from the West seeing this happen but that's how it works there. I'm just glad Flash is back and, hopefully, competing again.
What year is it??? I feel so nostalgic seeing this, like I'm in a time machine. And Starcraft Remastered really does look like how I remembered Brood War.
Hopefully flash will come back to ASL. Everyone assumed he wouldn't. He came back to ladder for a bit what a year ago? But this seems legit so hopefully he comes back to ASL
I enjoy your KCM casts. When you’re the observer please slow your mouse scroll speed or don’t move it that often. Other Obs that do a great job don’t jerk the camera around as much. Also, please give more ‘play by play’ on the game.
I still feel like I know little about this controversy. Wasn't it that Flash was trying to promote some kind of crypto but his investment was secured by the person who told him to promote it? And then he went on stream to then promote it to viewers without them knowing that his own personal investment was safe? I want to know if his fanbase took a big hit for that. I know controversies can be a big deal in Korean esports for sure so its curious to see Flash come back if the controversy was considered a big deal. Also while Jaedong has been showing up to ASL and all, I can't help but feel like he is good enough to be one of the best right now but still not at the top compared to other zergs. Personally when I see his name in matches, I still generally assume hes going to lose. As for Flash, I view him like the starcraft villain. Where I generally will root for players to try to beat him because he is basically the last boss. Maybe my opinions of these 2 would have changed if I grew up knowing there was even competitive starcraft but I only got into it when starcraft 2 was in beta and finding Day9 informed me of its existence. Its a shame because I feel like I would have been really pulled into watching it. It would have also been interesting to see how it would have affected my own gaming experiences if at all including how seriously I might play a game or what games I would even buy.
I made a video explaining the full controversy. You are right about the first part but no fans got scammed or lost any money. It was completely shut down before it started because of some leaks
I can't understand why not "ling bombing" tanks in game 2, or just drop on top of them all the units wasted that never got a chance runing trough mine fields and a rain of tank shots.
Saiyan is the BW caster I have been watching the most. I stopped watching Artosis because he has a tendency to dramatically overhype the players, and has an annoying tendency of constantly repeating the verbs "really really" or "super super" every few seconds. At a certain point they just become filler words that dont add anything to the cast. For example I decided to check out artosis' recent "too many lurker" upload, and sure enough he uses the word "really" like 10 times in the first minute. For any professional broadcaster I would recommend using synonyms like "extremely", or just say "really" once, or explain why something is e.g. "really good" or "really bad" , instead of repeating "really really" or "super super", because repeating verbs does not sound professional, and are just filler words that dont add anything to the cast.
It's him bro. Same ID on artosis' channel. Also Sea said he would come back in July on his stream. Also it takes like 1 year to get back to high level when you're out of practice. This is because of meta and also just muscle memory and sharpness. The hotkeys also match. It's Flash, but he probably won't be in ASL for like 1 year because it takes months to return to form.
@@DonLucas-n3j Jaedong, I could make a 1-hour statistic based video essay on that. His peak was in 2009, 15 years ago, when the overall skill level was much lower than now and he has never recovered from his 2010 “slump”. Just because Artosis started working on BW in 2008 it doesn’t mean that his opinions from back then are factual or eternal.
@@ManCubuSSC no, 2008 and 2009 were lightyears behind of 2010 and 2011. Skill levels dipped since then but not to the level of 2008 and 2009, now were comparable to 2011 again. Everyone who was around back then knows that, and the vods of old proleague and starleague games are still available for viewing in glorious 480p.
@@reekhadol Jaedongs mechanical skill level still holds up but his decisionmaking is just often bad. In the second game he clears all the marines and valkyries and is ahead in workers and army. If he doesnt attack into the Terran base and lose everything its basically a guaranteed win a few minutes later. But he throws away all his mutas and lings for almost nothing and then Flash has the army advantage and can get map control.

Flash is an amazing example of all of the above, and Saiyan a great caster of his masterful executions.
I see Flash vs Bisu or Flash vs Jaedong I click, that simple
Thx for the Flash behind the scenes. Cool intro
Great casting saiyan! Love the insight you bring to zerg player's builds.

Love the quick Flash content, very good stuff, Saiyan.

Flash is Living Legend
He might be rusty, but his macro is as absurd as ever.
Thanks for all of these!
Game 2 felt like flash wasn't playing to win but was trying to practice all the unit comps and strategies in one game
That scout with the scv in game 1 was epic dude.. u got the moves.. Jager
can't wait to see more flash games casted by you!
Im a simple guy. I see a 7 game series of a returning flash i sub before i watched vid.

LMAO, that Rush copium...
This is true!? He is back?
Rush and DudeNerd said so
yes he is and Artosis mentioned it and already casted flash game against bisu on ladder
He is not. Those guys are playing you. He is long gone
He's apparently back to ladder and rumored to be back to streaming soon. If he does ASL is likely but no confirm

ton of flash content coming soon
