They shouldn't have old people marking the spots where the discuss lands, they got it wrong several times. It should be electonically measured, this is ridiculous.

@@breatheandsqueeze2191 exactly. It is extremely hard to measure fully electronically without someone standing at the landing spot but at least use someone who is able to correctly judge where a discus lands

At 6:57, that's definitely NOT where Caballero's first throw landed!! The referee got the wrong mark!
You're wrong, the referee actually got it absolutely correct, it just appears that way because the camera was zoomed in in the prior frame and the immediate next frame its zoomed out, you can check 7:10 to see where the discuss exactly landed which is where the referee marked it
Looks right to me. Use ',' (comma) and '.' (period) to advance and retreat frame by frame - you can see it lands pretty much right where its marked.
You'd never mix them up with pole-vaulters would you.

do you realise that by age 14 the hand of a woman has reached its maximum size[normal], that is the reason the discus circumference is smaller on the 1k . men's hand size does not finalise until 25 generally.

Does anybody know why women don't reverse?
Reversing just depends upon what you like to do. A lot of times you get a better crank on that discus by bracing with the left arm and letting that right hip rotate the arm faster. A lot of times if you’re anticipating a reversal, you’ll cut the movement short and not get enough torque. I’d reverse sometimes if I need to, but most times I did better just bracing.
At first I thought it was in feet or something like for me during meets and practices, and I thought “oh nice I can throw 70ish” until I realized that it’s meters

In soccer matches, the youngest players also have their ages mentioned. It's a normal thing for announcers to say.
