Hi Man, GREAT BIKE! Just one question: this model comes standard with the SRAM 50/37 groupset right? How do you find it? I am very undecided whether to take it because these groups are to be considered for "professionals" cyclist, also I live in a city where there are many climbs I'm afraid not to have enough leg to ride it. ( i make 6/7000 km per year ) In fact I'm thinking of taking the model 2021 with shimano ultegra that has a 52/36 and therefore much more pedalable. But it would be a shame to lose the advantage of 12 speed sram. What do you think? Do you have any advice?
I was also a little disappointed not to see a smaller chainring combination on the bike, but was very pleased that they upgraded the crank to the gorgeous and light Red model (with Force stickers). I also live in a very hilly area and am noticing the difference 3 teeth make on the small chainring (34 to 37). I will probably fix the whole issue by changing the rear cassette to a 10-30 or 10-33 in the near future. With that said, I am a huge fan of SRAM and have ridden it for years. This is an amazing groupset and the range is quite nice.
Carbon paste is not used on this bike per Canyon. The grease was already applied to the inside of the rubber gasket on the seat tube. Extra grease was supplied by Canyon for this purpose also.
Hey, are the cables on the handlebars now also completely installed in the Sram version? I thought that would only have been the case with the shimano variant? Warm regards
The bike rides great. Much tighter and twitchier than my old Tarmac, but just getting used to it. The stem has 15mm of adjustment; a 5mm and a 10mm. I left it up right now as it is 20mm lower than my old bike. I'm not having any issues with it though because the handlebar is so comfortable and the drop is tighter so I'm more aero but not feeling stressed.
Congratulations on your Aeroad. One question.. How are you able to order your bike? I've been signing up on Canyon's website to get notifications when these Aeroad bikes become available. But before I get notified, the bikes are all soldout. Right now, I'm waiting again for the next batch of Aeroads. And hoping to finally get one.
Jon, I received a notification that the bike was in stock in my email, went on and the L was available, so confirmed everything was ok and made the order. I know what has happened to you is common, but keep checking and hopefully yours will be there soon.
Nice aero!!! I have the Canyon Endurance CF SLX Disc 9.0 (SRAM eTap). Planning to get the same Aero from Canyon’s outlet site once I can find one with SRAM.
Francisco, I am 6'2 tall with 34 inseam. My seat height is right around 40mm on the seat. I think that I could fit the XL myself. The bike is compressed a little on seat to stem and not adjustable. Good luck
Jordan. They are not the hookless. Zipp keeps these a secret but this is the 2020 design with 19mm interior width. The hookless are 23mm. But the 25mm tires fit perfect on these and the 28mm rear is so comfy.
Carbon paste is not used on this frame per Canyon, however grease is supplied and was already applied in the rubber boot area of the seatpost. Canyon also supplies 2 torque wrenches for use on all screws and while I didn't highlight them, they were used.
Like a little boy on Christmas morning!
great video. I get mine on Monday!
ugh how pretty 😻😻😻
Beautiful bike! Nowadays Canyon does not sell Aeroad in white
I just noticed the Silver color option, but still prefer the white.
Nice bike
When are they going to be available on the website specifically the CFR model?
Now send it to Hambini to ream it out and install new BB,good luck.
We need to buy you a bike stand. She’s a beauty! Enjoy the ride

No carbon paste and/or grease applied on the seat post?

너무 멋집니다.
bellissima
Why are there Zipp wheels with the Canyon? Doesn't it usually have DT SWISS wheels?
You are correct, but they changed to the Zipps because this is a SRAM equipped bike and SRAM owns Zipp.
Hey, are the cables on the handlebars now also completely installed in the Sram version? I thought that would only have been the case with the shimano variant? Warm regards
Yes, the cables are all hidden. And remember with SRAM, the shifting is wireless so there are only 2 brake lines in the handlebar.
Hi nice bike how price 👍🏻🌷
How did you decide on aero vs ultimate?
The Aero offered the best for my needs.
How much spacers unde stem is available?
How's the bike ride?Love the look.Ive only had specialized tarmac and bianchi oltre xr4

I usually run a 5mm spacer under my stem Tarmac, so it doesn't feel to slammed for you?
Thanks for reply
@@matttbnsf No. Not at all and I was surprised a little by this. But I am flexible for an old man...
How fast for shipping?
@@matthewbecker8079 Mine took less than a week. It appears when Canyon says the bikes are in stock, they are ready to ship.

Why would you buy this bike? You know there is an issue with the seatpost? There are much better options
@@Numeriwar oh wow, who do we have here. It's youtube's designated bike police 🚔 😆 🤣 😂 😹
Question, how all are you and what size did you get? I’m 6 feet tall and according to Canyon website I will need a medium

@@paulbonner8874 so these bike is a L size?
What is the size of the shipping box?
58x32x9. Why is that important?
What is the weight of this build?
I never weighed the bike but it's about 17lbs.
Awesome! Are those hookless 404s?

It’s a large. I’m 6’1
Zero carbon paste.. and not a torque wrench in site.
😬
