Wallmart did well in the GFC in 2007 2008. Their stock rose during the collapse of the stock market. The S&P 500 contracted by 50% and walmart rose ~15%(from sep 2007 to feb 2009). So how the hell is this supposed to be a good sign?

I was watching WM expanding their self checkout registers. All of sudden they dissapeared overnight. There are lossesevrn in WM we do not see. That move must have cot lots of money even at this one store. Besides. So many empty shelves. Now they are filling them with what they have. Choices are narrowing rapidly

Going to a recession? We have been in one since October of 23 the consumer is tapped out,they don't have any more to spend. They report gdp is 2. 5% but the actual number is -6%.we are in an inflationary depression as of now .

So two questions Steve, inflation as a factor of demand for goods can be controlled through market demand. If people have jobs, they have money for goods right. But how does money printing affect inflation? Would this be an independent problem that jobs have nothing to do with?
