She's technically flawless, but her singing doesn't have much of a spark. She sounds like just a generic, thin, sweet voice with no identity. I can appreciate her amazing singing capabilities, but her voice doesn't touch the heart the way her contemporaries like Alkaji, KS Chitra, or Kavitaji do. Unfortunately, you can't really teach a singer that, they either have it or they don't. Of course, its just my opinion.

Kuchh bhi. sanjay gandhi asked Kishore Kumar to perform during emergency and he denied due to this reason he was banned from all india radio.
