Lol gsxr1000 owner here and a K8 at that down in Adelaide Australia had mine tuned and modded lays out 199.6hp at back wheel

Street racer in my country Morocco, have so much respect and admiration for this specific models, it is a legend here. Since 2007 until I would say the arrival of gen 2 S1000RR around 2016-17 it kept being unbeaten. even the last gsxr 1000 model stock would get smoked by it if it had a good exhaust air filter and regular tune. ua-cam.com/video/u5XCPM0V_Ng/v-deo.html

It's all very easily removed and is lighter and more powerful than previous k models....I think they also softened the power delivery in 1st to make it more useable(tho whether it's an improvement is a matter of opinion)
