First you need to OWN a n95 respirator.....
I was able to get some KN95 masks from here: kn95masksdirect.com/products/kn95-10-pack
NY times said FDA is allowing KN95 now which CDC also recommended as an alternative to N95's. There's plenty of these in China apparently, so there may not be a shortage problem with these.
It can go in your eyes lol 😂😂i guess your are going to have to show us how to wear Goggles.
yes it is airborne.
@@badfairy9554 it's not airborne. Where are you getting your information?
@@dookiedraws1 All over the world from Doctors. The US has dropped the ball.
Didn’t they tell people not to buy them? Too bad I bought 40 lol
I have a few of these because of the pandemic. I have noticed that many people are not wearing them properly so it's good to have videos like this.
Wow that was sooooooo difficult, there is no way the public could learn to do this
LOL I love your sarcasm. CDC doesn't think we can apparently.
It's more important to know how to take off the masks without contaminating your hands
A light coating of Vaseline on the edges of the mask will make a huge difference with the seal. Better yet get a full face or half mask made of silicone with the proper filters. NIOSH n95.
Respirator production equipment: $73000,
$0.28 for 1PCS face mask .
Breathing vapors in is more likely then them hitting your eyes. I wear my n95 with goggles and gloves
I only wear N95 for anything grocery shopping going into malls etc travel anything else isn’t safe. I also wear P100 mask too for additional protection if necessary.
can it be reused or should we dispose it like surgical mask everyday??
Most N95 respirators are meant to be used for 8hrs of continuous or intermittent use per the CDC.

@@franciscofakelastname439 Yes they say that, not because they're not effective at preventing viral spread. Its because the US government only had 30Million ready for health workers. Health care workers need these more than the general public for sure but that doesn't negate the fact that an N95 (when properly worn) will help prevent the individual from catching it when around someone who is infected...and there's probably asymptomatic people walking around spreading it daily. Up to each individual to see how lucky they feel.
All though they are rated for 8 hrs of usage, we have always been used to one-time, single-patient usage with the N95 (literally grab anew one each time) NOW with the shortage of PPE, it has become very difficult to obtain N95's in most hospitals. SO, now we are issued a N95 and a brown paper bag. What for?..We place the N95 in it and send it off to be "re-sterilized" via ETO Gas Sterilization (standard sterilization procedure) and then reuse them for WEEKS. Usually cant get another one until the straps break!!
The mask the interviewer was wearing is too big for her. There's an opening at her chin/jaw.
It’s too small on me
Wow, not rocket science, like the CDC suggests...
Stop wasting those masks!!!
