Unpopular opinion but Halle is just like ddg and that’s why they’re together people try to infantilize her entirely to much but I feel like them showing their child is so odd especially because there was a reason they didn’t in the first place and you neglected all that to show your child to a bunch of strangers…… I also feel like this will be the beginning of some type of family vlogging / channel bs and that worries me because children should not be exploited. Them showing their sons face I feel like it’s the beginning of a push of their child to be in the entertainment space whether it’s through social media or more traditional forms of media like acting. That aside their baby is adorable and a perfect mix of both

Besides Smart water, Halle and Chloe aren’t releasing any projects right now. For the moment, they have to make money. DDG still have social media platforms for a form of income, adding Halle AND the baby will push his platform even further.
I don’t think they should go that route bc I don’t like kids being exploited and social media isn’t a secure financial support. I think they switch to Snapchat because SC is making influencers money.
I think DDG needs to get a trade and work his way up. Work isn’t easy to come by for Halle, but if I were her and nothing has come up-maybe Tyler Perry can create something between her and her sister or w/e. Idk I’m not saying they’re financially struggling (I don’t be in influencers bag, I’m trying to get my own), but knowing their status they have to work!

I kind of wish cc's didn't call everything Ozempic though. There's like 3 other glp-meds and you can also get a compounded version of the medicine that does not hurt diabetics at all. A lot do not know Wegovy is by the same creators of Ozempic that is strictly marketed for weightloss so even "regular" people have their own version to use that does not hurt diabetics supply at all. Not enough people are mad at the creator of pens for the meds.

Plenty of celebs are definitely on it, but anytime a celeb has lost 15lbs in the last year people go to hollering. And truth be told, in my experience the shortage is really because drs offices and clinics are hoarding it too. I literally can’t get my glp1 at cvs because they’re out, but I can get it at the dr who prescribed to me at 6x the cost 😂 No insurance help with them since they bought it out of pocket. The doctors office is never out of stock. This stuff is going to who ever can afford to pick it up.

@@se2664 I work for BEST which is companied with grada world usually around or before essence they have a hiring event for temps but I work for the actual company you can always apply at garda world or BEST.

My opinion when it comes to Ice Spice and Sexxy Red . To me sexxy red has had more longevity so far because hate her or love her she markets the hell out of herself, she stays in our face , like her music or not her songs are catchy and I always hear them during outings , clubs etc . She’s relatable to the hood ghetto girls . And she’s fairly authentic. Although she’s has some controversy it’s not enough to cancel her forreal . And to go even further which most will disagree most people don’t like Sexxy red because she’s an authentic dark skin hood girl . We love ghetto shit on anyone who isnt black or isn’t dark skin . I understand the flip side which we as black Women (especially dark skin) aren’t all a certain monolith. But we also have to recognize that she does represent some of us who aren’t out the hood, who still trap, and still are unapologetically ratchet .
On the topic of Essences, there are younger women who do not want to attend rowdy events which is why they go to Essences instead of Rolling Loud. We can’t lump the taste of all younger Black women as “ratchet”

People turned on Ice Spice recently bc her ex best friend posted screenshots of their text messages with Ice Spice venting about how Nicki was treating her. And of course the barbs (who all share one brain & have sheep mentality) all decided to turn on her & they were the majority of her fan base. Barbs are the main reason you see rappers like Meg, Glo, Latto, etc. all get random hate. If JT or Sexyy Redd were to fall out with Nicki, you’d see the same thing.
Then they should build up their fan bases and not seek to use Nicki and the Barbs.

Y’all forgetting ice is literally in her early twenties. Her metabolism is still pretty high and it’s nothing to lose weight if put a priority. As someone who recently went to the Essence fest and whose mom who has been going since 1995, Essence Fest is still highly catered to the aunties. The whole city of NOLA has hundreds of events mostly catered to 30+ only. Baddies/JT was at the Girls United event space separate from the main event/main concert. Girls United is an Essence platform catered specifically for the younger generation. Essence is a wonderful black festival that has so much culture and beauty and it’s sad to see people complaining about it who’ve never gone. Essence GU is a great platform to bridge the younger generation into the mature audience of Essence.

The quickest way to ruin a business is to make it inclusive when its core audience is attracted to the exclusivity. I’m in my late 20s and always wanted to go to essence because of the black excellence. I don’t watch baddies and would’ve been very turned off by their appearance! Same when Janelle Monoe was up there showing her breast. They been a mess since then.

Tbh i don’t think ice spice is on ozempic. I’m shaped similar to her and lost 30 pounds naturally in a year just from cooking at home and not having time to eat due to working so much. Which she can easily afford a meal prep service. I’m still bottom heavy same as ice spice but people don’t realize you can’t choose where the weight comes off. All the thighs aren’t gonna stay.
Essence has also been pretty colorist throughout history. If they’ve evolved from that then they can evolve to more gen z culture.
Colorism was literally beaten and carved into black people for over four hundred years and it has only JUST been acknowledged by name within the last ten years. Calm down.

As a person who was pre diabetic. I was given injections similar to ozempic mine is called mounjaro. I started in May at 260lbs its now July and I'm 245 and still dropping.
When you on that medication you literally don't want to eat anything just drink water😂. That's why they drop weight so fast.
