That omakase place looks so good! The first time I went to Japan we went to an omakase place and it was right after Japan reopened after Covid. The people next to us I guess were excited to see Americans (not really a typical experience in my travels 😂) and bought us a delicious bottle of sake 🍶 it was the kindest thing!!

There is a learning curve. But once you got it, you are golden!!

Do you have any tips on filming in Japan? I know privacy laws are different over there so I was curious on your process of filming clips (especially in restaurants, I’m planning on vlogging XD) !

Yes! Just be subtle most of the time hehe. If they say no filming then I put it away. But best tip is to have a tiny camera! This is mine I use!! Get the creator combo kit. It has the microphone I’m wearing as well as a mini tripod you can put on the table. It’s so tiny and has a built in gimbal. It’s less noticeable than a large iPhone lol. 🥰🫶 then just play with it! A lot!!!! I practiced on a Boston trip before I got to Japan.

@@buildyourmoxie I was debating on the DJI but ended up purchasing a small point and shoot (Sony ZV-1) since it fits my general needs more (though the DJI is still a very tempting buy) ! Have you filmed any vlogs with something similar?(all cool if you haven’t, just thought I’d ask anyway XD)

Is high season right now, but doesn't seem crowded or is my idea? Did u have problems to find accomodations? Btw last scene 😅🤣. I'm planning to go on july, I wish I could get the suica with the penguin, but now is not available for tourists according their web 😮

Take a look at this short I made. Just go to JR East travel service center. I bought a Suica!
I also have icoca card from Osaka so if you are going that way, pick one up and it works like a Suica!

@@soniaperez9269 our first trip was 3 weeks in Tokyo! We had two mini trips to Kyoto and then snowboarding.
I still feel like it wasn’t enough time in Tokyo! There are so many things to do and so many day trips to take as well!

Yep! That’s it! 😃 they like to keep it together and packed in case customs wants to look at what you bought. Just put in your check in bag :)
I wish you would film in 60fps
Ooo! What does that do? Will it help with the crazy LED light flickering?
its just when you are doing panning shots everything gets blurry and hard to see so if its filmed in 60fps everything is move smooth when moving the camera. thank you for replying love your content @@buildyourmoxie
