That old lady has a loud voice, you gotta yell over her or just respect her and shutyermouth....... Thatsa nice GREEN dress she's wearing. And a bonnet! Don't make um like that anamore...... Thx. ( her sister is kinda cute)
I can remember our hay having a heavy dew on a hot humid day all the way until noon so we would rake it and just wait for it to dry, in the mean time we would crawl under the hay wagon and take a nap until the hay would do , hard work days but I enjoyed it , listen to the arm plunger bogg down the tractor on the in stroke tks Andy for sharing 🇺🇲🚜
Those old "new generation" tractors were arguably the best tractors JD ever made. Which is why nearly 60 years after they were made they're still working the fields.
JD's "next generation" series, with the exception of the old "Johnny Poppers", were the best that JD ever made. Not trashing the new stuff but, all electronics and plastic. These, all metal and heavy with plenty of torque. Love listening to and watching the older tractors "work", keep the new stuff in the shed!! Looking forward to seeing more, cheers :)
You are honestly one of my favorite youtubers and do a great job with the videos. It was not half as dusty in the field as I thought it may be seems almost bearable
Great to see the classic tractors gettin a workout just shows u dont need 1oo thousand dollar tractors to do the job and get it done . Praise from scotland love to see the older girls gettin some work done . Hope all the family are well and ur self are gd pls take care great vids
Nice to see the older tractors getting in on some work. I'm sure those young guys would rather be in an air conditioned cab. When I was their age I would like to have had a canopy on my old Farmall for shade.
That 4620 sounds like a beast man, good to see the older iron in the fields. I like that Kuhn rake, need to find something like that for doing silage. Kuhn seems to make good stuff.
Well Andy that 4620 is the boss ,brings back memories years ago running a ford county I think she was 110 hP we pulled 2 sets of 10 foot tandem dis plus harrow behind 3th gear full throttle at night the exhaust would glow
Love to watch the old 4620 getting the job done. When we round balesd a lot of straw I had a conveyor belt from front weight rack back to drawbar to keep it from wadding up.
Thanks for showing the older tractors working today. I like your addition of instagram, and doing a preview of what the possible content is going for upcoming videos. Thanks to the girls for being willing to do the filming. Would you consider including some footage on hay being merged for chopping? Thank you for today's video.
Hi Andy yet another great video as regards crop balling up under the tractor some farmers use a press on the front of the tractor to press the swath down in the uk or a piece of lorry sheet front to back to create a smooth surface under the tractor for slide on by the way it was Ritchie agriculture that may be on you tube somewhere keep up the great work and safe farming to you and your family’s
I'd hate to admit it but pretty sweet outfit!! I don't want to run it but I'm not in my 20's anymore. That 100 will eat probably will eat more than our krone would!!!👍👍👍
Thought maybe he'd bailed out on the straight pipe but must of painted I black? Love seeing all that old school green iron in the field! Thanks fo the video!!!
Hey I’ve been looking for a John Deere 100 large square baker and would like to know if a 1977 John Deere 7020 would be able to handle a John Deere 100 baler
All those Deere, and not a legal buck among them.., LOL 😂 Only seen one JD 100 before, that was at the local dealership the day it came in. I didn't think any of them made it this far west... Never seen that one again either, must have gotten shipped back east??? Thanks for the video Andy! Wish I could put up a couple of pictures here.... About 12 miles from us there's a 40'&24' set of doubles that decided to flip over on a straight stretch of road.. has a load of 3×4×8 grass seed straw bales on it.... I'm pretty sure I know who it is, they mess up at least one truck per season.... They've got over 20 trucks, so they probably won't notice..
@@FarmingFixingFabricating Yes it is!!! They seem to lay one over or burn one up every year... And always on a busy road. A few years ago, they burned one up on the road, burned up the asphalt and about ten acres of timber.... Just a little expensive!!
Them 2 Deere’s make a good pair. Big enough to get things done but not so big you tear stuff up. Do you guys have many problems with your tedders and rotary rakes? We tried tedding a few years back when we wanted to bale dry hay and the employees couldn’t get it set right and were always roto tilling with it
yeah it took a lot of money and labor to produce those yields. I take pride in producing high yields and having good ground to rent and own. I take good care of my land and the land i rent that's what keeps my family in business.
I work for a dairy in Wisconsin and we were wondering do what do you think works best for spearing big square bales. We have a 2 prong bale spear currently but are wondering if a 3 or 4 prong spear would work better. If you could just let me know what you guys use to handle them and how you like it that would be great.
3 is probably best, we had a 2 prong spear that want bad but I'm hard carrying 2 bales at a time. 4 could give you fitts trying to pull it out of the Bale
Thanks Andy for your time, nice video, you sure keep busy. How many hp. Is your 4620 hear a little grunt& puff of smoke when plunger cycles. Turbo or not? Baler makes it work.
what did that wheat yield in bushels? our winter wheat yielded almost 170 bushels in some areas that we planted early in late September last year. we put a lot of inputs on fertilizer and we sprayed it often for weeds.

You are honestly one of my favorite youtubers and do a great job with the videos. It was not half as dusty in the field as I thought it may be seems almost bearable

No problem to the 2 old girls to get the job done after all the years of hard work still worth hanging on to. Good video
Good job girls, the old deer sounded like she felt every stroke of the baler.
Thanks to your daughter for doing the video. Love the old tractors at work.

Well worth the wait to see that old 20 series JD working with 100 big baler 👍👍

Great video nice tractor on the baler bet they were nice and hot and dusty by the time they finish. 👍
Love to watch the old 4620 getting the job done. When we round balesd a lot of straw I had a conveyor belt from front weight rack back to drawbar to keep it from wadding up.
Hopefully what Jered had on there now works
Ole girl handled that baler well. Thanks for sharing

I've got some merger work coming up, it's all been videoed just have to edit it all together.

Love to see the 'Old Iron' working!

They are decent and trouble some at the same time.
Awesome, I love seeing this action, great John Deere power!
Great Choice that Pöttinger Tedder 👌👍
Quality Made in Austria
Bad ass Andy🤘🏼🤘🏼 bale on
You should take that 4620 and convert it into a pull tractor.
Shhhh, don't say that to loud Jered doesn't need any ideas.
yeah it took a lot of money and labor to produce those yields. I take pride in producing high yields and having good ground to rent and own. I take good care of my land and the land i rent that's what keeps my family in business.
That's just awesome bud. We generally see yields between 80&100
Andy your corn looks like it would yield more than that. Does the bmr and silage corn cut into the yield.

Makin her talk alittle!!! See the plunger moves Jered around alittle.
What part of the states are you in ?
Viewing from across the Atlantic.... 👍
We are in Central new York
Would you recommend the John Deere 100 baler for a guy that is going to bale 1 to 2000 bales a year. No experience with big square baler.
Yes if you can find one that is in decent shape
Nice & steady with the double rake, eamuffs all round today ??
What I can't hear you can you say that again.... Lol,
Great combination!! Not a deere fan myself.... BUT that 4620 looks awful sexay pulling the big baler lol. 6th gear?
A couple times I think he got her into 6th.
That baler will eat lol
loleaf 902 yes it will
👍👍 Very nice!!
dam badass deere
Thanks Andy for your time, nice video, you sure keep busy. How many hp. Is your 4620 hear a little grunt& puff of smoke when plunger cycles. Turbo or not? Baler makes it work.
Thanks for the comment, the 4620's were factory 135hp
When is the 4020 going to be on a video
That does need to happen
Thanks
How's the diesel consumption there?? Just keep pouring it in??lol🤣👌👋
Deere's are thirsty critters!!!
You know we'll have to do a girl consumption comparison wheel we get both in the field
@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin nothing runs like a deere. Right??🤣👋😁

Anthony Banda wow 170 bushels that’s great
That JD baler takes less hp. Than I thought.
I think it only requires maybe 90 up if I remember right. None of them require much, it's usually the weight that you are pulling that draws the hp
NH Big Baler Top
Merci
👍👏👏👏👏🥇
2nd i think.... woo hoo..!!!!!
First I think lol!!
Yes sir
@south sask farmer. I know why your here lol
@@jacksongreiner2919 lol why ya figure that lol
Maybe because of the large amount of green paint in this vid
those balers suck though they make very small, light bales have to stack them 4 high on a semi to get any weight
4 high and you are over height
👍🏻🇺🇸🐝
Andy why isn't the wife ever in the videos?
She doesn't like the camera
never saw straw tedded before ,,,everytime we rolled the straw over to dry it it would shatter some and the baler wouldnt pick it up
It was soaked bad
Tractors are tractors they don't have a age these are doing the same as a 100k machine why waste a 100k
Is the Tedder 1000 PTO
540
Can't hear ya.
Please speak up! Thank you!
