Hey Andy another excellent video! Yesterday I actually delivered some lumber to the house down the road from your shop. Got to see the chopper in the barn. Keep up the great videos!
That flap works pretty good!!! We pulled a round baler behind a 4430 years ago. We Tedder raked everything to make more even windrows... Sometimes they'd be too fluffy, so we'd take a four wheeler out with a 100 gallon sprayer on wide tires, run one tire down the window to flatten it out... Your flap is better, no messing around 😎
Three by threes... Don't see many of them around here.. I know of two west of the Cascades, one is near Battleground, Washington and the other is near Carlton, Oregon... The one in Carlton is new, the one in Battleground is their old one... Otherwise, almost everything else is 3×4s... That's what the presses are set up for, for export. We are an exception, 4×4.... Only one I know of here.. (lots of 4×4s in Idaho. Quite a few 3×3s in eastern Oregon) I've thought about 3×3, but the 4×4 covers the ground so much faster. As always Andy, thanks for another great video!!! We're waiting for the rain tomorrow, hopefully it isn't much.. got combining to do!
Great video, Andy. A little bit of everything. Jered's pretty hardcore. Baling with that OS tractor seems like a good idea until it gets about 85 out. Ahh, to be young again.
Id love to get out on a big field one day and just let her eat. Not in my area though so i get to enjoy watching yall do it. Thanks for the great video. Catch ya on the next one.
Very good video with a lot of action. Nice to see more people talking and explaining things aswell. Can the one tractor with a loader keep up with the two balers?
It's amazing the JD 4620 has less than half the HP of the JD 7290R yet the speed from that combination is walking all over the JD 7290R Case baler combo, the reason why is the JD 100 baler was actually manufactured by Krone which makes the best big balers in the world!

How often is Jared shearing flywheel pins? Reason I ask is we have 2 100 balers and on one of them the flywheel became just a little sloppy on the input shaft and it was just enough that it would shear the pin way too often. Had to take it to a machine shop have it bored and a new sleeve/bush put into it. Might push on the top of the flywheel with the shear pin out and see if it has a little shimmy.

The baling videos are great but that case baler needs to find a new home and you need to get a baler that can keep up with the 4620 and John Deere 100 baler have safe fall looking forward to more corn chopping videos
I liked all of the different views you added in today, along with the drone footage. I was half expecting the drone to clip the bail it was near when it was going backward and sideways. It does work better when your not trying to do 6 things at once. 👍😁 About how many bales of straw did you get this year? Thank you for all of the time you take to record and edit these videos.
