Great video Steve loved it Boss to see a top angler fishing the way I love to fish. I also think the one you done on the Stick float on the Avon is one of the best I’ve seen. I’m off to our local river Douglas to catch some dace and maybe a chub now , so keep up the good work
Great to see a new video Steve, I have been looking forward to seeing another one for a while. Re- re-watched the flat float one only yesterday. Is that Arley/Highley Country Park area? I never fished up there but have been by on the train many times and on my bike once or twice. I only fished down by Stourport (Lickhill) and would love to fish up that way one day soon. I appreciate the work that goes in to making these when really all you want to do is fish but we all learn a lot from them so please keep up the good work. Thanks
Hi Steve, by my estimation 0.18 mainline is way bigger than three to four pounds. Did you mean 0.15 or 0.16? Your 0.12 hooklength equals about three and a half pounds breaking strain in old money? Yes? I can’t be doing with line diameters. Can you just confirm the sizes of line you were using, please? Cheers. A great video by the way. A fabulous afternoon that I am keen to emulate myself.
The old lines are massively wrong on stated diameters, nothing wrong with them, they're still very usable when you know their true diameter This vid I used Preston Pro Float diameter 0.18 is 4lb
Brilliant fishing that’s the way to do it 😻
Great video Steve, really enjoyed it, Cheers.

Thanks glad you enjoyed it
Would love to know what stretch you were fishing.
Fabulous Steve Great to see you back. Do you make your rigs up on winders? If so, do you use the same line.👍
Mix have a few on winders if needed for a quick set up.
Same lind as reel line
