  • Hey guys! I am so excited about what I am learning about Montessori at Home. I think this approach to teaching and raising children is brilliant. This gives them freedom, but with that comes structure and responsibility. Toddlers naturally LOVE to help. Ellie loves to be involved in whatever I am doing. I am trying to include her more in what I am doing. Whether it is cleaning, cooking, etc. I also try to have fun learning, fine motor, and sensory activities for her each day to keep her mind stimulated and to keep her busy! This video will show a typical day in our life starting Montessori at Home (we don’t do everything the Montessori way yet as you can see our eating situation at lunch and dinner). In this video, you will also find some fun activity ideas for a toddler aged 1-3 and a super easy and delicious dinner idea. So, stay tuned to the end!
I am so thankful for all of my subscribers and those who watch my videos! I know I don’t have a lot by any means, but you guys mean so much to me! I absolutely LOVED this video! I just love you and your channel so so much. You make me wanna be a better mamma. You have such a calm demeanor. My son is two and does only about half what Ellie does. This is so motivating though to get him to try more on his own. I will def be looking into getting that book!!

She is such a big girl!! My 20 month old daughter loves brushing her own teeth too! And even though I know she’s not doing the best job I always let her take the reigns then follow up on my own after :) she looks so proud of herself when she’s done!

Oh my goodness yes! My kids are not perfect 🤣🤣 I think a lot of people (myself included) edit a lot of things out. I think it’s good to keep things real LOL 💕 thank you for your encouragement and for watching !!

I really enjoyed this video. I have a 1.5 year old daughter and am trying to implement montessori as well. "The Montessori Toddler" is a really great book I picked up at the library. We also have the same cart cover :)

Oh I’ve seen that book and want to check that out as well! Thank you for the recommendation!! It’s just so fun teaching these little kiddos and getting their little brains working 🤗 🧠 Also thank you for reaching out!!

    Any advice?

Restrict snacks only 2-3 a day and put her on food schedule, when offering something new put something familiar on the plate as well it may take 10-15 times of reintroducing it before they even take a bite don’t give up. If my 18 month old doesn’t eat a sufficient amount during the day I’ll incorporate a Pediatric Shake into our day for the nutrition! & while picky eating is a normal phase if you feel there may be an underlying issue don’t wait to bring it up with her pediatrician!

I know this was a year ago you wrote this….hopefully your little one is eating better now? My kids go thru phases of eating well then not wanted to eat much and back and forth. I just try to ride it out…raw milk kefir smoothies with fruit and avocado have been great for my picky two year old. 💕
