Really appreciate your creative ideas without having to break the bank 😅 Had a rough afternoon struggling with a migraine so had my kids play with these on cookie sheets 🎉
Honestly this is the easiest sensory activity video ive seen. My daughter is 20 months (almost 21!) and I've been searching for Simple set up activities to give her while I am busy with my newborn! Def gonna give a few of these a try. & I'm sure she' will love the cotton ball one
I’m so happy to hear that!! That’s always my goal; simple, easy, and affordable activities! Thank you so much for watching, I hope she enjoys the activities and they help entertain her!
This is so cute! How old is your son? I would have loved to see how he interacted with all of the activities. Can you tell us which activities he spent the most time with? Also we’re any of these based on the Montessori pedagogy? Great video would be awesome to see more like this 👏
Thank you! At the time of this video he was about 20 months old. During the time of making this video he for sure spent the most time on the activities involving water! I haven’t done a deep dive into Montessori, so I’m not quite sure. I have made other activity videos as well (not only sensory table though) would love for you to check them out! Hoping to make more soon. :)
I LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH! i always need ideas for kid activities! The only one we could do rn is the water and sponge ones! She still purs all of the things in her mouth! Waiting for her to grow out of that to do more activities!
It’s from Ikea originally, but I ordered it on Amazon because it was out of stock for about a year near me and couldn’t be shipped. If you google “ikea sensory table” it should come right up! The name is “flisat.” Thanks so much for watching!! ❤️
Very understandable! Anytime I do any sort of sensory activities I make sure to monitor super closely, or if I have a little one who puts things in their mouths often, I will modify the activities. I like to use paper Easter grass or even cut up construction paper for bases of some sensory tables, of course they could still be a hazard. I’ve also used rice krispy cereal (even chocolate flavored for “dirt”) for a base, cheerios, etc. Things that are edible and aren’t a choking hazard. If you have a specific activity you’re wanting to do, but not sure maybe how to modify, let me know and I will try to come up with an idea for you!! Thanks for your comment!
I think I found which song it is, it’s found on epidemic sound it’s called “C’est La Vie” the one I use is the instrumental version. :) And thank you so much!
I did all of these when my oldest son was almost 2. But he wasn’t one to put stuff in his mouth, I would modify these for my second because he tends to put more in his mouth! 😊

It’s from IKEA, but I ordered it on Amazon due to it continually being out of stock. :) It’s called a “Flisat” and if you google “ikea sensory table”, it should come up! ☺️

I wouldn’t recommend to use most of the fillers due to choking if they put things in their mouths. I have used cereal, or things like that in the past if toddlers put things in their mouth. :)

We have a “pasta making” table. Flour, water, some pasta noodles and a rolling pin you can use playdough too!
Love it!! So much fun!!

I'm always worried about potential choking. What's your advice? My baby is nearly 12 months.

Hi! I love the song in this video. Do you happen to know the title of it by Epidemic Sound? I would appreciate it so much! Subscribed!
Thank you for subscribing! I will see if I can remember and find the names of the songs in the video! :)

Are these safe for toddlers that put stuff in their mouths?
I wouldn’t recommend to use most of the fillers due to choking if they put things in their mouths. I have used cereal, or things like that in the past if toddlers put things in their mouth. :)
