  • Interior work continues on the 80 Camaro with removing the dash to make some much needed repairs to it. This is a first for us as we have never had a dash that was not pretty much functional or looked well enough to leave it alone. Follow along to see what we find and how we accomplish this task.

      Awesome Thanks for watching. We are trying to get the cracks fixed on it with a plastic welding tool we have stay tuned.

    Now that was a lot of work to get it out. At least it is out and everything can be cleaned up. At least you will know for 100% there isn't any mouse nests hid anywhere now. Great job and keep up the great content.

    Judging by the amount of rust you uncovered, the windshield may have been missing for a bit.

    Wow, what a bugger to get that dash out! Are you going to install a whole new under the dash wire harness? Was thinking about getting one of those for one of my cars and would be great to see how much of a PITA it is with someone else doing it? :)

      No we are gonna clean up the old one. On our 49 we used a painless setup which was pretty painless !

    It was likely a C hair under there, probably a lot of them in that car.
