I don't own a car, if you want me to come to a location for dinner or event. I'm gonna need to use the bike to get there. only exception would be where I need to wear formal attire.
@lewisnic1234 yeah, there are people who ride everywhere, im not talking about them. Im talking about those who you know… rock up on their bike. More of a pride boast thing, big difference between these two scenarios.
Completely agree. As a all year round motorcyclist, through rain, wind and snow, i cringe so often when other motorcyclist friends (often sunday riders) constantly go on about their bikes to other people. They dont pick up on the social cues, nobody cares that much unless they are into bikes themselves. They might take a small amount of interest but dont overdo it. Yeh we all like to go quick and go on insane rides but a lot of people dont appreciate 1. Law breaking (speeding, fast stories) 2. Motorcyclist themselves (often seen as pests for reasons related to point 1.). And 3. Theres too much jargon, skill talk and letters and numbers (related to bike names). As primarily a solo rider i prefer just enjoying my hobby, i dont like too much pulling up at biker cafes because it is always the same small talk about who can take corners quicker, who has the best tyres, who has what bikes; yeh its nice sometimes amongst mates but its alway the same small talk amongst riders and it has to be an agreeable conversation, disagreeing is almost frowned upon. Enjoy your hobby, enjoy the friends you make through it, its a fun sport but after talking about bikes for years and years with people its just more interesting to ride than chat about whos better than whom and which bike is better than the other.
You're overthinking it man, lol. It's a hobby and/or mode of transport. Whether they ride or not, some people are interested, some are not. Like literally any hobby.. A possible interaction: "Nice bike. I don't ride, but my uncle has an X, and that thing is sweet. How fast can yours go?" *Ensues conversation*. I think a way to make a long story short. Ride because you enjoy it. Not because you think it makes you look cool and it is something you can showboat and rub in others' faces. People have seen a motorcyclist before. People who do not care about bikes do not care that you care about bikes, or that you think being on a bike makes you better than other people. Just be cool, and enjoy your ride. It is that simple. People that do care about bikes will want to talk about bikes. I was working wearing my Alpinestars CR-8s, and someone noticed them and started up a conversation about his sportster and my adventura. He was thinking about getting a zx-6r for his next bike. Then we just parted ways. No rules or code, lol. Just be a pleasant person. You're not that important.
@@nickdelclos7809 yeah off course, i kind of said that at the end, the video was just a bit of humour but at the same time, points you can keep in the back of your mind.
@@sparkthego I get what you mean though. No one wants to be that dude that makes riding his whole thing and is annoying with it. Im a 365 rider. I don’t own a car so the bike and gear come with me everywhere.
Even private pilots don't get in your face about it all the time, why the fuck should anyone care about who has a motorcycle :) Motorbikes are cool, I fail to see why it's so often such a fuss though especially among young guys that don't even have jobs.
i can't tell if this is serious or not, if it's satire its freaking hilarious, if not you need your head checking pal ! don't turn up on a bike? it's bloody transport, that's the whole point of bikes you nutter 🤣
I love this. I can't tell if it's satire or serious and that's the best kind of content
Good work, I appreciate the dry humor myself, nice chuckle. You just know there are some people out there taking this seriously too
This is so niche and I'm here for it.
These are the inner thoughts of that one friend who wasn’t socialised as a child 😂
like the guy who laughs at his own daft jokes.
like the guy who wants to gatekeep motorcycle culture and thinks being in a cult is cool, well done champ

its like telling your mom how your ride was, you might get a bit too excited and tell something illegal, happened to me a few times
Some of the stories will eventually come out, ride safe.

This is one of the most cringe things I've seen in my algorithm. If you're trolling, pretty good.
