This is more of a comparison with your R1 than a review of this bike in isolation. Additionally, this was my first bike and bought it after riding it for 15 minutes at a dealership. It felt right for me and I knew it was what I was looking for (granted I could stretch it's legs a bit on the test ride). The ergonomics are quite unique, where the handlebars give it a more upright position but the pegs are really high as well. Something that I really enjoyed but it can feel really odd to people.
Yeah that's true, I was tossing up between the title of the video being along lines of review of moving from super sport to Street Triple but I split it between thumb and title.
Yeah that's why I sold mine in the end. It still felt very much like a Daytona from the handlebars back with the high pegs and angled seat. Constantly felt like I was being thrown forward into the bars. With some clip ons or flatter bars it would've been a good track bike but it didn't work as a road bike for me.
Which bikes do you mean in its class? its not faster than both 636's that I had 06' and 16' and its not faster than my Daytona. My comparison was with supersport bikes I don't know what you mean when you say bikes its its class?
Its not i have this exact bike and a gsxr. Although i prefer the triumph in most departments theres a massive difference in performance. In fairness to the street triple at lower speeds its much more engaging
When comparing this type of bike with a full on sports bike , when your talking about 'faster' its the rider that makes the difference. Even on track a decent rider on a naked sports is ikely to be able to lap faster than an average joe on say an R1. Just my two cents worth.
Yeah that's true, there are people on an R3 that are faster than people on R1 on the track. But what I meant was straight line pull. I can noticeably feel that this bike does not pull as hard as a any of the supersports that I've ridden, that's the point I was trying to make.
This bike screams at high revs, didn't watch long enough to see if you went there or not. Also, the comfort issue can be negated by getting a softer seat (or cushions on top) and raising the bars a little bit. Not a review tbh, you just compare it with your R1.
Yeah I gave a little demo revving it when talking about power 3 quarters in. before my R1 I rode mostly 600's so to me revving out to 12k like this bike seems a little short, also maybe because my Daytona has the same dash at it went up to 15/16k is throwing me off a bit. Also yes I think getting a better seat will help comfort.

I love my 765 RS 2024 i prefer the position also im a hobbit 5ft 4 it just feels right for me!
I'm 1.70m and I have to use a really sporty ergonomic to fit in my street triple, so it really depends
@@gahos606 yeah that would be true im 1.78m so its different
This bike is as fast as sports bike in it's class if not faster.

oooh...I thought your bible verse was: "Jesus's Triumph could be heard throughout the land" !
LOL!
Which motorcycle do you think will be a better choice for road and track? honda cb1000r 2008 vs triumph street triple 675r 2013r
I probably go the Triumph, smaller and more fun for both road and track.

@@sparkthego Yep, agreed.
just use counter steer
I always coutersteer
everybody uses countersteer even subconsciously because there is no other way to turn
@@karol-mr9mf some people think its not real, I made a short about counter steering ages ago and I got alot of hate for it.
