How is your HUD so clear? I can barely see where my charge bar is lol! And is there a way to turn off the shaking when a rock is about to crack when mining?? I see yours didn’t shake much.
It might be because I'm playing at 21:9 resolution, I don't think scaling works properly because on some ships the HUD is bigger than it's supposed to be. I agree though, the the charge bar is oddly small considering that's the focus of that activity. For the camera shake there's an option under audio options for shake from audio effects, or something of that nature. Take a look there. It's the same option that makes your screen shake if somebody is in the chin turret in a Hercules.
thats the first thing i thought also. im still on 1920x1080 and it looks like hell. my eyesight is good but i have to squint a little at the bar, not enough difference between the green colors when keeping the rock in the green zone, and the text looks like hell. 9 years later, game is still shitty xD
It depends on the type of refining but the most you can about double the auec you get. A full prospector load is 140k/281k raw and refined respectively.
I believe that has been patched. There is a dialog box that requires you to press okay after the work order is submitted, and that prevents you from submitting it multiple times.

You can mine quantanium with the standard laser. Everyone says lancet is mandatory but its actually weaker than the stock laser. The benefit you get is stability with the lancet. Its possible If you're careful and dont overcharge, though would still be much easier with consumables. You can always rent a prospector and go for laranite and the other high value ore instead of quant. Hope this helps!
