  • Since making his debut with the Blue Jays in 2019, Bo Bichette has been one of the best hitting shortstops in MLB. Bo has never been afraid to swing the bat, and he's gone from a very good hitter, to hitting almost everything that's thrown at him. Let's take a look at Bo Bichette and his 2023 season so far, where Bo has been hitting everything and the kitchen sink.

Glad to see that Bo Bichette is finally getting the recognition he deserves. I’m not one to bet on young players, but he looks like a prime candidate to eventually get 3,000 hits.

Probably comes down to how much you think he slows down when he gets older?

Speaking of shortstops, I bet no one would guess that xander bogaerts has 100th percentile ooa.

Do you think he figured something out? Cause if I remember right his advanced def numbers were pretty bad until last year

Why would Bo Bichette need Vladimir Guerrero Sr. as a Father? Bo's Father, Dante Bichette, was no slouch in the Big Leagues. Dante Bichette hit .299 for his career with 1906 Career Hits and 274 HR. He had a 30-30 season, hit 40 HR in a season, and he had a career high in hits for a single season of 219...Why would he even need Vladimir Guerrero Sr. To be his father? He had a great one that got him to the Bigs...

I agree, Dante was a darn good hitter and don’t think he was throwing shade. I think he was just talking in the vein of Vlad Sr swinging at and hitting everything from balls in the dirt to ones over his head.

Ya just joking about them both being ridiculously good bad ball hitters. Vlad literally hit balls that bounced for hits, and some of Bo's clips are equally ridiculous

Go figure, letting the ball travel and hitting it on the barrel for line drives produces results. Everyone wants to hit bombs like Judge and how Donaldson once did but their style is only for the elite of the elite athletically. They've also had thousands of AB's.
