Similar thing happened to me yesterday except not in hourglass, I was solo slooping and got in a long fight with a brig which about 15minutes into the fight a 4 man reaper 5 galleon started to 3rd party me and the brig, I had no loot onboard and the brig was doing sea forts prior to me attacking them so I ended up ramming the galleon with firebombs and anchoring them so the brig could run to sell what loot they had. one of them cannonballed over to try and save my sloop. Sea of thieves isn’t as toxic as it seems sometimes.
I just started the game with the ps5 release and have been solo and duel slooping mostly. Today I joined a brig and we took on a reaper ship that I understand was high level, grade 5 or something? I really sunk my teeth in pvp on this session and while we ultimately lost, it was quite close for a good while and it was a great rush! I’ve never been good at CoD or Fortnight, not really a fan anyway, but it turns out I’m alright in SoT. I like the balance at least with the gear because even if you’re new you can go toe to toe with a pirate legend. This is such a clever and thrilling game and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.
I was on Galleon when we attack a ship with only two players and i had 3 crewmates but the battle last for like ten minutes because even though it was 4 vs 2 the two players was good but we still win. Btw the way it was on a Island so it was not a ship battle but it was still fun oh and please pin this
It’s in my opinion the most well developed PvP of any game. So immersive and interactive. You feel like you are actually in a fight between ships, not just playing a game
Great video! From one console sword lord to another... stop sword lunging in combat. Even if it's positioned correctly, it can still give you the stun/cooldown as if you missed. imo, it's too risky, I don't use it in combat anymore. Sword movement gang rise up. 💪

I see nothing wrong with seizing an opportunity like interrupting a 1v1 hourglass or not
There's nothing wrong with it, but you can't expect the people you're doing it against to be happy.
