Its a Big loss for PVR and Inox. Malayalis are known for their love of movies, regardless of the venue. When a movie is good, we're eager to explore in any theaters. Grateful to PVR and Inox for supporting local theatre owners.❤
They messed up with wrong industry. Malayalam industry now decided to boycott PVR until they provide compensation for the loss caused to Aadujeevitham (Goat life). As they already paid VPF money in advance but PVR now stopped playing the movie without informing anything.

But I really didn't understand the.fact that by saying that upcoming Malayalam movies won't be given to pvrinox, Malayalam films are loosing the screens and loosing the viewers too right?? So what's a solution for this issue??
When something becomes a monopoly with competitions out. Such challenges are expected. Hence as informed during the kerala film fraternity by directors and producers have told, we need to stop using the facilities of PVR and Inox which could conclude to its end as making them felt relevant is the major root of such a situation. Kerala audience do stop going to theaters if they are not able to screen a movie properly or facilities are not upto the mark.. example carnival CINEMAS was one of the first branded multiplex came to the capital of Kerala and all got wrapped up in no time with poor facility and features.
Hi Being in the exhibitors business, the arm twisters here is not Pvr. They usually don’t participate in any strike or whatever to interrupt exhibition of any movie we single screen theatres do. This time around, the difference is that, the content offered by the producer’s association is less costly but what they are doing is they arm twist all single screen and small multiplex into forcing their projection in the their premises. Some exhibitors like to have superior quality and hence they use private content providers. The association are enforcing a rule that their content is a must in all new screens and some movies have to be played as they wish so, if not that screen will not get any Malayalam film content. Which is the real arm twister where most of the new exhibitors are at the mercy of the producers association. Pvr did the right move. Now they will play the content to their liking. That should be their choice.
It is absolutely fine if PVR wants to use only the service that they have got into contract with. But then, if they are contract with these services, then they should be paying for the service. The person who is using the service, who is paying for the service should have the final say in the choice of the service. If PVR is making contracts about services that they are not paying for and expect the film producers to pay for, then that is conflict of interest. And it is not as if PVR is a safe business. We all know that people now a days are ok with online content, so if they become too inflexible, people will just opt them out of the ecosystem.
Thanks to M A Yousuf Ali of Lulu Groups Internationals to settle this issue. They own a chain of Shopping Malls in India and Globally. PVR screens sit on top of them.
Understand few things Malyalam cinema though great doesnt make much money as big as telugu, tamil or kannada, That is y pvr had the guts to ban them. secondly as the host rightly said that pvr has contracts which are btw ironclad with qube etc...which at any cost cannot be broken. the only way pdc can make money is build or rent their won theatres . as they say there are good movies there are hit movies ....businessess run on hit movies everbody make money on hit movies not on good movies. In south we love making good product but we ignore the business or profitability part of it and end up killing the product !!!!!
Let them do what they want to do. They cant do this forever. But this tells someone is jealous, someone is hating good films or someone is not doing good.
What you failed to mention is that even theatres in Kerala are against the film producers association. The difference PVR can afford to ban Malayalam movies from its theatres, while these local theatres can't. They can only revolt in silence. The producers association is a extremely corrupt and bossy association. They routinely ban actors, basically to "teach them a lesson". They are very well connected businessmen, and so often get things to go their way. Just check the interview with theatre owners of Kerala and you'll see how theatres in Kerala are also losing money because of the producers..
When Hollwood Producers don't pay Virtual Print Fee to screen their movies in India....why are they forcing Malayalam Movie Producers to pay such a fee
It was wrong for the Malayalam producers to try to force theaters to user their service , it was also a blunder by PVR to stop screening their films as a show of force.
We Malayalam film industry as well as audience is lease bothered if any cocus has formed to destabilize us, we are very much aware of the calibur to handle such a situation as we are never starving of talence, our base is talence other than production fund's, we always make films budget friendly, so a cocus threat never shake us.
Need to boycott PVR all nation wide to stop this monopoly. If its currently in Malayalam industry it could soon be seen in other industries as well. And they could do whatever they want regards to movie releases.
The issue between pvr and Malayalam cinema is concluded. PVR will open Booking for Malayalam cinema ASAP. Today's meeting with both parties is successful..... S
Still not clear with the issue, can someone explain. Is PVR unable to accept a new content distributor because of their existing contract? Why else would they refuse PDC ? It does not affect them in any way.. who gives them the content..

Malayalam industry on fire 🔥 🔥🔥🔥 no one can stop it❤❤
Its a Big loss for PVR and Inox. Malayalis are known for their love of movies, regardless of the venue. When a movie is good, we're eager to explore in any theaters. Grateful to PVR and Inox for supporting local theatre owners.❤
i waited for manjummel boys and they never aired it in the theatre near meee
Thanks Nona you have spoken about this ... I wish more speak about this issue...
It's high time that we stop calling Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood etc.. it's all Indian cinema at the end of the day.
Just in : issue resolved.. booking starts from today evening or tomorrow
The problem is resolved now...!!!
Thanks bro for standing with Malayalam film industry, soon or later this would happen to other film industries given the monopoly power of PVR.
They messed up with wrong industry. Malayalam industry now decided to boycott PVR until they provide compensation for the loss caused to Aadujeevitham (Goat life). As they already paid VPF money in advance but PVR now stopped playing the movie without informing anything.
Issue solved.
Precise on the tech part & on business ethics👌👍 but i would like to know rhe complete terms & condition of PDC 😊
Nona no matter how far it is..i dont care if u need to take a train.try watching Aavesham in theatres. Its mollywoods version of paisa vasool celeboratory film with an electrifying performance by FaFa
Won't different pricing for the different technologies solve the issue?
We can wait for it to come on an ott app but the movies are best on theathers Nona Prince did put a commentt saying the problem got resolved. But the movies are already coming to ott so ppl from other states counld,nt get the theather experince.
Already Aavesham, Varshangalk shesham and Aadujeevitham is Running shows filled Without Them.
But I really didn't understand the.fact that by saying that upcoming Malayalam movies won't be given to pvrinox, Malayalam films are loosing the screens and loosing the viewers too right?? So what's a solution for this issue??
Well explained.. kept it simple and understandable
Good information on how the distribution works.👍
Always in solidarity with the malayalam film makers and industry.🩵
The one and only brilliant industry in the country.💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Only, now, i came to grips with this predicament!
Thank you brother for bringing good movies to public. Now I started watching Malayalam. Frankly I I say Malayalam movie the best
PVR claiming PDC is anti-competitive while they are a monopoly flexing they anti-competitive muscles. Irony just died.
Haha truee... Even after the issue being resolved I don't feel like watching movies in pvr now
The issue got resolved few hours before.
Hi
Being in the exhibitors business, the arm twisters here is not Pvr.
If they are a clear monopoly, couldn't they be taken to court for anti- trust laws?
Wait!!! Why am i seeing you everywhere? 😂
@@Inoitoh-k3d algorithm, most probably. UA-cam, make recommendations based on what channels have common viewers
@@aleenaprasannan2146 yeah i guess 😁
Why don't you do that ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️
In an Unjust Land , Justice is Legal. It is Gandhi who Broke the law by making Salt......
Down with Capitalism 🤚🤚🤚🤚🤚
Malayalam cinemas making a signature Tha we are making world class cinema🤌🏻💥😇
It is absolutely fine if PVR wants to use only the service that they have got into contract with. But then, if they are contract with these services, then they should be paying for the service. The person who is using the service, who is paying for the service should have the final say in the choice of the service.
If PVR is making contracts about services that they are not paying for and expect the film producers to pay for, then that is conflict of interest.
And it is not as if PVR is a safe business. We all know that people now a days are ok with online content, so if they become too inflexible, people will just opt them out of the ecosystem.
Issue solved...
Thanks to M A Yousuf Ali of Lulu Groups Internationals to settle this issue. They own a chain of Shopping Malls in India and Globally. PVR screens sit on top of them.
Now the PVR issue is sort out ...no more directors strike against them....
Textbook example of what monopoly does to an industry
Latest news that the PVR issue is solved ❤
Very well explained .good
Understand few things
Malyalam cinema though great doesnt make much money as big as telugu, tamil or kannada, That is y pvr had the guts to ban them. secondly as the host rightly said that pvr has contracts which are btw ironclad with qube etc...which at any cost cannot be broken. the only way pdc can make money is build or rent their won theatres . as they say there are good movies there are hit movies ....businessess run on hit movies everbody make money on hit movies not on good movies. In south we love making good product but we ignore the business or profitability part of it and end up killing the product !!!!!
CCI has to look into it.
Monopoly of any kind in any industry is not good at all...be it pvr-inox, indigo, jio etc ...
i saw 2 movies out of 3 that you have mentioned in PVR Inox in the last 2 days 😕
Issue has been resolved...🙏
Let them do what they want to do. They cant do this forever. But this tells someone is jealous, someone is hating good films or someone is not doing good.
Exactly 💯 jealousy for a small industry giving big bangers
Got a news that just now they opened all theatres across india. Business tycoon Usuf Ali got involved.
its been solved ❤
What you failed to mention is that even theatres in Kerala are against the film producers association. The difference PVR can afford to ban Malayalam movies from its theatres, while these local theatres can't. They can only revolt in silence. The producers association is a extremely corrupt and bossy association. They routinely ban actors, basically to "teach them a lesson". They are very well connected businessmen, and so often get things to go their way. Just check the interview with theatre owners of Kerala and you'll see how theatres in Kerala are also losing money because of the producers..
I ask a malayali, think we should protest "we shouldn't go to pvr theatres"
PVR അല്ല... അവന്റെ അപ്പനെ വരെ നുമ്മ മുട്ടുകുത്തിക്കും....!
When Hollwood Producers don't pay Virtual Print Fee to screen their movies in India....why are they forcing Malayalam Movie Producers to pay such a fee
Edaaa….. Mwoneyyyy….❤
As per latest updates.Issues solved.Restarted screening..
Issue is resolved...bookings will start soon..
Hey, nona look at the latest news the issue between pvr has got solved ❤
what if another franchise comes and takes over the business. We have plenty creative people who can eventually do it.
All issues solved today. tomorrow onwards Malayalam movie will be available all over India -- PVR cinemas 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏♥️
Its solved
Malayalam producers cant just insist to use pdc as pvr already has sla running with existing service providers. Probably thats the case.
Still not clear with the issue, can someone explain. Is PVR unable to accept a new content distributor because of their existing contract?
Why else would they refuse PDC ? It does not affect them in any way.. who gives them the content..
It is now solved, Thanks for supporting ❤
The problem solved 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
