Hi John your telling me its certainly was a challenge but fitted it like you said and just popped into place. So many thanks for that. Looks fantastic take care. 👍👌
Hi John, fantastic work, as always. I have the feeling that 12 issues will not be enough to finish the model. It seems that there are many details left to be placed. Anyway, I guess a lot of work will have to be done on the final numbers. Regards.
Hi John. Looking forward to the cranes 😂 especially after the innumerous hours of fun putting the three decks together. 😮 I must say John , Hachette have a lot to answer for! Their instructions are not concise enough for fitting of those decks together, not being negative John, but I was getting very frustrated over the bulging and cable placements, and those pesky poles at the end, well I took them out, broke them doing it, but I will find something to replace them with, that's the problem using super glue! But got there in the end John and I found a easier way as well, fit boat deck to promenade first, that way you can easily see where cables are and any bulges and when you have that sorted slip the whole thing in to place on the bridge deck, that way you are not blind siding yourself with the screws, when I did it that way, it took about ten minutes max. With hindsight so much easier. Anyhow thank you John for wonderful crane videos, the sweat is over😅👍🤔✅
Good for you, Phil. So many peeps are having major issues with the decks. Luckily, mine is all good. Hachette instructions are poor, to say the least, but you got there. Take care and enjoy the cranes they are fiddly. 👍😀
nice build John fiddly again with the crane, what concerns me is when we eventually fit the bridge deck on the rear well deck, ive noticed that the notches dont line up with the holes on it, have you by any chance tried it yet
Got that John thanks, but it’s the lead’s coming out from the top of the funnels, mine are still coming out but I see you are not showing any, what did you do with them. Thank you
@@LindaDunn-ip2ip My tanks/ smoke generators inside the funnels are connected, so my cables come out the bottom, unless I am missing something! Hope that helps. 😀
Poop Deck festkleben muessen 😢
So the problem already exists with me when I deck the promenade and screw the lower deck. Without the deck with the boats. I have 2 brackets excepted but nothing is happening. I glued the brackets back in and ground something so that there is 1 mm of air everywhere. Probably the tolerances are bad for me.
Can't believe we are nearly at the end with this build now. Out of all of them this is by far my favourite. Brilliant video fella
Thank you 👍
Beautiful! Maybe you could show how she looks right now with all decks in place ;)
👍😀
Beautiful she's really coming together now looking forward to seeing titanic when its all completed with the railings cranes lifeboats masts in place
It is impressive 👍

Yes, this is normal for partwork builds. Thanks for watching 👍
Last 2 issues will be insane to finish like the Bismarck! Lots of rigging, etc

Looking really good John, how many issues to go?
He has 12 issues left
Yes, 12 stages. 😊
John, don’t forget there’s another crane to be fitted onto the rear well deck
I haven't 👍
Wonderful! In Serbia we're at no. 65, so I see what awaits me in some 14 months :-)
But the result is beautiful! Pleasure to watch!
Thank you 👍
@@JohnsModelmaking You're welcome! Pleasure to watch!

Excellent 👌

Thanks, Dave. Yes. Mine lines up great. Don't forget there are 2 more cross members to fit. 👍😊
@@JohnsModelmaking thanks John and i wont forget
Hi John, can’t see what you did with the wires that are coming out of the funnel tops. Don’t want to put the decks together till I know
Hi, I put the decks together in stage 122. :)
Got that John thanks, but it’s the lead’s coming out from the top of the funnels, mine are still coming out but I see you are not showing any, what did you do with them.

Nice John were you getting the photo etch ladders from as I would like to go that way as do not like the plastic ones we get cheers
Thanks, Geordie 👌 Ebay. I bought them a while ago.

😃👍👍👍
Evening mate just seen the latest video on the titanic excellent as usual will be a great shame when finished have you thought of doing the bismarck?
Thanks, Peter. I have, but I would love to build the Graf Spee. It's available in Germany and looks brilliant. 👍
What do you think you will build next
@peterscott3067 Don't know, still looking, but would love the Ford Falcon. I would also like the Italian ww2 aircraft from Italy.

@Mikail92211 have you looked at any Facebook groups for advice? Pop some photos online and ask other builders.

Now when I subscribe to this Titanic I read that there were 140 stages in this so I'm wondering if that's what you read as well please let me know
Yes, it is stated in the inside cover of the magazines. 😀
